Zuhlgan Agrees to Referendum on Political Status of Okhoa Territory

BREAKING— Despite significant opposition from hardline elements, Arkava Ibinete IV, the leader of the Holy Dominion of Zuhlgan, has agreed to the demands of militants in the Okhoa Protectorate, signaling a potential shift in Zuhlgan’s stance on the contested territory. The government has confirmed that it will hold a referendum on the political status of the Okhoa Protectorate, which has been under the rule of various colonial regimes for centuries.

This announcement comes after weeks of escalating violence and insurgent attacks by groups advocating for Okhoa independence. The militants have called for self-determination, accusing Zuhlgan of exploiting Okhoa’s resources and suppressing the local population’s cultural and political rights. Despite ongoing military campaigns aimed at quelling the unrest, the conflict has reached a critical point, forcing Zuhlgan to the negotiating table.

In a rare televised statement, Arkava Ibinete IV said, “The Holy Dominion recognizes the importance of peace and stability in the Okhoa Protectorate. We are committed to resolving this issue in a manner that respects the wishes of the people while preserving the security and unity of our nation.”

However, the decision to hold the referendum has sparked intense debate within Zuhlgan’s leadership. Hardline factions within the Dominion have condemned the move, accusing the government of capitulating to militant pressure. Some military leaders and conservative elements have warned that the referendum could embolden separatist movements elsewhere within Zuhlgan’s territory.

As the situation develops, international observers, including Emerald, Krauanagaz, and the World Forum, are closely monitoring the preparations for the referendum, fearing that any missteps could trigger further unrest in the territory.

Draconic Media (Vrignyan State TV):

BREAKING: After a warranted entrance by the VISD into the main property of the “Final Day Judges” religious organization, 13 members, as well as its leader, have been found dead in what appears to be a sacrificial ritual.

The VISD had been called as a reinforcement by local police in Aren, where the property is located, after several months of tax evasion by the leader of the ‘cult’, Alan Juren. Unlike in other countries, all religious organizations in Vrigny are subject to property and other additional taxes, and it wasn’t any different for the “Final Day Judges”.

It is unclear what the close and limited religious organization believed in, as any religious scripture found in the property was burned as part of the ritual, and it is believed that all members of the organization have partaken in such ritual. Relatives of the deceased had expressed worries about their family being manipulated by Alan Juren.

Juren had managed to accumulate quite an impressive amount of wealth, basically by manipulating these “members” of his cult. However, he and his religious organization eventually ended up with a large debt and instead of declaring bankruptcy or disbanding the organization, he decided to keep going without paying any taxes until the police finally got their hands ready to prosecute him. It was too late, as 13 innocent lives were claimed by Alan Juren in the process of “wrapping up his cult”.

NaGB Accuses Krauanagaz of Deadly Attack on Commercial Vessel in Transcrabrian Sea

BREAKING— The government of Nicholas and Great Britain (NaGB) has accused the Krauanagazan Navy of firing on one of its commercial ships in the Transcrabrian Sea. The NaGB ship, reportedly transporting munitions to Zuhlgan following their new trade deal, came under what NaGb described as heavy fire early this morning, resulting in severe damage to the vessel and a fire that broke out in the engine room.

NaGB officials have confirmed that three crew members were killed in the incident, with 14 others injured as they struggled to contain the blaze. The fire has since been extinguished, but the ship, identified as the Obsidian, sustained significant damage, and it remains stranded in the Transcrabrian pending recovery efforts according to NaGB.

Pyhdon-Falistrica does the same, and shouts at who sent that missile

In Aberstopia, it has become illegal to display the Nicholas and Great British flag in public. This decision is unpopular in the areas of the south west of the country where the population is predominantly Britolasian. These areas were once part of Nicholas and Great Britain before they had to be conceded to Aberstopia following a war.

