The Termina Commerce Guild and the City-state of Okeanos have agreed on a tentative deal after weeks of tense negotiations between the two sides. Critics of the deal have called it a no win compromise, but agreed to abide by the terms.
In exchange for the release of the medical shipments Clocktown, Okeanos will agree to pay the guild and Clocktown 150 million Terminan Dollars in reparations, but Clocktown will agree to pay a 5% increase to Okeanos’ transit fee. Most surprising was the TCG’s agreement to drop its stalled bid to dissolve Terra Firma Agronomics and pursue criminal charges against Percy Le Rogue, a move firmly denounced by officials from Vexen Village, Higurashi and other members of the Pro-Entente faction.
Yayyára Court Postpones Crucial SNAP Vote to July 20 Amid Legal Battles; Capital District Court to Rule on Legality of Date Change
BREAKING— The Yayyára Federal District Court has postponed the SNAP election, initially scheduled for July 6, to July 20 to ensure voter awareness and establish provisional polling stations in areas with increased population due to Krauanagazans being forced Northward.
During the initial hearings, attorneys for the opposition presented a robust case, arguing that the expedited election process violates several constitutional principles and undermines democratic integrity. They cited concerns over inadequate time for candidate preparation and voter education, potentially disenfranchising large segments of the electorate. While attorneys for Lor’nai’da Intaín argued that holding the election as soon as possible would ensure political stability and allow the government to address urgent national issues more effectively, they also highlighted the need to restore public confidence in the democratic process by quickly resolving the current political impasse. However, LI’s arguments fell flat with the court, as they ruled to postpone the election until July 20.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed concerns over the TCG’s decision to drop the charges against Percy Le Rogue, considering that he admitted to terrorism. While it is true that much of the sentiment against Izaakia interfering in Terminan affairs in Kliegme has diminished after the admittance of Percy Le Rogue, this public expression of concern is considered by political observers to be a sort of Olive Branch to Izaakia, whose relations with Kliegme has severely deteriorated after Kliegme’s ascension to the CE and disagreements over the Terminan situation. Nonetheless, the wording of the statement was quite toned down in order to not raise unnecessary tensions with Termina or make it feel like Kliegme was acting confrontational to Termina, as Termina is still an important partner to Kliegme.
In other news, the Immortal Regiments and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have co-approved the Frost Empire’s list of delegates to the Victory Day Celebrations. Head of the Immortal Regiments Yeongjin Choi, son of Myeongshin Choi, the legendary United Front General responsible for the victory in the Battle of Vremyansk, and a war veteran himself, has publicly welcomed the decision of Frost War veterans to join the celebrations, stating that there is nothing to stop them(both Frost and Kliegmean Veterans) from mending old wounds and seeing each other eye to eye despite the not so-ideal circumstances in which they have first met.

Seasonal Maelo Pukek Festival Takes Place in the city of Biduak Pincalang
Seasonal Festival of “Maelo Pukek” takes place in the capital of the cultural Luhak Bungo; Biduak Pincalang, which is still the national capital.
Maelo Pukek itstof is a tradition on which many fishermen cast their big shared net together in the sea and pull it all over to the coast in order to get fish to sell or eat, and for the believers of folk religion, serve it to the gods.
Fishermen from all clans from all three Luhaks gather upon the beach of Puruih, due to the waves and bad weather, the fishermen can only throw and pull their nets twice. Fishermen start to cast their net at 24 km from the coastline.
Maelo Pukek has successfully attracted a lot of tourists domestically and internationally. In order to support tourism, tourists are given a special experience by having their own parts of the coast for casting and pulling the net with harvests shared among them and their fishermen tour guides as a sign of gratitude and tip.
The event is closed by a concert of local pop and folk stars and the mass dance to the song of “Indang Manari” and “Badindin”. The next Maelo Pukek event will be held at Luhak Langkisau, at the city of Asaurang. The government and locals aims to profit as much as possible from fishing profit and tourist activities relating to it.

