The Gianlucian MoFA has offered mediation between the Starhawk Pact and Pelinai. “At the moment, dangerous rhetoric is flying around that will only lead to a continued destabilisation of Cordilia and another war in the extended Mediterranean region. Merely 6 hours after the official inauguration of President Jana Van Den Bergh, the new world leader makes a daring move. Sallodesia, Stoinia & Myria have agreed to form a coalition of ships to stand between Pelinese & Emeraldian military vessels. The new Commander-in-Chief has thus mobilized the Pacific Reserve Fleet from the Lile Uile Islands as well as the Peneshire Defence Fleet, Carrier Strike Group One & two submarine squadrons amassing roughly 40 Sallodesian naval vessels which will accompany the additional 56 Myrian & 28 Stoinian vessels. The Task Force will take point between Pelinese & Emeraldian navies and put distance between them to hopefully force both parties to settle for a cease-fire.

President Jana Van Den Bergh, King Andrei III & President Mara Khuri have pleaded with both the UKED & Pelinese governments to accept peace talks before the situation escalates any further.
“Let us work together to preserve the Mediterranean as the heart of commerce. Not of war.” Pleaded the new President of Sallodesia.
In addition, King Andrei hopes this will gain the attention of both nations to choose reason over war. He also stated that should Stoinian ships be fire upon, the Entente’s articles will be utilized to their full extent.
