A protest in northern Jakub City by a group of Islamic conservatives caused outrage amping many liberal and left-wing political groups yesterday. The group known as Uagadoogoo had several legally obtained books burned in an organized protest at Huabit Park. The books primarily contained those written by homosexual authors along with non-Islamic holy books.
The protest was interrupted when a group of left-wing counter-protesters attacked the Uagadoogoo members while rushing past and into police. The left-wing organization, Bracia Anarchii, claims responsibility for the attack as they continue to be Uagadoogoo’s main opposition.
The Jakubian National Police has sent out a public warning to all citizens about the risks of attending public protests during the recent curve in political violence.
In other news, the Jakubian Army has begun to siege the Molician-occupied towns of Suka Kulki, Ssij Mnie, and Brak Pomysłów. Suka Kulki was added to the offensive in desperation after a POW camp was discovered in the area. Secured nearby regions are being prepared for an influx in refugees and medical emergencies that would be transported. NGOs have also begun preparations, still being disallowed from the army to be within 50 miles of the designated areas.

Hundreds of important people gather to witness a historic moment. Among them are kings, queens, presidents, prime ministers. Today 7 states will join the congressional republic. After months of negotiations a deal has been made.
9 people aproach the table from a room to the side: the king of Vivliapoli, duke of Chlomia, president of Chrysa, prime minister of Hetria, grand prince of Ochyro and megalos hierei and prime minister of Vorinisi, and lastly, president of the Thalaladian congress, Valentinos Antonides, wearing a dark blue suit with golden shoulder pads representing his position as commander in chief and a presidential sash. He comes up to the lectern and speaks:
“Ladies and gentlemen, allies, great leaders of many nations, but most importantly friends, i thank you all for attending this important part of the history of my nation. 31 years ago, when we rose up to apose the tirrany of the oppressor we didn’t know that we would win freedom, and could even less imagine that this day will come. Today we celebrate as 7 states are joining us, giving away their sovereignty in pursuit of greater opportunities and a better future for their citizens, and to, together, be stronger and more prosperous than we could ever imagine. This treaty is the start of a new era for all parties involved, a new age for our people. Ageans of 8 states will stand together as brother under the banner of one strong republic, guided by the ideals of democracy and freedom! Rejoice children of the ocean as the day of glory has come! Long live freedom! Long live democracy! Long live Thalapadis!”
The crowd erupts in cheer on those last words.
“And now, for the signing of the treaty”
One by one the representatives aproach the table, sign the treaty, turn around and kiss the constitution of Thalapadis in it’s display case. The monarchs take off their crowns and lay them on the case, as a symbol of them transferring their power to the constitution. After everyone has signed the treaty is lifted up and shown to the public
“May we live long together and prosper!” Says Valentinos Antonides, and the deletates leave the stage. The crowd is lead to the ball room to celebrate the historic occasion.

The Jakubian President, Wiktor Ruskowski, congratulated the Thalapadis on their recent admission of seven city states on national television where he read out the message that was delivered to the Thalapadis. A Jakubian news station, Jakub Stacja Nadawcza, referred to it as “one of many crucial events for the legitimacy of the Thalapadis and expansion in their territory.”

In a recent talk show interview the PM commented on the accusations by the opposition on the exports of weapons by saying: “We had long and productive talks with the Spirasian government and determined that it is a safe area. This has been confirmed by the referendum. We congratulate the Spirasian people and offer them our help. And help has many forms, and one of those is helping them ensure their freedom by giving them planes.”
It is rumoured that business tycoon Hejerr “Qwerty” Opalen is planning to build two replicas of 18th century ships of the line and recreate a battle between them, remotely controlled. The purpose is not clear and he has declined to comment on the rumours.

THALAPADIAN AIRBORNE COMBAT EXERCISES
The thalapadian air force and navy have done joint airborne combat exercises over the sea of Thalapadis to test it’s fighter fleet.
3 different aircraft ware present: the JSI-23 Starhawk, TAV-39 Nychtopterix and the pelanese made ae-15BIS. 10 simulated dogfights ware done for each match up in 2 categories, one where stealth is a factor and a nother one where it isn’t. The results are as following:

JSI-23 Starhawk vs TAV-39 nychtopterix: 10 : 0
JSI-23 Starhawk vs ae-15BIS: 10 : 0
TAV-39 nychtopterix vs ae-15BIS: 5 : 5
NOTES: The Starhawk’s stealth factor made it extremely hard for the 4th generation jets to detect, that combined with it’s supermanuverability and modern weapons computers gave it a masive edge against them. The nychtopterix and the ae-15BIS seamed closely matched but the thalapadian made jet seamed to me in controll of the engagement more than the ae-15BIS

JSI-23 Starhawk vs ae-15BIS: 9 : 1
TAV-39 nychtopterix vs ae-15BIS: 6 : 5
NOTES: The Starhawk proved it’s superiority as a 5th generation fighter, but the nychtopterix was a suprisingly strong competitor, scoring 2 kills against the modern jet. The nychtopterix had a edge against the pelanese fighter in the exercise, tho the results are too close to call a decisive winner.
CONCLUSION
The thalapadian air force and navy air wing are very well equiped to handle any areal threat against the nation, as well as conduct operations against foreign powers threatening it.