Mister Speaker Philip Horn has told the Modern Marxist Party that it was a risk to elect Cecil Walton as their leader at the time they did due to his packed and busy schedule. The Speaker noted that the Prime Minister was one of the busiest politicians in the world before becoming a Party Leader, nevermind Prime Minister, and he said that the Government and Parliament are now starting to feel the weight of his absence, as it happens so frequently. The Speaker did not blame the Modern Marxist Party, the Government or the Prime Minister for any of these knock-on effects but he did say that the next time the Leadership is vacant, members need to think more carefully about who they elect as Leader. It needs to be someone ‘who has time’ to run the country.

Protecting Paradise: Lutavaras Arkas Cracks Down on Combustion Engine Watercraft
Panata, Lutavaras Arkas— The governor of Lutavaras Arkas has signed a bill into law that bans combustion engine watercraft in hundreds of kilometers of the inner channels of the province’s eight islands. This landmark legislation aims to protect the delicate marine ecosystems and promote sustainable tourism in the region.
The new law, which will take effect in six months, prohibits the use of all combustion engine watercraft in designated areas, covering the inner channels that weave through the archipelago. These areas are home to a diverse array of marine life, including endangered species and vital coral reefs that have been increasingly threatened by pollution and noise from motorized boats.
Governor Arajo Sen spoke at the signing ceremony, highlighting the importance of this measure for the preservation of the province’s natural beauty and biodiversity. “This legislation is a crucial step towards safeguarding our marine environments and promoting eco-friendly practices. By banning combustion engine watercraft in these sensitive areas, we are committing to a cleaner, more sustainable future for Lutavaras Arkas.”
According to Firestian military sources, the first and primary Stukk line of defense has finally been broken through by several Firestian infantry and armored vehicle regiments. With the remaining Stukk lines of defense already weakened by the constant Firestian air strikes and artillery bombardment (in a lesser degree), it seems that the conflict is finally going to lead to the first major changes in the Firest-Aldestukk border since the start of the Aldestukk trench and fortification strategy, which started 8 years ago after its defeat in Firestian lands.
A status of disarray has supposedly struck the Stukk army, as high command is accusing themselves for the failure of the “Gristxi Line”, which had been marked as completely impregnable during its 8 years of development. Other commanders in the Stukk army have blamed the high command for a bad distribution of Stukk manpower across the frontline with Firest, saying that there are too many Stukk soldiers at the shores of the Kresben and Uriren rivers, which would be practically impossible to cross for the Firestian Army, a detail which made the location of its current attacks obvious.
With this chaos in the Stukk army that’s on the active part of the frontline, many Stukk regiments have fled to the dense Gris forest in a conspicuous manner, which has allowed Firestian reconnaissance to learn about the forest’s dangerous status. Several air strikes with incendiary bombs have already been carried out against supposed military targets within the forest, which have also started several large forest fires; large enough to be seen from space and the smoke might even reach neighboring Alcoalitania.
Yayyára, Krauanagaz— The Krauanagazan State Department has released a statement condemning Firest’s wanton attacks on Aldestukk, and Stukk retaliatory strikes that reportedly killed civilians in Firest. Secretary of State, Darius Korin, expressed concern over the rapidly escalating conflict and called for, “cool, calm, and collected,” solutions to any disagreements.
Krauanaet Zharan has stated that he believes an immediate ceasefire would be the best course of action for everyone in the region, emphasizing that Krauanagaz doesn’t want to see chaos and war proliferate throughout Pacifica.

