King Andrei III has voiced his disappointment over King Joshua VII. “Too little has King Joshua learned from the horrors of war in his own home. Gruesome are the days when bloodlust butchers reason and friends heed not to another’s counsel.”
Following this statement, experts have since speculated that Stoinia will retract its previous support of UKED as a potential CE member-candidate, rebuilding efforts from the civil war and or possible partnership within CMOC.
When faced with losing Stoinia or Losing a pointless conflict, King Joshua VII has informed the Emeraldian Government that he will no longer support the war, especially after realizing how faulty the AEGIS system really is after looking at transmitted cordinates of the Sara from the Prince Edward and the Hyperion Sat Net. He has since ordered the 2nd Fleet to cease ALL combat operations. He has requested the Emeraldian Government to officially recognize the Kingdom Of Pelinai and pay for the indemnities, saying “Glory to Emerald, Glory To Pelinai.” It has been reported that multiple ERN vessels have begun leaving the western med towards Little Sedunn. The Emeraldian Government has so far refused to Recognize Pelinai, even with every other Starhawk Pact Member doing so, with Denver, Ludville, and New Colradia leaving the war altogether. The Spirasian Government has made plans to leave the conflict as well, saying that the Emeraldian Government are complete Idiots for not doing the same. In response to the inaction by the Emeraldian Government, the Provincial Governments Of Jylland, Centralia, Emral, and Colradia have begun allocating funds to help pay the indemnities. The only exception being Nord-Danvir, whose Governor has refused to speak at this time.

All Member States Of The Starhawk Pact, except for the Emeraldian Government, which will be represented by 4 out of the 5 Provinces. The Gianaltan Offer for mediation has been accepted. Starhawk Pact peace terms to be presented to Pelinai will include: the release of all interned Starhawk Pact Citizens, financial indemnities for the families of crew of the Prince Edward, and a lifting of the Travel Ban.

Officials of the Sunrise Triad are happy that a full-scale war was able to be averted in the Mediterranean. However, Myria wil continue to patrol the Mediterranean and offer humanitarian aid should it be needed for the next few days. The Sallodesian fleet will however continue its course and dock at the naval base in Livana to remain there for several weeks to ensure the cease-fire remains. Vessels from the Stoinian navy have since been recalled.
Ha’Coron’ Hana has urged Prime Minister Kilaui Kuri to call an emergency defense meeting in regards to violent protests in FiHami clashing.
The FiHami PM has called an urgent parliament session this morning in response to yesterday’s announcement in hopes of preventing the ex-chief Puani Kokostali from death via volcano.
“The death penalty, even for the most heinous crimes, have not been used since before the arrival of the Antarchi on the island. Even the active oppressors under the White Empire were not executed once they surrendered, they are, to this day, being kept in high security prisons, treated humanely in compliance with human rights decrees worldwide. Puani may have been a fraud and an absolute dunderhead, but she did not attempt to overthrow the Finixi people. She should walk freely, though stripped of her title as chief.” PM Kuri was reported saying.
Ha’Coron’ Hana fired back later today, claiming the extreme importance of the integrity of Finixi’s spiritual life.
“Puani is a traitor to her people. She has acted disrespectfully to our beliefs with clear intent to allow bad actors infiltrate our government. She must be made an example to all that we will not tolerate bad actors in our nation attempting to take it over for personal game. After investigation of the chief’s residence, strong ties to the Finixi Nationalist movement were found, including letters from the highly controversial Texeteti’. Among the most incriminating things were notes detailing the plans of the Matriarchy Fundamentalists including plans to assassinate the late Ha’Coron’ Finix Fi’Shi during said protests, plots to declare herself high priestess, and to demolish FiHami’s parliament. Even if Puani may avoid death by volcano, many FiHami residents are in uproar regarding the findings and are insisting on her execution, a stark contrast from earlier today.
Ha’Coron’ Hana has requested that the volcano execution continue as planned. However, the chief investigator is requesting for the execution to be put on hold in order to interrogate the ex-chief.

The Frost Empire welcomed the news of a ceasefire in the Mediterranean between the Starhawk pact and the Pelinese government. However, Frost officials have also released a statement warning their Spirasian counterparts not to jeopardize ongoing peacekeeping operations in Southern Spiras by running headlong into war.
In a Yttrian Late-Night Talk Show, one of the guests made an off-handed remark about how easily other countries get into wars.
President Alexei Boroshilov has thanked the Governments of Pelinai and the Starhawk Pact for taking a logical approach to prevent further escalation. He then commended the efforts of Sallodesia, Myria, and Stoinia, stating that their actions have prevented unnecessary deaths from happening further.
In other news, Sukhonbu CEO Boris Graf has announced that the company has made contracts with 12 airlines, both domestic and foreign, on the production and delivery of Sukhonbu’s newest regional jet. He then thanked the efforts of the SSJ-20 development team’s engineers, testers, designers, and other employees who made this feat possible.

Celebrations erupt in Weisserstein after the announcement of a ceasefire between Pelinai and the Starhawk Pact reached Weisserstein. Chancellor Friedrich Müller commends both sides for taking a logical step in the conflict during a press conference. He also thanked the Sunrise Triad for helping in the prevention of further deaths.

“Eflad welcomes the ceasefire and detente between the Starhawk Pact and Pelinai. It would have brought nothing but bloodshed. In the end, everyone has to sit down and talk. Make a compromise and solve things by talking to each other. Why spill priceless blood, when one can do that immediately.
Regarding the situation in Thalapadia:
The Rykapadian people have to free themselves, as long as Thalapadia attacks no other nation or asks a foreign government for help, all military actions by foreign governments on Thalapadian soil are, at least in Eflads eyes, illegal.
No foreign nation currently has any justification to be present on Thalapadian soil.
Eflad naturally condemns the violence in Thalapadia, and appeals to both sides to sit down and talk.

If a nation is to not be taken seriously is one that makes up excuses for wars. Anyway, what will we know? I’m sure Ikarov really has an idea of what international politics is about, they have been fighting with everyone they know. I thought Pelinai had a talk with the Viceprytanis to smooth out relations, but it doesn’t seem like they were thinking about that after all.

The newest cover of the news magazine of Die Lupe has created an uproar in Eflad. It was released after the GSA announced that a search of the HQ was conducted.
In the meantime, the author of the article, Anton Weier has, after learning of his arrest warrant, turned himself in. Two of the chairpeople of the editorial body have also been arrested.
Many have criticised the decision and see this as a blatant attack against the free press as well as betrayal by the government.

Follwoing the naval clashes in the western Mediterranean Sea, the Ilva Canal in Sedunn that allows ships up to a certain size to bypass the western straits of the Mediterranean Sea has noted increased traffic intensity. Measures are being taken by local authorities to ensure an increased daily capacity.
Responding to both statements from Viliakmon’s Regency in Ochridae and the Merimang Group, the Black Flag Army issued an international public statement announcement:
“You people would accuse a farmer of robbing his own bread, you would curse the wet soil for causing the rain. There is nothig in this life you can know without living it. What have you lived?

The Peony of Huawan was interviewed about the recent conflicts spiraling across Cordilia.
“The Peocracy is not one for war.” But she ends the answer with “Huawan will support the independence of her allies.”
It was reported that several letters and meetings were sent by the Peonic Royal Government to states around the world. Particularly Pelinai, UPRAN, Ikaranara, Thalapadis, The Starhawk Pact and Sallodesia in regards to the situation.
In other news. Peonic PMCs are spotted to operate in the Thalapadis Nuclear Power Plant and the Peonic embassy for security. The Peonic Royal Navy has also increased its presence in Bailtem and northern Cordilia.
