The Akarinan government will be voting on the removal of this legislation:
The Vrignyan Parliament has finally voted on the most recent modification of the Purple Article, which will be substituted by the New Laicism Article. After several hours of debate in Parliament, and different speeches by the leaders of both the GPV and opposition political parties, a conclusion has been reached. Even though an even stricter version of the article had been failed by the Parliament several weeks ago due to a lack of cooperation within the GPV, these are the results of the vote for a more liberal version of it:
In favor: 240/425 (56.47%)
- GPV: 240
Against: 180/425 (42.35%)
- LPV: 87
- ISPfWL: 46
- SPV: 31
- EVDP: 16
Abstentions: 5/425 (1.18%)
- PFtA: 5
With 56.47% of the vote in favor, the proposal has met the necessary 55% of votes total to amend the Republican (Vrignyan) Constitution. With this change, Vrignyans will be now free to practice any religion, even publicly. Religious celebrations and holidays will be allowed to be celebrated, but they won’t recieve any funding from the Government. After yet another modification, religious buildings will be allowed to be built by religious institutions, without funding from the Government, without any special conditions. Despite some of the policies in the Article still having a role to exclude some religious visibility from the public, Vrignyans will now clearly have a fundamental right they were lacking since the establishment of the First Republic.
Some immediate consequences from the passing of this New Laicism Article are: The Government has ordered the main Vrignyan Census Department to perform a religious census on all Vrignyan citizens, to see the proportion of different religions in Vrigny, which had always been assumed to be 100% non-religious until now. Another consequence is that the construction of a relatively small Zarkanxiz temple has been planned in the city of Vraks, the birthplace of said religion. This temple would be the first one in Vrigny since the XIXth century, as all of the previously existing ones, even ancient temples, were demolished in Noah Vuseln’s dictatorship.
On another hand, protests have erupted in several cities, mainly Adleimen, Lifov, Vraks, Vimen and the eastern cities. These protests differ between being somewhat small and completely harmless, such as those in Lifov and Adleimen; to practically being riots, in which members of the VISD had to intervene, in Vimen and the eastern cities, where there is a large presence of the far-right and far-left.
From this day onwards (unless it is reverted), Vrigny will no longer be an atheist republic, but a laic (secular) republic.
Mitallduk Elections - The Mitallzhra, Tadukallai, and Zhrana provinces of Mitallduk have reported record voter turnout in the early voting period that ended on Saturday. Provinces across the nation are also reporting increased voter turnout. There have been no reports of violence or arrests at any polling station since the early voting period began.
The polls close at 10 pm tonight, it is expected that the Mitallarkava election will likely require a second round of voting. With 4 candidates, Veron Zhgpri (LAM), Daman Kullan (KM), Andana Talkz (LK), and Ya’oran Gallai (IND-KM), it is projected that no candidate will amass the necessary 51.00% to outright win the election.
The Coalitanian government has formally legalized political parties in a historic move in response to the public’s overwhelming demand for political reform. With this significant decision, the nation enters a new phase of political diversity and democratic participation.
The legalization of political parties makes it possible for other political groupings to form and register, giving the public additional options and a forum for more in-depth political discussion.
In addition to this noteworthy development, the government has declared that the present presidential term is coming to an end and that national elections will take place shortly. To guarantee impartiality and openness, the recently formed Independent Electoral Commission will supervise the next elections.
Among the announcement’s main points are:
Legalization of Political Parties: The Independent Electoral Commission, which will offer comprehensive instructions and guarantee a fair registration procedure, is now accepting registrations from political parties.
Future National Elections: A detailed schedule of events, including important dates for party registration, the campaign trail, and election days, will be released soon.
This choice demonstrates the government’s dedication to democratic principles and its receptiveness to popular opinion. The public is urged to interact with the recently recognized political parties and take an active role in the democratic reform.

—First reading of the Bill:Claire Renskes Annex receives legalisation from the High Court for Administrative Crime
Claire Renske, L.R. of The Plenary Committee, leader of the NNP, convened the Lower House of Country Collective and presided over the first reading regarding Nowell Rileys Bill on workplace organisations. After the first 4-hour session, Renske consulted the High Court for Administrative Crime for whether an Annex would make the Bill legal:
“Would the worries over the possibility of making the Two Associations a political body, be relieved if an Annex were appended to the Bill which, would explicitly state that their nature is not political?” The reply has stated that the answer to this question would be affirmative.
The voting in the Lower House will be held tomorrow.
—Ayala Moran and the High Court for International Law and Customs of Nasphilitae on Rolstons WF Call
Ayala Moran, an opponent to Adrianna Rolston in matters of International Relations, had asked the High Court for International Law and Customs of Nasphilitae; for a legal opinion on Rolstons WF Call for Debate. The summary, of the full reply available here, is:
“In regards to the topic of law, […] While the institution of public hearings and clear protocols in both judicial and political matters are valid and established in domestic practice, we are unsure whether such established protocols exist specifically within the World Forum.
In regards to jurisprudence, […] Rolstons assertion and cause for the call of debate, which seeks to erect deliberation and eventual establishment of practice which would confirm these, is correct.
In regards to the legality and legal formulation of Adrianna Rolstons call for debate; While legal, we do recommend that the Calls’ formulation and structure be modified, to avoid misunderstand of the Call for Debate being a Resolution.”

