Following the resignation of lordnwahs as Prime Minister, the Council on Regional Security is empowered under Article 6(1)a of the Elections Act to select a caretaker Prime Minister.
The Council on Regional Security has unanimously selected Pronoun as caretaker Prime Minister. We’re confident that Pronoun is qualified for the role, with prior terms in Cabinet as the leader of multiple Ministries, and is currently active enough to fill the role. We also sought to avoid selections that may run in the upcoming election to avoid the perception of biasing the outcome of the election, and Pronoun stated they were not planning to run. For the record, Pronoun abstained from this vote and abstained from all discussion after their name was suggested from the role.