In Pyhdon-Falistrica, it also became illegal to promote NAGB flags for an unknown reason

RAFI(30092024)

H.E. Turner’s Akarina precedence before the Royal and Supreme Court of Nasphilitae against Aberstopia; Pyhdon-Falistrica condemned

→ Precedence set by Nasphilitae’s High Ambassador to Austra (H.E. Turner), in which a classified document was delivered to Nasphilitae, warning of “a re-emergent threat thought to be dead”. Upon investigation, Nasphilitae had permanently closed all relations with Akarina.
→ There are somewhat public discussions among the Head of Government (Syd G Patton), Head of State and Grand Duke (Dawson Ernst), and the Judiciary over whether this precedence applies to Aberstopia as well, while Pyhdon-Falistrica ( @riditekhstudios ) had just been condemned.

Tripartite Negotiations

Although the Tripartite negotiations with UOT-NGB have concluded, it remains unknown what was decided to be done. The general domestic public speculates that the AID approach of infiltration has been chosen.
The Grand Duke and Head of State of Nasphilitae, Dawson Ernst has publicly condemned both the cooperation of NAGB (@Nicholas ) and Zuhlgan (@Kobegr01 ), as well as the attack on NAGB vessels:
“The two countries are under sanctions and it’s therefore natural for them to trade with one another. However, I must exercise restraint in equating the two regimes, as the NAGB is fighting against terrorist separatists regardless which regime it is currently ruled by.”

Airstrike in the Gulf of Kringalia

→ The Royal Armed Forces, which have been patrolling international waters around NAGB since the August protests, have open fire on unflagged cargo shipment after they refused to identify themselves.
→ Mj. Hughes of the Airforce had justified this first act of aggression in the history of Nasphilitae since independence by stating that it is preventing “Romordian terrorists from receiving weapons”. Mj. Hughes statements were later confirmed by AID Department Ten.

Political Party polling in Nasphilitae shows increased support for the ADLA coalition

→ Recent polling suggests a plummeting of general support for CGC and SVDP, which now remain at a mere 2.5% and 3% respectively.
→ Opportunity Party is still leading in popularity, at around 23%, followed by ruling “The Center” party at 20%. UML and NNP increased support of 15% and 17% remain unchanged, while NNP rivalling SRP has dropped to 8%.
→ Support for CGC’s rival, “The ADLA” led by Jonas Val, has seen steady growth since the elections and is now estimated to have surpassed UML yet behind NNP at 16%.

In a statement the Krauanagazan Defense Department claimed the ship was transporting, “highly sensitive military materials,” to Zuhlgan. Krauanagaz has not yet offered evidence to support their claims.

NaGB has called the attack, "an unprovoked and egregious act of aggression. " The attack on the commercial ship killed 3 of its crew and injured 14.

This is a developing story.

OOC: Akarina is owned by @isurvivedurm0m

Alcoalitania has placed sanctions on Pyhdon, Krauanagaz, NAGB, and Zhulgan due to increasing conflicts in Southern Cordilia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that “This conflict is and will always be a stalemate. The governments of all nations that we have placed sanctions on need to take action to negotiate a ceasefire between all parties.”

Long-time head journalist Nadia Kassab of the Free Media of Alcoalitania, also a notorious critic of “literally all governments” has criticized Pyhdon’s mismanagement of missiles, adding that “Pyhdon’s president is a funny excuse of a politician”. Nadia added that responding to the conflict with a missile is a “great and unnecessary escalation to the war, which will only bring more terror to the people of the targeted nation”.

Nadia also condemned all nations that responded to this with a humorous tone, as the missile reportedly killed thousands; “People are joking about this, but what about the people that died? What about the damages done to the building? The people’s response to this was very ignorant”.

Nicholas and Great Britain makes a formal apology to West Romordia for the events that took place in 2021, where many West Romordian civilians were interrogated and tortured for being suspected of being rebels. The events led to Izaakia invading Nicholas and Great Britain and West Romordia’s independence before they got invaded by NaGB for supporting terrorists some time later. Whilst West Romordian and certain NaGB politicians were pleased with the apology, it is unpopular amongst more hardline Socialist Nationalist Party politicians, with one MP calling Supreme Leader Nicholas McGregor “weak” and “a coward.”
