The Marica Navy, also known as the Marica Liberation Navy, has announced the launch of a new nuclear powered aircraft carrier. The launch is set to occur in a week, which the MLN will immediatly deploy to the Gulf of Good Omen as a support aircraft carrier to the SMN Yirkshire (A 3rd Class Aircraft Carrier).

BREAKING— Sources inside the Krauanagzan Defense Department report that a, “full-scale naval engagement,” is underway in the Gulf of Good Omen. According to reports Krauanagaz and Emerald forces are clashing with Zuhlgani warships in the largest confrontation of the conflict to date. Initial reports confirm that several vessels on both sides have sustained significant damage, and the battle continues to escalate.

The largest naval battle of the Gulf conflict continues into its second day as Krauanagazan and Emeraldian forces remain locked in fierce combat with Zuhlgani warships in the Gulf of Good Omen. The Krauanagazan Defense Department reported that, despite sustaining significant losses, Krauanagazan and Emeraldian forces have inflicted considerable damage on the Zuhlgani navy.

Kalaki has started preparing delivery of AWA-Orca Port Defense Systems, and GAD-99-2 Air Dfense Systems for Krauanagaz, in order to reestablish Southern Krauanagaz’s economy to a more stable state. San Marsico also approved delivery of M2-5 Savtiks to Krauanagaz’s Air Forces, “For now, we cannot approve of attacking Zulghan Forces on Zhulgani soil using the M2-5, but we’ll be discussing this with Triangle Alliance members.”

The President of Pyhdon-Falistrica has made a statement on the ongoing insurgency and violation of Krauanagaz by Zughlan, and the entirity of the Gulf War.
President Dr. Bazsen Saleem Muhammad Al-Gassam said: "Pyhdon-Falistrica condemns Zughlan, and stands in solidarity with ours and Frastinia’s allies, Kraunagaz and Emerald. The harrowing evidence unleashed through the leaked documents reveal the dangerous and threatening alliances made between Zughlan and terrorist alliances such as the Red K is crumbling and shattering the safety and security of Cordilia. Their reckless actions, from the apparent attack on the ERNS Jylland II to the cyber warfare held against the Krauanagaz infrastructure aiming to destabilise the country must not go unchallenged. We call upon the international community to impose sanctions on Zughlan and support the efforts of the Krauanagaz and Emeraldian people. We also support the defensive measures taken by the governemnts of these two countries.
The displacement of the people of Milltaduk and the surrounding regions requires immediate Humanitarian attention and Support. Pyhdon-Falistrica is prepared to provide financial and logistical aid to adress the growing refugee crisis. We will advocate for an immediate cease to the fighting and a working treaty, for the nations affected by the Zughlani agression, and for Zughlan to have to pay a price for any of the acts that took place in the past month of Ramadan. Our commitment to peace is unwavering, but we will need the support of the international public, and we will not hesitate in supporting our allies in a trying time like this.
Overall, we need to make sure that this conflict stops and there is not a conflict on Cordilia again. Thank you."

In response to Phydon-Falistra’s response to the Gulf War, the Triangle Alliance has imposed sanctions on Zulghan-related products, and frozen assets on companies related to Zulghan.
The Marica Liberation Air Force has sent 3 MAF-J10 Fighter Jets to Krauanagaz’s Air Forces, like San Marsico, they have not yet decided whether or not to directly strike Zulghan targets on Zulghani soil.
“This man cannot be Ha’Coron’ because he does not believe in the Finixi religion!”
High Priest Huahasi has come out to speak against Acting Chief Benjamin Harris taking the position after Acting Chief Hana Pua’Shi sacrificed herself after a train derailed along a mountainous pass last week.
“The Ha’Coron’ is to be the leader that guides the Finixi people, not some atheist male who cannot properly conduct ceremonies because he does not know our culture. This man cannot be Ha’Coron’ because he does not believe in the Finixi religion!”
Acting Chief Benjamin Harris responded to the allegations.
“I may not be a religious man, but that does not mean I cannot be a stand-in leader for the people of FiHami and continue advocating for the separation of religion and government in FiHami.”

The Izaakian Autumn Budget has failed to be passed in Parliament after the Blancist faction of the Liberal Party voted against the bill due to what’s perceived as weakness by the government on security and defence. Montwælda Rombold is expected to meet with the rebels at the Orangery with Vice President Lando Hamilton mediating as a neutral party.
Failure to pass the budget has triggered a constitutional mechanism that means the Government has 6 weeks to pass a new budget, or call a general election.,

Pyhdon is working on an initiative to stop the current war in the southern regions of Cordilia after this speech, and is aiming to have the orders and the resolution up for vote by the 3rd of Shawwal (3rd October irl)
The Blancist faction of the liberal party are understood to have demanded 3 senior cabinet positions in return for their support on the budget. Those positions are believed to be Foreign Minister, Defence Minister and Home Secretary. Montwælda Rombold is meeting with senior party officials to discuss his options,

