In Jakub’s yearly report on their economic status, the Department of Economic Tracking (a department of Jakub’s Ministry of Economics) has reported large financial growth since the end of the East Jakub Offensive. Reportedly, income from agriculture exports (a large source of income for the Jakubian economy) has increased by 100% since October of 2022 and is expected another 100% growth by late 2025. Jakub has been seeing far more businesses return and establish this year since the offensive in February largely due to the heavily increased stability, and the repairs to infrastructure have allowed for increased foreign and domestic trade.

The Termina Commerce Guild has summoned the 16 Governor Generals of the TCG in an emergency meeting to determine how the Confederacy can mitigate the damage done to Terminan exports in the wake of a potential CE wide Tariff Union. One of the besieged ALF leaders in the Piedmont Castle Prison siege has been found hanging from the walls of the prison. ALF released a statement saying they have executed the traitor to their cause.
General Storm who is leading the siege released a statement saying “We don’t actually have an inside man, we were spying on their phones during the planning stage. One must have misspoke”

He hopes that he could “reflect on the everyday and get to know people, and spread his journey with the rest of Besern, and hopefully the world, to share my love of motorsport that is also universal”.

The besieged ALF terrorists in Castle Piedmont Prison begin to execute prison staff, 1 hostage every 6 hours until their demands for Athosian autonomy are met. General Storm is widely expected to make a counter-move tonight.
In the wider region a curfew is still in place, and raids have been carried out across the region in the search for stolen firearms following a breach earlier this week. Military checkpoints have been placed on the county’s borders, and police checkpoints on the wider state borders.

A ferry traveling from the small city of Am Sichtpunkt to Selpe has capsized some 700 meters from harbour entrance. Emergency services and marine SAR Teams are arriving at the scenes. Report show that around 195 people were on board, including the crew. No further information are available

A fire has broken out on the fire during the rescue operation. Currently, 77 people were rescued from the water, they jumped as the ferry capsized. Further 25 people were rescued from the ship. 93 people are suspected to be still on the ship. Communication has been established with several small groups of survivors.

The Dacian Government has announced an economic initiative involving the exploitation of oil and gas deposits off the coast of Receava, a city in western Ârgevan. Although the initiative has gathered large among the Coalition government, large sectors of the opposition and small sectors of the Coalition have announced their opposition to the initiative due to concerns over environmental consequences.
A debate is expected to rage in the Dacian parliament over the next couple days, as the public also makes up their mind.

The fire has been under control since 0730 this morning. Several troops of firefighters and marine SARs went into the ship to find and rescue the stranded. Due to the severity of the fire a hole was detected on the keel of the ship. At 0558 there was a loud explosion. According to the fire department press officer it was a gas tank bursting, which created the hole. All troops have been called back at 8000 to recap. At 9 o’clock SAR teams went back into the ship again. Currently 45 people had been rescued from the ship and 15 bodies were recovered. This puts the death toll to 20, as five people rescued earlier succumbed to their injuries. 33 people are still missing.
