The FiHami constitution has been amended to reintroduce the parliament permanently with no ability to dissolve the parliament without a constitutional amendment. The matter will go to vote on FiHami’s next election cycle before being officially adopted if it passes the required 70% citizen threshold.

After almost 3 weeks in hiding, Vrignyan police have finally arrested the missing Headless Killer, companion of Viktor Verien. Their identity has been revelaed as Markus Deren, which shares a similar personal story to Viktor Verien. It is most likely that the two met during their imprisonment in the old Rijeke Prison Complex, and became friends and partners in crime.
Markus Deren’s identity was discovered back then when the police investigated Viktor’s house. While the two were not living together, it is certain that, at least, Markus spent a lot of time in Viktor’s house. Police found the necessary clues to identify Markus. Other notable findings were a ripped flag of the Z-D Kresbo, Frankist Gianatla and other, mostly unknown, esoteric ideologies and movements. Mostly to note, no copy of the Zarkanium or any religious finding were noted, so police have thought that the couple murdered their victims in order to spread fear and hatred about Zarkanxiz and religion among Vrignyan citizens.
Markus Deren was caught in the Vraks International Airport, with a fake ID and a ticket for a flight to Sedunn. It is most likely that his intention was to flee to Sedunn, but the Vrignyan police in the airport were able to identify him due to the available information in the wanted criminals database.
Both “Headless Killers” will soon be judged and will recieve a sentence for their crimes in the following days. The trial will be broadcasted live. It is clear that, in any case, both murderers will remain in Vrignyan prison for the longest time possible, maybe even for the rest of their lives.
The recently opened Kanho Sand Mine in Loshkaria, Pelinai is celebrating the harvesting of its one millionth tonne of construction sand since it began operations in late 2022. Premier of Prydon, Vasilly Masillevich Aequi, conducted a working visit to Kliegme and secured a successful natural gas purchase with the Kliegmean company, Gazproiz. The Vrignyan Armed Forces has settled on an aircraft lending deal with the Republic of Firest. The measure, while unpopular among Vrignyans due to Firest’s authoritarianism, has been justified by the Minister of Defence stating that the Vrignyan Armed Forces doesn’t have even close to the minimum budget necessary to maintain the arsenal it inherited from the Stratocracy.
Vrignyan military manufacturing has also experienced a large setback since the fall of the Stratocracy, due to the Armed Forces’ no longer existing demand, coupled with the small number of exports to other countries, too small for the production of Vrignyan weapons to be economical.
It is uncertain what the Republic of Firest will do with the new Vrignyan planes. The Republic of Firest and State of Aldestukk have been in conflict for decades; however, 7 years ago a 5 year armistice was signed, and so far, no new attacks or large military situations have occurred between the two nations. The disputed land border between both nations is heavily fortified, and mostly follows the Nissiel, Kresben and Uriren rivers, making any large military endevour by either country difficult.

A Miphan medical shipment en-route to Clocktown was seized by Okeanos Port guards in an unprecedented escalation to the acrimonious feud between the Terminan City-states of Okeanos and Higurashi. The move was met with swift near unanimous condemnation from the various city-states with Clocktown officials demanding Okeanos reverse course or face serious consequences. Okeanos officials hit back claiming they had little choice but to seize the shipment claiming that the Miphan authorities failed to submit proper paperwork to transit drugs through Okeanos’ territory. Meanwhile Nationalist bloc leader, Point Rain Governor-General Garek Nobel, distanced himself from the Okeanos seizure calling it a “gross overreaction to the political theatrics of the Capitol.” However, the Governor went on to sympathize with his nationalist compatriot adding, “the bias against local city-states in favor of the Entente only proves the Izaakian accusations of being an illegitimate entity”.