Biduak Pincalang Left in Shambles After Storm Hits
Following the festival of Maelo Pukek, a storm that had been forecasted hit Minangrayo’s capital city Biduak Pincalang causing severe damages to the city. The storm forecast also made the Maelo Pukek festival the day before end earlier than it supposed to.
The storm hits Biduak Pincalang at around 3:15 pm before it ended on 7:15 pm (3/7/2024). Houses made from bamboo, wooden boards, and zinc experienced heavy damages. Fragile parts like roofs and windows have been broken in most houses. Many plants are also uprooted and some trees fall down to the road.
"This is the heaviest storm that hit this city since the year 1984. Scoring level 10 on the Beaugort scale. " says meteorologist Langkisau Kayuaro (42). He then explains that Typhoons usually “attack” the seas southeast of Minangrayo, but they usually arrive in the mainland in the form of a gale. Due to climate change, he also explains that Biduak Pincalang needs a better disaster mitigation system since a typhoon may actually hit Biduak Pincalang in the future.
Huge waves also hit the coast of Biduak Pincalang and caused heavy flooding all over the city, causing 12 people to lost their lives, adding to the 68 people that lost their lives on the storm alone. Transport is heavily damaged and fishermen voluntarily use their boats to help evacuate people from the city to higher lands. Tourists are given boats by the government and resorts to evacuate from the city too. Out of the 80 casualties, at least 32 people are still missing.
Civilian activities are heavily disrupted by the storm as what these people said, "We are now forced to live here in tents, and we can’t access our homes for at least a week or two unless we have belongings to search. " Saidah Nurjannah Sibungo (84) said to our reporter. A fisherman named Rustam Pukek (62) said “All fishes from Maelo Pukek are gone by the flood! How will i feed my family and save money for my family when i have to use my boat for transport and nothing left here?”. Civilian activities are heavily disrupted by the storm.
The government aims to fix damages as soon as the flood ends, “We can’t let damages last long, we must rebuild what’s broken as soon as possible.” Said Datuak Garudo Rajobungo “Nan Rancak” (72), the leader of Luhak Bungo as he evacuates with his family to Nagari Kalikih, where all three Luhaks will discuss on how to fix damages caused by the storm. "There has been $2,46 billion in damages and the restoration process would require an additional $386 million which in total is more than 2% of our annual GDP. " Said Tanggang Aiabukiak (32), an economist. “Civilian activities can recover within 3-6 weeks but for the city to be restored as it was before the storm requires 3-5 months.” Said Malin Timbago (26), a young foreman in a construction company working with the government.

The Minister for Infrastructures, Gera (G), and the Minister for Energy Dr. Dref have both announced their intent to push the Bahn 2030 financing through the Sænat before the summer break in August. Several employees of both ministries have said that the financing could possibly be achieved by an special fund outside of the Budget, making it safer from negotiations. This would require a change of the federal law regulating expenses outside of budgets, which are only permissible in extraordinary cases by the constitution. However, both ministers are part of a group of the Greens calling for a reform of the constitution to add improving critical infrastructure as a viable need. The ministry of Finance has declined to comment at this moment, stating “internal discussion will be led to solve this problem.”
Ta’ana Falls to TPA: ‘There is no food, no water. We are just trying to survive one day at a time.’
In a devastating turn of events, the Mitallduk Defense Force (MDF) is on the verge of collapse under relentless pressure from the Takaran People’s Army (TPA) and other insurgent factions. The capital city, Ta’ana, has fallen under TPA control, leading to a power vacuum and widespread chaos across the nation.
For weeks, the MDF has been engaged in fierce battles with the TPA, struggling to maintain control over strategic areas. However, sustained attacks and dwindling resources have left the MDF unable to hold their positions. The fall of Ta’ana marks a significant and symbolic victory for the TPA, whose forces breached the city’s defenses after a brutal siege that began on May 21.
BREAKING— A high-level source within the Zharan Administration has revealed that what the source called a, “fullscale military operation,” has been underway for the last two hours in Northern Krauranagaz and in Southern Mitallduk. According to the same source, the operation involves the air, land, and sea forces of both Emerald and Krauanagaz.
It remains unclear if there was any communication between the Provincial Mitallduk government and Krauanagaz, but given the general state of disorder across Mitallduk it is likely that no communications occurred. The Krauanagazan Defense Department declined to comment on the goal or reasoning behind the reported military action, however did confirm that, “some units have been deployed in Northern Krauanagaz.”
Krauanaet Zharan’s office has not yet responded to our request for comment.
