September 2024 Prime Minister Election

The requirements to run for Prime Minister of the South Pacific and Craziest Person of the South Pacific are as follows:

  • Have become a citizen no later than 2024-09-20T14:00:00Z.

  • Declare one’s candidate as a reply to this topic no later than 2024-09-24T14:00:00Z.

  • Post a topic within this category containing a campaign and a complete and truthful disclosure of conflicts of interest across NationStates.

IMPORTANT
Citizens who do not comply with all requirements before the following date will not be listed on the ballot:

2024-09-20T14:00:00Z

The Elections Act contains further information on the requirements for participation in this election.

I thank you for the nominations, but I must decline. It is always my desire to see elections unfold with some actual competition, so I encourage everyone who’s been nominated and hasn’t declined to consider the opportunity.
If you feel you aren’t experienced enough yet, we all start somewhere. Build a Cabinet with experienced members of the community, don’t hesitate to seek advice, and above all else, do your best.

I am very honored to be nominated. Thank you so much @Griffindor, and @North, but I must decline. Like @lordnwahs in the April 2024 I just feel I don’t have enough experience to be PM at this time. Another reason being I feel too new to be PM at this time. One more reason I declined is that, during this time we need unity right now, and I feel @ProfessorHenn, as PM will give us unity during this time. However, the candidates that have been nominated but haven’t said anything yet are @ConcreteSlab, @Pronoun, @NoOne, @USoVietnam, and @Penguin, all of you guys I urge you to consider this opportunity, I might not be taking it but it doesn’t mean you can’t. I again want @Griffindor, and @North, for nominating me, and again I urge the remaining people to consider the opportunity. Have a magical day/night!
