Resignation as PM

I resign from the office of Prime Minister, effective immediately. I have informed my Cabinet of this decision a few days ago. I will not be seeking any elected office in the immediate future.

In the intervening period, I intend on Cabinet to remain as I have initially appointed (with the exception of NoOne who resigned last week) in a caretaker capacity, until further instructions of a caretaker PM appointed by the CRS.

I will give a fuller statement in due course, but I would like to once again thank those that have put their faith in me throughout, and I wish the caretaker PM and the next elected PM the best of luck.

Will you remain on as OWL director?

The law is agnostic on this matter, actually, since it never spells out the arrangements regarding appointed cabinet members following a vacancy in the office of PM. I do intend on remaining as OWL Director.

This was really unexpected, especially after @NoOne, just resigned, you are truly going to be missed, I am still in shock by this news, good luck what’s coming ahead @lordnwahs!