Officers in a local police station in Murkan have almost passed out just from what has transpired today. A tall man in a black cloak, with horns, and a mask hiding his face has directly walked into the police station and handed over a very large, bloody axe, to the police officers in the reception, saying: “As per our deal, I am done”.
Due to the very obvious physical correlation of lieutenant Joseph Birer’s description, and the blood on the axe, police immediately apprehended the man and arrested him, without resistance on his part. It looks like the man had a pretty severe injury on his shoulder, which had been bandaged not long ago. Police then took a DNA sample from the saliva of the man, and compared it to the results of the blood sample, which had just been released as well.
The DNA testing would confirm the man’s identity. As it turned out, the man’s name was Viktor Verien. The 37 year old had already been registered in Vrigny’s police database: during the Stratocracy, he was imprisoned in the Rijeke Prison Complex when he was only 19 years old for 8 years, due to inappropiate conduct and “extremism” during his mandatory military service.
With the top secret documents about all experiments in the Rijeke Prison Complex the Stratocracy tried to protect and censor now being public, police in the Murkan police station were able to link Viktor to the Stratocracy’s brainwashing and mind-manipulating drugs experiments, which had been deemed unsuccessful. None of Viktor’s family and old friends had even known he was alive after being sent to the Rijeke Prison Complex, as they also had never recieved notice from his release and never established contact once again.
All that is known about Viktor Verien, is that once the Stratocracy fell, he was member of the CPV, until he was kicked out for being: “too extreme”, and simply “weird”, as the political party’s members had said. Then, Viktor joined the Z-D Kresbo, until he was kicked out for the same exact reasons. During his interrogation, he only uttered nonsense and barely said anything to help the investigation and simply, to know why he would go after 40 innocent people. Police have already obtained a warrant to explore Viktor’s house in Vimen, which could maybe help identify the other killer that is still on the loose.
Krauanagaz State Dept: ‘We have lost contact with our embassy and employees in Mitallduk’
BREAKING— The Krauanagazan State Department says they have “lost contact” with their embassy and diplomatic staff in Mitallduk after an emergency alert was automatically sent from the embassy’s security system about 40 minutes ago, at around 8:47 AM local time. According to Secretary of State Darius Korin, more than a dozen attempts to establish contact with Krauanagaz’s Ambassador or any staff in Ta’ana have been unsuccessful.
According to sources inside the State Department, multiple attempts to contact the Mitalldukish Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Mitallarkava have been unsuccessful. Reporters outside the Executive Office Building in Yayyára say there has been a surge of defense department and military employees arriving and entering the building, including Krauanagazan Defense Secretary Haratal N’gevayya.

The Fourth Republic of Vrigny has finally placed an official “do-not-visit” order for its citizens when it comes to Akarina. Foreign Relations Minister, Alexandra Shinser, has stated: “Vrigny will not cooperate with those nations that go after fundamental rights, even though until yesterday, Vrigny was lacking one itself”.
Max Tertex, which had voted against the New Laicism Article, complained publicly to the press, saying: “If Vrigny was recently pressured to legalise one of those ‘freedoms’, due to its WF membership, it is only fair that Akarina is pressured to legalize same-sex activity as well”. Erick Vorsen, leader of the SPV, has also stated that: “In Article 16 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, human beings are entitled to equal rights as to marriage.” While Vrigny’s Government hasn’t yet taken any action, these reactions are indeed meant to be seen by representatives in the World Forum.
In the Rhaynan-based social network Klik-nyma, various users have made light of the current situation of the WF, joking about how “the Rhaynan government should do an inventory of all the civil rights in case they have missed some”. In response, the prytanis responded to these jokes, stating “we might, just in case ”.
Emperor Hinata Quirin said in response: “The vote is done, we have no plans to change anything.”
Foreign Minister Alexandra Shinser replied back directly to the Emperor, stating: “As we have seen in Vrigny, a vote is not a justification to hold back determined fundamental rights from the population. Despite the Akarinan stubborness on the issue, we urge the World Forum to take some sort of action. Personally, I wouldn’t like to call it the ‘Forum in which some fundamental rights are more fundamental than others’. The right to believe in anything you want seems pretty essential as the right of being whoever you are”.
With Vrigny now being one of the nations in Pacifica with the highest index in civil rights, the Government has changed its approach on the World Forum from being generally neutral and just having economical goals, to trying to preach a level of civil rights that is found in Vrigny, and many of the other main nations of the WF.
Alcoalitania has publicly condemned Akarina for abolishing LGBTQ rights.
President Dawod Durant states “What the Akarinan government has done is unacceptable and is theft of basic human rights. Even if the religious populace does not agree with the legalization of LGBTQ rights and expression, there can always be a middle ground.” Mr. Dawod Durant urges the Akarinan government to rethink their decisions.
BREAKING— Air raid sirens blared for 15 minutes in North Eastern Krautallaz as multiple aircraft, seemingly all belonging to the Mitallduk Defense Forces engaged in a minutes-long dogfight just over the border inside Mitallduk airspace.
The Krauanagazan Defense Department and State Department declined to comment on the matter.
Krauanagaz Moves to DEFCON 3; Suspends Military Leave and Recalls all Servicemembers to Units
BREAKING — The Krauanagazan Defense Department has announced that military leave has been suspended and that all servicemembers have been called to their units. Krauanaet Zharan’s office released a statement saying that Krauanagaz was moving to Defense Condition 3, DEFCON 3, an elevated level of military readiness. Sources in the Defense Department say that Federal forces are conducting, “pre-deployment checks,” and mobilizing reserve forces.
Krauanagaz’s move to DEFCON 3 is a significant escalation, reflecting the gravity of the situation. This heightened state of military readiness indicates that Krauanagaz is preparing for potential conflict or other large-scale emergencies. “We are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and security of our nation,” said Defense Secretary Haratal N’gevayya in a brief statement, declining to answer questions.
Starhawk Pact Forces in Krauanagaz have been placed on high alert.
