Qaweritoyu: Prime Minister Garcia has said that the re-arrangement of the Higher Chamber is taking longer than expected. Yesterday, the Prime Minister travelled to Izaakia to meet with President Pike, in keeping with policy. The Prime Minister will return on Monday.
President Pike makes a firm commitment to Prime Minister Garcia that the United States of Izaakia will remain a firm supporter of Qaweritoyu, and will support and protect it and the wider Cordillian region from undemocratic and nefarious influences.
The Izaakian press are speculating as to whether President Pikes remark was pointed towards Ryccia, or other regional players.

Duma MP Yuuka Kitagawa reports that, according to his field research, the GRAC’s follow-up management system, which was granted 5 billion Gryvits to make, was not functional despite reports from the GRAC that have stated it was 97% complete.
Many suspect the GRAC of having commited embezzlement. The GRAC spokesman have responded to this report, saying “Please consider the Morale of the team, as we are experiencing low morale from recent developments.”

The comittee shall investigate whether and in what capacity the federal and the state governemnt/s were implemented in the Freedom Fighters, as well as what was done to prevent the murders and attacks and to apprehend the memebers.

The contract for the mass transit system in the new city of Blancopolis is awarded to a consortium of Izaakian firms, with izaakian made trains made under license with Gianaltan and Efladian designs.

President Pike set to halve military expenditure slashing it to pre-war levels. This is expected to free up $224 billion per annum in the government budget. Chancellor of the Exchequer Fifi DePfeffel said that due to the strong geopolitical policies of President Blanc the USI can afford to lift its foot off the gas militarily, and create a fiscal headroom that will set Izaakia up for a strong and stable future.

The results of the Jakubian presidential election are in! Wiktor Ruskowski of the Conservative Party has won the election with 62% of all votes. Wiktor Ruskowski’s promises to end the Molic insurgency in Eastern Jakub and reduce foreign influence over the Jakubian economy and political system. With the current parliament holding only 47% Conservative Party members, it is likely that they will form a coalition if a smaller party like the Republican Party or the Autonomous Party.
The Efladian Space Agency (EfSA) mission chief of the “Moving Horizons” mission has announced that on the 21. November, at 21:56 UTC the probe will pass behind Porea and be in opposition with the planet. It will then turn around to face it and will take a photograph. Pacifica will be visible in this picture. Technically speaking, the probe will make a selfie of the Earth.
If everything goes as planned, the picture should be available to the public on Friday the 18.

Researchers working at the Royal Pelinese Institute of Nuclear Research have announced the successful construction of a fusion reactor with an efficiency of 70%. A nuclear engineer representing the project stated that this is a critical milestone in the pursuit of nuclear fusion-based electricity generation and that they hope to build on this breakthrough to produce further advances in nuclear fusion and other areas.

The interim government has scheduled snap elections for January. A national convention shall also be held, with voters able to elect 10,000 delegates to this forum meant to “discuss the path Ryccia is to take in its future”.

The governments of Ryccia and Yttria have begun a cooperative project to chip away at a part of their mountain border and build a highway between the two countries, making travel between them much easier.

Stoinian PM Gheorghe Vlaicu has voiced his concerns over the proposed nationalization of housing in Valkyria. Stating: “While I understand the noble goal of the Valkyrian government, I fear the overreaching & centralization of such a left-leaning government might be a prelude to something much worse.”
Reportedly, expats from the Sunrise Triad working in Valkyria have started to migrate back as the Cordilian nation’s socialist PM brings discontent among them.
