Krauanagazan officials have condemned the move as a “blatant act of aggression” and a violation of Mitallduk’s sovereignty. Krauanaet Thalira Renkara has called for an emergency session of the World Forum to address the crisis.

The Mitalldukish government, already weakened by the ongoing civil war, has yet to issue an official statement. The Takaran People’s Army & Purity Vanguard coalition, which controls much of Mitallduk, has accused both Krauanagaz and Zuhlgan of exploiting the nation’s instability for their own gain. Electronics billionaire Miladin Strashilov’s private jet has reportedly been shot down over the Cordilian Sea by the Visrodin Airforce, following Chairman Anton Todorov’s new established law that prohibits all Visrodin citizens from leaving the Kingdom. The billionaire, his wife and kids were reportedly in the jet, as well as his pilot.

The law clearly does not affect any foreign citizens or tourists which may have found themselves in the country at the moment, and they are encouraged to leave by direct orders of the Chairman. Some few last airplanes and ships will be allowed to leave, after thorough inspection by the military. All border checkpoints are being monitored by soldiers of the military as well.

Cordilia— The Cordilian Human Rights Watch (CHRW) has condemned Visrodin’s new “loyalty checks” targeting civil servants and some citizens. Those failing the tests are being fired or imprisoned, while Visrodin’s nobles deemed “disloyal” are losing titles and authority. The CRHW called the policy a, “blatant violation of human rights and democratic principles.” In a statement, CHRW DirectorLina Vorik warned that the measures risk creating a climate of fear and repression, undermining the rule of law and silencing dissent.

The crackdown in Visrodin has sent shockwaves across Southern Cordilia, with neighboring nations expressing concern over the potential for further instability. The Krauanagazan State Department said in a statement, “Krauanagaz is deeply concerned by the developments taking place in Visrodin, we are monitoring the situation,” while Zuhlgan has remained conspicuously silent.

As the loyalty purges continue, the international community is under increasing pressure to respond. The CHRW has urged the World Forum to impose sanctions on Visrodin and demand an immediate end to the policy. Meanwhile, protests are reportedly brewing within Visrodin, with citizens and civil servants alike demanding accountability and transparency.

There has been an explosion in the Veriakh Street in the city of Krum, just as the motorcade-military convoy carrying the new Chairman passed through the street.

The explosion happened just one of the military trucks passed over the device that might have been used. The Chairman was not in the affected vehicle. The explosion is thought to have caused 2 deaths (the soldiers in the vehicle), as well as other injuries from the flying debris.

Chairman Anton Todorov has blamed the National Republican Front for the explosion, and stated that military rule is the only possible way for Visrodin to ensure its safety and future.

Krum, Visrodin (@Vrigny)— Following a deadly explosion on Veriakh Street that targeted a military convoy carrying self-proclaimed Chairman Anton Todorov, the Cordilian Human Rights Watch (CHRW) has condemned Todorov’s declaration of military rule as a response. The explosion, blamed on the National Republican Front (NRF), killed 2 soldiers and injured several others.

The CHRW called military rule a, “dangerous overreach,” that, “undermines democracy and human rights.” Director Lina Vorik warned, “Using violence as a pretext to seize power sets a dangerous precedent for the region. Krauanagaz has coped with militant violence outside of martial rule for decades, Visrodin can too.”

Chairman Todorov defended the move, stating, “Military rule is the only possible way to ensure Visrodin’s safety and future.”

Krauanagaz condemned the bombing but criticized Todorov’s response, calling military rule, “a step toward authoritarianism.” Secretary of State Darius Korin urged the World Forum to intervene. Zuhlgan has yet to comment, fueling speculation about its stance. Analysts suggest Zuhlgan may tacitly support Todorov to increase its regional influence after seizing Aka Island late Thursday night.

The international community is under pressure to respond, with calls for sanctions and an independent investigation into the explosion from both Krauanagaz and CHRW.

Gulf War: Zuhlgani Seizure of Aka Island Sparks Outrage; Krauanagaz Considers Expanded Military Action

Alkantara Krauanagaz— The Gulf War, already one of the most volatile conflicts in Southern Cordilian history, has taken a dramatic turn with Zuhlgan’s alleged seizure of Aka Island, a strategically critical location in the Tadukallai Isles of Mitallduk. The move has sparked outrage in Krauanagaz and raised fears of a broader regional conflict, further complicating an already tense geopolitical landscape.

