The recent departure of the political titan Gheorghe Vlaicu left many wondering who would fill in his shoes. Few expected a political outsider to be brought forth as a possible successor. Although not uncommon in Stoinian politics, the political elite have often times brought their own to fill in the position. It’s therefore surprising that they accepted Prosecutor Alina Celăreanu. Though the vote was multi-partisan with only a few withholding their support, many are left wondering why exactly the King has appointed the lawyer for the job.

The 37 year old Siranian Prosecutor has gained much fame in the legal world as an international wizard that already was appointed to the King’s Privy Council. Many speculate King Andrei chose her because of her special background, working with numerous financial titans from around the globe. It’s believed that with her appointment, Stoinia will take a more international course which former PM Vlaicu hinted at. While a likely probability, the ideologies of political outsiders remain shrouded in mystery during their first days in office.

New Cabinet according to sources. Source: Zimbron Republic.

The Office of the Prime Minister has confirmed a reshuffle of the Cabinet. The King approved it this afternoon during the confidential visit between monarch & PM. Remarkable is that Alina Celăreanu has chosen to opt for a technocratic government, filling the roles with mostly experts.

Although some members of the Vlaicu administration have not changed (Cornel Pîrvu, Ioana Tănase & Iulian Proca remaining in their same position, Valeriu Codreanu still remains appointed by the King and Tudor Predoiu transferring to the Ministry of Finance), it seems Celăreanu’s administration still values expertise. Bringing in new experts such as Mircea Ghencea, a diplomat to Cordilian nations, Carlos Verdugo, a prominent civil servant from Carraca, Carla Ursini, a bio-engineer Professor from the Bulowayo Institute of Technology, Poroka Karauna, a pedagogue expert from Carraca, Viorica Sandulescu, a former hospital director, Cristian Ghencea, a former business leader from Calicea turned politician, and Cânjo Júngsu, an economist from Tianjin & Professor at the Bailtemmic Institute of Business Administration (INSBAD).

The new administration looks promising, but for now it remains uncertain what the priorities of the administration would look like. Press conferences are already planned and by the end of the week, we should expect a clear vision from the new administration.
