The Denverian Federal Defense Forces was alerted today after multiple Missiles(All Conventional except one) were spotted by Emeraldian Military Satellites being launched towards targets in Emerald and Denver. After around an hour, Copenhagen, Kingston, Parker, 2 Military Installations, and several towns. Edwardia, current Administrative Capital of Emerald was unfortunately hit 2 Nuclear Warheads from a leftover Union Ballistic Missile, thus explaining where the 2 remaining warheads* vanished off too. Damage to the city is not yet known, but it is known that most of the Legislature and Executive branches managed to evacuate. The Starhawk Pact has declared a state of war against the LNAC, formally recognizing the Ludvillian Resistance as the legal successor to the Free State Of Ludville. However, it has been announced that Union Forces will maintain a defensive posture until a plan of attack can be formulated.

Note that “nukes” means ballistic missiles, Ludville(or Denverian Nationalists) has already fired 2, but one of them, along with 2 Warheads, was still unaccounted for, until now.

The meeting between Emerald-Denver and Evinea has wrapped up with Prime Minister Galen Hughes and President Aziz Traore, with an alliance between the two nations being formed. Under the Emerald-Denver–Evinea Security Pact, a union of collective security has been formed in order to protect the interests and safety of both nations. In addition, Evinea has been added into Starhawk Pact, ushering in a new sense of diplomacy and international relations for the Evinean State.

EMERALD-DENVER–EVINEA SECURITY PACT
The states of Emerald-Denver and Evinea desiring to: (a) create and uphold the union of peace and friendship, (b) uphold democracy, personal liberties and the rule of law, (c) encourage closer economic cooperation to promote economic stability and well-being, and (d) maintain each others best interests in order to protect one another, therefore agree to the articles as follows:

ARTICLE I
Both states will contribute to the development of peaceful and friendly international relations by strengthening their institutions by bringing about a better understanding of the principles upon which these institutions are founded, and by promoting conditions of stability and well-being. They will seek to eliminate conflict in their international economic policies and will encourage economic collaboration between them.

ARTICLE II
Both states will individually and in cooperation with each other, by means of continuous and effective self-help and mutual aid, maintain and develop, subject to their constitutional provisions, their capacities to resist armed attack. They will both uphold the principle of mutual defense.

ARTICLE III
Both states will host biannual meetings to uphold the integrity and foundation of the treaty, and will switch host nations each meeting. The respective governments will meet to ensure that the allyship, based on the underlying strength of peace and friendship will not falter under any circumstance.

ARTICLE IV
Both states in order to maintain the security of each other agree to the creation of military bases on their respective lands. Both nations grant each other the usage of each other’s facilities and area for naval, aerial, and ground military uses.

ARTICLE V
Both states agree to the exchange of intelligence and military equipment in order to ensure the best possible protection and security for each other, and to continue the development of effective mutual defense. Their respective military and intelligence institutions will contribute to the allyship with shared intelligence and military sales.

ARTICLE VI
Both states will adhere to the rules and doctrines of the Starhawk Pact, outlined by FOREIGN RELATIONS AGREEMENT TREATY: STARHAWK, with Evinea signing the respective treaty to be added as a new member of the pact. They will provide assistance and support to the members of the pact, creating a stronger union between their states and a larger sense of mutual defense and intelligence sharing.

ARTICLE VII
This treaty, being signed in Fort Edward, Emerald-Denver, may be amended by unanimous vote between both states, to maintain that it is satisfactory for both states to allow for the proper maintenance of security and friendship.

Weissersteiner, Pasten, and Ikaranaran troops recently met near the town of Mitterdenz to commemorate the 112th anniversary of the 1911 Weissersteiner-Pasten Border Incident, more popularly known as the War of Utter Tomfoolery.

The troops shook hands to symbolize the end of Weissersteiner-Ikaranaran hostilities, which was inherited from the animosity with the Triangular Empire. This tradition had been practiced since the end of the Father States’ rule in 1955.

While the War of Utter Tomfoolery may have been short, it brought the tensions in the Weissersteiner-Pasten border to full attention, which would later culminate in the signing of the 1911 Mitterdenz Agreement, which settled the Weissersteiner-Pasten border dispute and, for a time, brought peace to the region.