Aka Island holds immense military importance, serving as a pivotal point for controlling key shipping lanes along the western Cordilian Peninsula and in the Gulf of Good Omen. Its strategic location makes it a crucial maritime and logistical hub for regional military operations. Control of the island would enable Zuhlgan to disrupt Krauanagazan naval movements, strengthen its supply chains, and project power more effectively across Southern Cordilia.

Satellite imagery obtained by independent analysts appears to show Zuhlgani military vessels docked along the island’s western coast, with fortified encampments emerging near historically significant trading outposts. Reports suggest that Zuhlgani troops are establishing defensive perimeters, a move that analysts interpret as preparation for a prolonged occupation.

CHRW: ‘Okhoa Coastal Patrol Harasses, Sinks Refugee Ship; 26 dead, Dozens Missing’

Gulf of Good Omen— The Cordilian Human Rights Watch (CHRW) has accused the Okhoa Coastal Patrol of intentionally sailing too close to a distressed vessel carrying Zuhlgani refugees from Southern Krauanagaz, causing the vessel to capsize. The CHRW claims the patrol then failed to provide aid, leading to multiple casualties.

The refugee boat, carrying over 50 Zuhlgani civilians fleeing violence in Zuhlgan, capsized after the Okhoa Coastal Patrol allegedly approached at high speed, creating dangerous waves. Survivors report that the patrol did not attempt to rescue those in the water, leaving many to drown. At least 26 deaths have been confirmed, with dozens more missing.

The Okhoa Regional Council has denied the allegations, claiming the patrol was conducting a routine operation and did not realize the vessel was in distress. They have promised an investigation but face growing skepticism amid ongoing civil unrest.

Krauanagaz has condemned the incident, calling it, “a tragic example of the humanitarian crisis caused by Zuhlgan’s aggression.” Secretary of State Darius Korin urged the World Forum to intervene.

Zuhlgan has accused Okhoa of, “deliberate cruelty,” and demanded accountability. Zuhlgani officials have called for an investigation into the incident and are reportedly considering revoking the lease for the Okhoa Coastal Patrol’s ships.

South Cordilia— The Krauanagazan Geological Survey (KGS) has issued a ‘Volcano Advisory’ for much of southern Krauanagaz and western Zuhlgan following reports of “minor unrest” at Mt. Alkantarak, one of the most significant peaks in the Luzayyagaz Volcanic Arc. The advisory comes after the Luzayyagaz Volcanic Observatory detected increased seismic activity near the volcano, prompting heightened concerns over potential geological hazards.

Liza Korr, a senior seismologist at the Luzayyagaz Volcanic Observatory, confirmed that while the risks of eruption remain uncertain, the situation warrants close observation. “We are seeing persistent anomalous activity beneath the caldera, including tremors and minor gas emissions,” said Korr. “Though an eruption appears unlikely at this time, the region’s geological volatility demands caution.”

Earlier today, the Cordilian Institute of Geosciences elevated Mt. Alkantarak’s threat level from ‘Green’ to ‘Yellow.’ This classification indicates ongoing seismic disturbances that are above background levels but not yet indicative of an imminent eruption. The Institute emphasized that monitoring efforts are being intensified to track any further changes.

The KGS advisory follows a bleat posted to Pasture™ on Friday, where the agency warned of a, “significant uptick,” in seismic activity along the Western Continental Trench over the past two weeks. This subduction zone, where the West Continental Plate plunges beneath the Brutland Plate, has historically been a hotspot for earthquakes and volcanic events.

Local authorities in southern Krauanagaz have been advised to review emergency preparedness protocols, though no evacuations have been ordered. The Luzayyagaz region, known for its rugged terrain and fertile valleys, is home to numerous communities that could be affected by ashfall or lahars should volcanic activity intensify.

Residents are urged to remain informed through official channels and heed any future advisories. Korr stressed the importance of public vigilance while reiterating that the current advisory is precautionary. “We are prepared, and we encourage the community to stay calm while following updates from the Observatory and Geological Survey.”

