All airspace around Jakub City has been temporarily declared a no-fly zone due to the current incident at Karnet Bojoway Airport. All flights have been grounded and the Jakubian airforce is patrolling the area.

The TCRN confirms that the landing was successful and executed with “relatively low casualties” thanks to the intense bombing campaign before it. Thalapadian armor was landed shortly after and the nation is now pushing against the Ludvillians

Pelinese Volunteer Legion Captain Laurenz Rothenstein had recently passed away at the age of 67, due to complications with his liver.
Captain Rothenstein became a part of the PVL during the start of the Pelinese Civil War and fought in multiple battles, such as Letograd. He became one of the most distinguishable commanders of the PVL. After the Pelinese Civil War, he returned to service within the Reichswehr. He eventually retired and lived a civilian life by 2008.
Captain Rothenstein had also been accussed of commiting war crimes during his time in the PVL, however no substantial evidence has been uncovered to back these claims. He recieved several medals iron crosses for his valiant efforts while in service.

Crown Prince Aurelian of Stoinia is set to visit Valkyria for the start of the Valrissi Sigrblót festival. The Royal Household told that the visit hopes to melt the icy relations between Valkyria & Stoinia who’ve had rocky relations in the past year. Similarly, Sallodesian Secretary of State Njongai Muanko has voiced interest to join the festival as well, but it remains uncertain whether a full state visit will serve as the basis of the visit.

Princess Kauai, the Foreign Minister of Keanu and Hurley set to visit the United States of Izaakia to meet with Development Minister Zak Holland and Izaakian energy and engineering companies. It is understood she is aiming to have Keanu and Hurley connected to mainland electricity supplies under the South Pacific Grid proposals.
Currently Keanu and Hurley gets the majority of its energy from burning imported LPG in power stations on each island, with most islands disconnected. However, with limited room for Solar, and the Visual damage of wind turbines, the nation is aiming to import cheaper energy from the continent.
In a surprise visit to Sinaia Palace, Stoinian PM Gheorghe Vlaicu has handed in his resignation which was accepted by the King. The sudden resignation as party leader & PM came as a shock to many. Many believe that Party Vice-President & Deputy PM Şerban Voicu will take over the positions.

The leaders of the monarchist faction of the National Convention have announced they have struck a deal to pass a final proposal on a future monarchy’s powers and role. The commission in charge of finding a suitable candidate to the throne has also published its ten picks. Voting on all options and the final proposal will be done tomorrow. The candidate who receives the most votes via approval voting will be offered the crown. It is rumored that the monarchists have chosen to grant the title of “Emperor” or “Empress” and rename the country to the “Imperial State of Ryccia”.

Several Frost Nobles were heard shouting from President Kensei’s office expressing their displeasure at rumors of the new Ryccian Monarch being an “Emperor/Empress” demanding the Imperial Frost government do something about the situation. The nobles claimed that the process of the people choosing their emperor was an affront to the gods who blessed individuals and their descendants with the mandate of the heavens and that the government should pressure the Ryccians to choose a different title among other demands.
The President was later heard chastising the nobles stating, “It matters not what the Ryccians stylize themselves as, if their new monarch can provide stability. We know that the Divine Emperor stands above the mortal royals, and all you are proposing is to insult our emperor by portraying him as a petty god to the world. I will not allow such disrespect to occur and you best stay your tongue lest you end up in the brig for lese majeste.”

A Ryccian spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, when asked about the uproar among the Frost nobles, stated “the Ryccian government does not consider the protests of self-centered aristocrats as relevant to hear. The Ryccian state is secular, and it will not make any concessions to the Frost Empire on its domestic affairs, especially when the objections of a few nonsensical radicals are based on religious grounds. We trust that the Frost government will not yield to their pressure”.

A man arrested by the police for atempting to brake into a museum in East Padipeirou province has tested positive for 4 different drugs and with a very high blood alcohol level. The police say that when he was arrested he was mumbling something about a “ancient clay mask” and vampires. He is yet to be sentenced for anything and is being held in custody currently

When confronted again by the press during an evening walk about the alledged statements made by Ryccian & Frost spokepersons, PM Gheorghe Vlaicu simply replied: “Well it’s a good thing they’re debating instead of cutting each other’s throat. But truly our King-above-Pacifica ascends both divinity & secularism. It’s also funny… You resign and immediately they’re feeling existential.”

In other news, a man in Ikaranarean Tzara reportedly dressed up in historically accurate ancient Demakan armor and challenged another man with a homemade spear. He was promptly arrested by the police, however one officer said “I can’t help but admire the craftsmenship.”
