“International law is clear. Emerald and Denver and the Starhawk Pact has the right to defend itself against this aggression, and there is nothing stopping any other nation from intervening on their side. But the intervention has to be approved by Emerald and Denver first.”

The damages for the recent missile attacks has been finally documented:
Copenhagen, Kingston, and Fort Jensen were all spared thanks to missile defense systems set up by CE Peacekeepers. Both warheads were airbursts, essentially flattening downtown Edwardia, with severe winds damaging a 8 mile radius around downtown Edwardia. Joint Base Edwardia was confirmed to be in the blast zone, Sallodesian Casualties is currently unknown. As for casualties within the city, it is currently sitting at nearly 400,000 Deaths, with 350,000 wounded. Thus, the Emeraldian Government has accepted the offer made by the Sedunnic government to assist in the Evacuation of Wounded and the alleviation of local hospitals.
In other news, the Emeraldian Government has told the Frost Government to allow the Thalapdian Fleet to pass. Emeraldian Military High Command has already called on Partners and Allies to form a joint Military Command focused on how to defeat Ludville with as little damage as possible to local infrastructure.
The Pelinese White Army has released a statement denying the use of VX, sarin, or other poison gases on trainees in its CBRN defense training courses. President Aziz Traore in response to the attack on Emerald-Denver orchestrated by the LNAC, the current military junta leading Ludville, has announced sanctions and a military response will be enacted. In addition, a humanitarian task force will be sent along to assist with evacuation and other medical emergencies. Prior to the attack, Evinea was added to the Starhawk Pact so this event marks their first major incident with the alliance.
“We, the Republic of Evinea, condemn the gross and inhumane nuclear attack on Emerald-Denver, and LNAC has to be punished. We will immediately draft sanctions to be placed on the junta and coordinate with the Starhawk Pact to enact a military response. This unnecessary aggression will come to an end.”
James Yacouba, Secretary of Defense, stated that Evinean troops will be sent to Emerald-Denver via air while equipment will be sent via naval auxiliary support, and will maintain the defensive posture the Pact has instructed to keep, while working on a joint military command with other allies. In addition, due to the nuclear threat, Yacouba added that the in-the-works nuclear program will be “hurried and expedited with no delay”.
According to the Supreme Commander, the Sedunnic Armed Forces are making “readiness adjustments” following the LNAC attack on Emerald and Denver. These include deployment of air and coastal defence units in certain areas, and the public is asked to exercise the normal caution not to film or describe such activities. This is not a mobilisation.