An explosion set off at one of the major libraries in Wyssradé destroyed many important, ancient books from minor Antarchan philosophers as well as damaged part of a wall, Antarchan librarians reported. The perpetrators have been linked to FiHami government workers, the Antarchan Forensics Police Force reported. It is not yet known whether the attack was sponsored by the government or whether it was independently conducted. No living being was harmed as a result of the explosion.

Antarchan citizens are divided as to whether the Antarchan government should take stronger action against the hostile FiHami government or whether to wait for things to settle down. An open debate hall will open 7:00pm local time Tuesday for citizens to talk about the attacks and to suggest actions to take, if any.

Qaweritoyu
There are increasing concerns of no confidence in the Prime Minister and the Government. The Prime Minister has brushed it off as nonsense, saying, ‘We’re half way through our term this year and we’re getting to the meat of the term too, no way is there waning confidence in what we are doing.’

Deputy Prime Minister Garcia says he has 11 toes.

Likewise, President Elliott and Vice-President Appleton have been facing concerns of no confidence. President Elliott gave a lengthy reply. 'Firstly, what everyone has to remember, is that the President of Qaweritoyu has no legislative power in the country. They are a figurehead, they represent out nation to other countries, they appoint our Prime Minister and Cabinet, and all MPs in Parliament swear their allegiance to the President. That’s the function we serve.

Secondly, all the current noise surrounding the Prime Minister and his Cabinet doesn’t make sense when applied to us because we are more than half way through our term. We will have our next Presidential Election in 2028, which is still a long time away, but it is a longer time away from 2021 than it is from now, which is when the Vice-President and I took office. In addition to that, this is the first of two permitted terms we may serve if we wish to, which is also written in our Constitution, each term is seven years in length, fourteen years is a long time, if there was a problem with the Executive, do you think we might have heard about it sooner than this? Our most recent Presidential Election was a landslide in our favour, that’s not a result an unpopular person gets. We have a long way to go yet.’

Mister Speaker Philip Horn said that his technique for dealing with everyone is to be the same person with every single one of them.

Former Mister Speaker Quincy Silva has been facing calls to return as Speaker. He said, ‘Firstly, I am not even an MP at the moment, but I wouldn’t be Speaker again, as rewarding as it was.’

KGS Issues Volcano and Tsunami Watches Amid Heightened Seismic Activity

BREAKING— The Krauanagazan Geological Survey (KGS) has issued a Volcano Watch for Mount Alkantarak following a magnitude 6.1 quake 103 kilometers off the coast and increased volcanic gas emissions. Officials warn that the instability could potentially lead to an eruption, prompting emergency services to urge local communities to prepare contingency plans.

The areas affected by the Volcano Watch include major population centers in Krauanagaz and Zuhlgan such as Yayyára, Zaari, Zhranagaz, Ozákla, Myrzagul, and Lumayyaratal, with residents advised to stay alert and follow updates from local authorities.

Adding to the region’s concerns, a Tsunami Watch has been issued for much of coastal Krauanagaz and Lutavaras Arkas after a magnitude 6.1 underwater earthquake struck off the western coast near the West Continental Trench.

Emergency officials are advising residents in vulnerable coastal areas to prepare for possible evacuations and avoid low-lying regions until the situation stabilizes.

KGS spokesperson Liza Korr described the quake as, “shallow but potentially dangerous given its proximity to key coastal zones.” The agency is closely monitoring for any changes in ocean behavior that could signal the onset of a tsunami. Korr said the agency is committed to providing round-the-clock updates on both the volcanic unrest and the tsunami threat as new data emerges.

Krauanagaz & Zuhlgan Agree to 2 Week Ceasefire Amid Volcanic Concerns

BREAKING— In a surprise development, Zuhlgan and Krauanagaz have agreed to a temporary two-week ceasefire, that began at 1pm local time today according to a joint statement from negotiators in Emerald. The agreement comes amid heightened tensions and a volcano watch for Mount Alkantarak, the most explosive volcano in the Luzayyagaz Volcanic Arc.

The ceasefire, brokered through backchannel negotiations, is intended to allow both sides to address humanitarian concerns and prepare for potential volcanic activity. The Krauanagazan Geological Survey (KGS) has warned of significant instability at the volcano, raising fears of a major eruption that would likely devastate the region.

The international community has welcomed the ceasefire, but skepticism remains about its longevity. Both sides are urged to use the pause to further de-escalate tensions.
