Recent polling states that Ikaranareans are divided on whether and how Ikaranara should take a more active stance in the international community. 62% of respondents said "Ikaranara should continue its engagements with international issues while the remaining 38% said that “Ikaranara should scale back its interaction with the international community.”
Of the former group, 52% say “Ikaranara should be more active in Cordilia,” 32% say "Ikaranara should be active in Cordilia and Crabry, 9% say “Ikaranara should be active on Cordilia and Crabry and take an interest in the rest of the South Pacific” while 7% say that “Ikaranara should be active within the entirety of the South Pacific.”
Of the group who said that Ikaranara should scale back its involvement with the international community, 92% said that “Ikaranara should limit its involvement to the LoC and other affiliated nations” while 8% said “Ikaranara should leave the LoC.”
There was greater consensus generally on whether to join the WF, with 78% of respondents saying “No, Ikaranara should not join the World Forum,” 13% saying “Ikaranara should observe the World Forum” and 9% saying “Ikaranara should join the World Forum.”
Of a list of international commitments, the following are, in decending order, the top 5 priorities the respondents had.
trade, terrorism, economic stability, “rouge states,” citizen welfare
Interestingly, when asked to point to a specific reason or event for or against increasing international involvement, both sides typically pointed to the War in Past and the Rycco-Cordilian war, with some saying that they are proof that Ikaranara can make positive change in the region, while others say that they are proof that international relations will only drag Ikaranara into further conflict.

The Ryccian government has expressed “alarm” over the Valkyrian nationalization of housing. Ryccian diplomats in Valkyria have been instructed to provide assistance to all citizens who wish to sell their properties before the deadline. The interim government has called on Stockholm to offer “fair and just” financial compensation to Ryccian citizens who own real estate in Valkyria.

The interim government has established the Special Tribunal on Military and Civil Actions to try and convict all officials charged with various crimes such as high treason, treason, sedition, war crimes, abuse of power, murder, mutiny and so forth. The trial of Ashley Lachuentstin, the dictator for most of the military’s time in power, has already begun. The prosecution has charged Marshal Lachuentstin with the crimes of high treason, sedition, abuse of power, mutiny, crimes against humanity, murder of the first degree, embezzlement and electoral fraud, among others.

Marshal Lachuentstin has declared herself not guilty of all charges. It is believed this is a tactic to delay the prosecution or even an attempt to bargain, as her guilt is seen as so evident that she is certain to get the death penalty.
President Pike declared himself hottest parliamentarian when asked about Marshall Lachuentstin declaring herself innocent.
The Gianlucian government has reacted cautiously on Valkyrian plans to nationalise housing. “We are not fully convinced at the moment, that this plan won’t have adverse effects worse than high rent prices. On the other hand, if it will become a huge success, the Valkyrians will be a rolemodel for many countries on Pacifica once again”, said minister of infrastructure Rabe.

The Rhaynan government congratulates Valkyria for the nationalization of their housing, stating: “This is a good step for the citizens. Why should the price of vital services as housing, energy grids and water supply, be in the palm of an unsustainable and unstable system as speculation? As, I think, every constitution of every democratic nation in the South Pacific states, the right of, in general living, should be protected. Although it should also be stated that the nationalizing of services should be only kept to vital services for the people.” This was told by the Minister of Economy.

The Yttrian government has accepted a proposal for a “Run of river” hydroelectric project. Two of these systems are to be built (in separate rivers). President Rilv has promised that more of these systems will be built if the results are satisfactory.

The city of Aelbasan has been under occupation by The Black Army mutineers, lead by former Commander Skandergrof since the 4th of November.
Decree 7 installs a temporary Regency in Viliakmon, made up of 26 Councilors from each of the 26 districts which participated in this years’ census. We will cover Decree 7 in depth soon.
Iakov Xhuglini has resigned on the 13th of November 2022., after a public meeting in which he displayed Decree 7, from all public offices and titles.

Several west Cordilian nations have come together to make an economic alliance. More details about it are to be released after representatives from the nations discuss it further.
Celebrations erupted all across Reizen province as news of the Frost ratification of the TPNW reached Reizeners. However, anti-nuclear activists warn that ultranationalists and pro-nuclear activists will lobby the president to veto the bill pointing to the razor thin margins 51% for and 49% against the ratification. President Kensei is expected to sign the resolution despite concerns from TPNW supporters after noting that the resolution passed on the 2nd anniversary of the treaty of Ikireijin which formally ended the Reizen civil war.

Gianlucian chancellor Sanddorn congratulated the Frost government for ratifying the TPNW. Defence minister Recke pledged assistance in deconstructing the empire’s nuclear arsenal and promised, neither the Empire nor the CE as a whole will be weakened by Frost’s addition to the treaty. “There are other means to keep the country, the alliance and the world safe not based on the idea of destroying humanity in one of the most cruel ways possible.”
