Statement from the Office of the Mitallarkava

January 3, 2024

It is with deep concern and a sense of obligation that I address the recent incident involving a vessel in our contiguous waters. Our sovereign rights over these territories, as defined by international law and our maritime boundaries, cannot be understated.

The ship in question was detected in an area that falls within our recognized contiguous zone. As a nation committed to safeguarding our borders, enforcing our laws, and maintaining the security of our citizens, the actions taken by our forces were entirely within the bounds of our legal prerogatives.

Contrary to the Krauanagaz Federation’s assertions, our actions are not only justified but are in line with international norms. The vessel, by entering our contiguous waters without proper authorization, violated our laws and regulations. We have the sovereign right to enforce our maritime and immigration laws within this region, as any responsible nation would.

The suggestion that we are somehow illegally detaining individuals is not only baseless but also offensive. Our authorities are diligently following established legal procedures in dealing with this matter. We emphasize that the Krauanagazan citizens aboard the vessel knowingly and unlawfully entered Mitallduk territory, bypassing the sanctioned border crossing in the Demilitarized Zone.

We remain committed to upholding the principles of law and order in the region. Any insinuation otherwise is not only a misrepresentation of the facts but an affront to the sovereignty of the Mitallduk Confederacy.

Mitallduk Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs Joint Statement

January 7, 2024

The Mitallduk Confederacy expresses its deep concern and condemnation following a recent incident involving the detection and destruction of a surveillance drone within our sovereign airspace. This egregious violation, orchestrated by the Krauanagaz Federation, is a blatant act of espionage that undermines the principles of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence between our nations.

On January 6, 2024, our vigilant defense systems detected and neutralized a Federation Surveillance Drone trespassing in the skies above Mitallduk territories. The drone’s advanced surveillance capabilities were a direct threat to our national security and the privacy of our citizens. This unprovoked act of aggression cannot be ignored, and we hold the Krauanagaz Federation accountable for this breach of international norms.

The presence of a Krauanagaz Federation drone in Mitallduk airspace goes beyond a simple border violation. It is a clear indication of covert intelligence gathering and espionage activities directed at our sovereign affairs. Such actions are not only unacceptable but also pose a significant risk to regional stability.

The Mitallduk Confederacy calls upon the Krauanagaz Federation to provide an immediate explanation for this unwarranted intrusion into our airspace. This act undermines the trust that should exist between neighboring nations and raises serious questions about the Federation’s intentions.

In response to this breach of trust, the Mitallduk Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs will be reviewing diplomatic relations with the Krauanagaz Federation. The Mitallduk Confederacy will not tolerate any further encroachments on our sovereignty. We are actively considering all available options to protect our national interests and ensure the safety and security of our citizens.

The Mitallduk Confederacy remains committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region. However, we will not hesitate to defend our borders and national security against any threat. The onus is now on the Krauanagaz Federation to rectify this situation, restore trust, and prevent further escalation of tensions in our shared region.

My fellow Mitalldukish citizens,

Today, we find ourselves compelled to address an alarming incident that strikes at the core of our national security and sovereignty. The recent act of aggression by armed Krautali fishers against a Mitallduk fishing trawler is an affront to our great nation.

Let me be unequivocal in my condemnation of this terroristic act. Such actions are not only an attack on our citizens but also a blatant disregard for the norms that govern interactions between our states. We, as the Mitallduk Confederacy, demand accountability for this outrageous act.

I find it particularly disconcerting that the Krauanagaz Federation attempts to downplay the severity of this incident. If the tables were turned, and a Mitallduk vessel intercepted a Krauanagazan ship in a similar manner, they would undoubtedly label it as terrorism and call for swift justice. It is hypocritical for them to treat our citizens’ safety and well-being with any less urgency.

Let us not forget the events of July 9, 2008, when a Mitallduk vessel was allegedly involved in an incident in the North Kraudukra Sea. The Krauanagaz Federation was quick to condemn it as a “flagrant disregard of the ceasefire agreement” and demanded extradition for those responsible. Yet, when their own citizens commit a violent act, they attempt to diminish its gravity and play it down.

This double standard is unacceptable, and will not stand.

We demand the Krauanagaz Federation take immediate and decisive action to locate the detained Mitallduk citizens and ensure their safe return. We also call on the international community to condemn this act of aggression and pressure the Krauanagaz Federation to uphold the principles of peace and diplomacy.

In the face of adversity, we stand united as a nation. Our citizens’ safety is paramount, and we will not rest until those responsible for this act are held accountable.

Signed,

Lukian Kullan

The Mitallduk Confederacy firmly asserts its sovereign right to self-defense and the pursuit of scientific endeavors within the bounds of international law. The recent nuclear test conducted in the Cordilian Sea was a demonstration of our commitment to national security and the protection of our citizens.

The concerns raised by various nations regarding the environmental impact and the perceived threat are unfounded and based on misconceptions. Mitallduk’s nuclear tests adhere to established safety protocols and international treaties. The Confederacy prioritizes responsible nuclear development, ensuring the safety of the environment and neighboring nations.

Accusations of contaminating waters are baseless, and Mitallduk categorically dismisses the notion that our actions endanger other nations in the Cordilian Sea. We urge nations to consider the facts before making hasty judgments. The Confederacy’s nuclear capabilities are a deterrent against potential threats, and they are not intended for aggression.

The Mitallduk Confederacy calls for a diplomatic resolution to address the concerns of the international community. However, any foreign interference or sanctions imposed without proper justification will be viewed as unwarranted aggression. We remind the world that Mitallduk retains the right to defend itself and respond to provocations as deemed necessary.

It is our sincere hope that the international community approaches this matter with reason and understanding, recognizing the Confederacy’s commitment to maintaining stability and security in the Cordilian Sea, and Kraudukra Sea regions.