The Frost Empire firmly condemns the Ludvillan menace for its missile strikes and has enacted additional sanctions targeting broad swathes of their economy expanding from the initial decision to enact targeted sanctions against high profile Ludvillans. The Empire has remobilized the 7th fleet and has urged the world forum to authorize an world forum intervention to punish Ludville for the use of Nuclear weapons.

Losavral authorities acting on evidence gathered by the Ikaranarean FIC have discovered links within low-level leaders of the 24 Losavral tribes going to the nationalists. More than 50 people have been arrested in connection with the scheme with numbers climbing.

Minister of Interior Lyssa Fiore, sat on front of the cameras to state the situation over Ludville and Emerald and Denver:

"Well, now we have a nuclear victim. The United Provinces of Rhaynan condemns the use of WMD by the Ludvillan Dictatorship. The Rhaynan Navy will mobilise to the east. Complete and total sanctions against Ludville, without possibility of being removed, ever. And we support the Starhawk Pact in these trying times.

We remind Ludville, that an attack on a LoC member will mean an attack on the LoC, an alliance with two nuclear powers. Ludville isn’t in the right end for negotiations this time.

It’s also ironic how the Frost Empire seems so decided to do an intervention after condemning it just some weeks ago. Nuclear weapons is already worrying enough? Or an intervention is only right if it’s done by Frost?"

Athena Antonides starts her speach:

“The world has seen a tragedy today. A weapon of mass destruction has been used on Emerald by the Ludvillian Junta. If the world didn’t ignore the warnings and didn’t force us to turn back from supporting our ally maby it would have gone differently, but that’s not important now. The use of a weapon like that can’t be ignored. Thalapadis will, by the right of the alliance with Emerald, come to help it’s ally. The navy and marine corp are mobilized and will come to intervene. We will make the scum pay for the inocent lives it took! thánatos sti choúnta! timoríste tous dolofónous!”

Soon after this a large part of the thalapadian navy was seen preparing to leave for Ludville. Notable ships seen in the intervention fleet are the TCRN Poseidon (gr admiral Athena’s flagship, a repurposed battleship), the TCRN Agreas Anikitos and it’s strike group (thalapadises aircraft carrier) and the TCRN Boreas and it’s (a major amphibious assault ship used by the marine corp). Multiple cruise missle submarines are expected to already be on the way.

The foreign minister of the frost Empire hit back against the Rhaynan minister’s ignorant comments stating, the Empire does not tolerate the destabilzation of Bareland by any party. The recent missile strikes against the UKED does not exonerate the aggressive provocation of the LoC and the Criminal actions of the Thalapadian regime in murdering individuals in foreign soil. Nor will it tolerate Thalapadian or foreign military intervention without express WF forum authorization. Should the Thalapadians persist with their reckless military interventionism then the Empire will be forced to enact a pacific blockade and prevent the movement of all non-CE cordelian flagged military vessels. The Imperial 9th and 6th fleet have also been mobilized in response to the Thalapadian announcement.

Weisserstein condemns the Ludvillian Junta for their use of WMDs against Emerald-Denver, placing sanctions on the junta regime. Weissersteiner forces in the East, namely those stationed in Pelinai and Fatiniyya, are placed on high alert.

Regarding the back-and-forth between the Frost Empire and LoC member states, Reichskanzler Müller stated that “…now is not the time for us to be pointing fingers and blaming one another. Civilians died thanks to our inaction and we are all to blame. So now, let us make sure we prevent such catastrophe from occurring again. A solid response from the international community is necessary for such a prevention.”

Ikaranara has warned the Frost Empire that it will “Not tolerate” a blockade, while also warning Thalapadis to avoid “Unnecessary provocation” to the Frost Empire and to make clear the routes of military vessels to the International community. The Ikaranarean Navy has been put on Alert 3 and fleets have been mobilized from Coastal Tzara- Although these fleets are seemingly only to do patrols as they are not equipped for offensive action.

The Ryccian government has condemned the “reckless and obscene” use of nuclear weapons by the Ludville regime. A total embargo on all Ludville-Ryccian interactions of any kind is in effect, and the Ryccian government has stated it will “seriously consider” attacking Ludville with its own nuclear arsenal if it uses nukes again in an offensive capacity.