Pyro-Falistric in Terror as Missile from Base in Al-Adhan Cherkhyre hits Malheureuesement Bank
Malheureuesement- A missile ripped through the sky at 4 am in the morning, hitting Malheureuesement Bank right at the start of the day. Officials say they cannot find out who caused this lapse of security, but the missile was ordered from somewhere in Al-Adhan Cherkhyre. Who could do this? Stay tuned.
UPDATE
It seems that the president did this, and was aiming it for Nicholas and Great Britain, although had a mouse-slip at the last second. He said:
“I am deeply sorry for what happened in Malheuereusement, it was a mistake, and it won’t happen again. But to NaGB and Zughlan, remember. This missile and a lot more was aimed for you, so be ready… or not”

Montwælda agrees to reshuffle the cabinet to meet Blancist faction demands, and agrees to concessions with the Green Party on environmental policy in order to pass the autumn budget.
Out of the government goes former WF Speaker Noor Aqaba the foreign secretary, Philomena Beaufort the Home Secretary and Ekaterina Künning the Minister of defence.
The incoming ministers are:
Noah Vosen the Governor of Vinlandia as the Home Secretary. He had recently received plaudits for his work containing the ALF and Terra Firma in his region after being victim to a bombing attempt.
Scarlett Blanc as Foreign Secretary, she is the elder sister of the former President Stella Blanc. She previously held the role of Intelligence Section Chief stationed in Izaakias former embassy in N&GB, before coming an MP in the 2021 elections.
Ezra Black as Defence Minister, formerly Commander of the Royal Highland Regiment where he was known as the Butcher, he has since gained a reputation for effective leadership and administration of government departments in the MoD where he’s served as a junior minister.
The three incoming minsters are seen as hawkish on security and defence, and a more active and interventionist foreign policy is expected to emerge due to their arrival.

Supreme Leader Nicholas McGregor allegedly got into hysteric laughter after hearing the news that Pyhdon-Falistrica had accidentally fired a missile at their own city.
For some currently unknown reason, there has been no official international response from Nicholas and Great Britain but the military is on high alert and a travel ban has been put in place on Pyhdon-Falistrica.

World Forum Confirms Zuhlgan Has Disabled Nuclear Warheads, But Retained Warhead Cores
BREAKING— The World Forum has independently confirmed Zuhlgan’s claims that they have successfully disabled the nuclear warheads previously targeted during the ongoing Gulf conflict. However, Zuhlgan has stated that they will not agree to surrender the two cores from the warheads at this time, raising concerns over the potential for continued escalation.
Acting Chief Benjamin Harris came out with a statement regardingCoron’shi Finix Fi’Shi this morning.
“I get the fact that a random toddler fell out of the sky, that does mean that per the Finixi religion, the child is to be the leader of the Finixi people. But this can’t be the great Ha’Coron’ Finix Fi’Shi. There were thousands witnessing her death all those years ago. This child who fell from the sky cannot be forced through the brainwashing that the Finixi priesthood is forcing her through, civilized countries would call this child abuse.”
The Acting Chief has called into question the safety of Coron’shi in the custody of the Temple of Ha’Hani, citing numerous studies showing the effects of cult brainwashing on children. The Temple of Ha’Hani issued a statement following the challenge.
“We can assure the temporary head of state and the rest of FiHami that the Coron’Shi is being adequately cared for and there is no reason to even begin to accuse the Temple of Ha’Hani of mistreating the Great Ha’Coron’ herself. Calling upon FiHami’s great Youth Protection Agency to investigate the Temple of Ha’Hani is a grievous waste of resources that could go to help children in actual danger.”

‘Stick to Spears’: Zuhlgan Mocks Pyhdon After Failed Missile Attack
In a sharply worded and mocking response, the government of the Holy Dominion of Zuhlgan has reacted to the failed missile attack on its ally by Pyhdon. The missile, aimed at Nicholas and Great Britain (NaGB), a close ally of Zuhlgan’s, was misdirected and crashed into Pyhdon’s own territory.
Zuhlgan’s Foreign Affairs chief, Kula H’kara, did not hold back when addressing the incident during a press briefing this morning. “It seems our friends in Pyhdon have yet to master the complexities of modern warfare. Perhaps they should stick to what they know best— spears and shields,” H’kara quipped with a smirk. “I must say, if the goal was to show the world how not to launch a missile, they have succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest expectations.”

Prime Minister Mistik Volo broke out into laughter during an online interview with the Daily Penguin when asked about the accident in Pyhdon-Falistrica. “Although they are one of our allies, it’s still pretty hilarious to see a nation like Pyhdon-Falistrica doing a tutorial on ‘How to NOT launch a missile correctly at your enemy,’” he joked “It definitely looks like we need to teach them a lesson how to launch a missile correctly.”
