Princess Kauai of Keanu and Hurley has agreed a deal with Izaakian Development Minister Zak Holland to connect the islands to the mainland Montacian grid with favourable terms. It is understood the Izaakians will pay to connect the mainland to Keanu and Hurley, and the Keanu and Hurley islands will pay for inter-connected islands.

With a turnout rate of 60.27%, 53.78% of voters voted in favour of Kliegme joining the CE.
It is expected that Parliament will propose a bill for an official request for membership soon.

In a surprise turn of events, the King has appointed Ocana Sujin, the Governor of the Bank of Shai Kong, as a candidate Prime Minister after numerous talks with party leaders. Current experts believe she has a high chance to pass the votes in Parliament. She would be the first Paeonisian & Shai Konger PM in addition to being the third female PM.

Qaweritoyu: Former Prime Minister, Doctor Joanna Barrett, has pleaded guilty today for imposing slavery in the country. Miss Justice Christina Watson handed her a sentence of four years in prison for her crime. She is due back in court tomorrow to plead on her imposition of geronticide.
President Elliott said there will not be an enquiry into why the sitting President at the time did not use her Constitutional powers to block the former Prime Minister because said President has since died. He said, however, that there will be a review of the Constitutional powers and duties of the Presidency and there may be a series of Executive Orders passed to ensure this cannot happen again.
Vice-President Appleton confirmed today that the President Jenny Davis Murder Case remains unsolved and that Doctor Barrett is now a murder suspect.
Deputy Prime Minister Walton said he is currently disputing Doctor Barrett’s honorary Doctorate and that he will keep the Government, Parliament and the country up to date on the results of his disputes.

Empress Relia of the House of Cuza has been sworn in by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court after accepting the crown in front of a crowd of onlookers on the balcony of the Presidential Palace. Using an Orthodox Bible to swear her in, she said the following oath “I, Relia Cuza-Cantacuzino, Princess of Stoinia & Duchess of Sebeş, do solemnly swear, with the residents of the Imperial State of Ryccia as witnesses and my arbiters, to preserve, protect, defend and respect the constitution and the constitutional order. I swear to faithfully and in good faith execute the office of Empress of the Imperial State of Ryccia bestowed upon me by the residents of the Imperial State of Ryccia through their elected representatives to the best of my ability, and should I fail in my duty, may the popular sovereignty embodied by the democratic will of the people and the constitution be my judge, so help me God”. 37 artillery cannons then fired 37 times in her honor.

A handwritten note by what is suspected to be from Emperor Iroh F. Firenze was delivered to the office of the President of the Imperial Federation of Frost shortly after the coronation of the new Ryccian Monarch. It is unknown at this time what was written within the note as members of the Imperial frost government were seen moving with a sense of urgency not seen since the Reizen Civil War.
Some speculate that the emperor may have sought to offer words of encouragement to the new Ryccian monarch through the Imperial government while others believe that the emperor was displeased by the nobles attempting to sully his honor. However neither the Imperial government or estate have agreed to issue a statement on the alleged note.
