The Syldaean Landtag has voted to remove current President, Gustav Nitzsch, from office. In a motion started by the Chancellor Daniel Schultze himself, Nitzsch was replaced by Maxi Stahl, a veteran high-ranking officer of the Syldaean Military Police, with experience in dealing with the traffic of drugs in the country.
While the opposition parties voted with the conservative coalition to remove Nitzsch, the vote to appoint Stahl was much closer in comparison. The Socialist Party rallied representatives of several other opposition parties to vote for their candidate, Annie Haring, but the Chancellor managed to rally more votes for Maxi Stahl within the conservative coalition.
This sudden change of the head of state, which is only a symbolic position in Syldaean politics, reflects the recent increasing involvement of the Syldaean government and institutions against the trafficking of drugs into the country. On the other hand, removing Gustav Nitzsch from office may also be due to the government’s condemnation of his involvement with the recently scandalous SyldischÖl, but the Chancellor made no mention of this detail.

BREAKING: Sources Report Arkava Ga’klar Ibinete IV Planning Sweeping Reorganization of Zuhlgan’s Governance
Ozákla, Zuhlgan— Multiple political and intelligence sources are reporting that Arkava Ga’klar Ibinete IV is preparing a dramatic reorganization of Zuhlgan’s governing structure. A move which could fundamentally reshape the Dominion’s internal political order.
According to the reports, the initiative is being developed within the Arkava’s inner circle of trusted advisers, and would significantly alter the balance of power between the Arkava, the Divine Committee, and Zuhlgan’s internal security and administrative institutions. While details remain scarce, sources describe the plans as the most far-reaching governance overhaul since the consolidation of Arkaval authority in the modern era.
Unconfirmed accounts suggest the reorganization could include the dissolution or merger of existing councils and governing bodies, the elevation of new supervisory bodies directly accountable to the Arkava, and a restructuring of internal security oversight following recent international and domestic controversies. Some insiders characterize the effort as an attempt to, “reassert unity and discipline” amid rising elite fractures and external pressure.
The Dominion’s state media has not acknowledged the reports, and no official statement has been issued by the Arkava’s office. However, the rumors have already drawn attention across South Cordilia and the Gulf, with diplomats and analysts closely watching for signs of personnel changes, emergency decrees, or sudden convenings of senior bodies.
If confirmed, the reorganization would have significant implications for regional stability, Zuhlgan’s ongoing ceasefire obligations, and its relationships with neighboring states. Observers caution that the move may either consolidate Arkaval control— or provoke internal resistance from entrenched factions threatened by the shift.
Reports Allege Deadly Nerve Agent Attack in Northern Mitallduk
BREAKING— Alarming reports emerging today from multiple sources allege that a fatal nerve agent was released across several remote towns and villages in Northern Mitallduk, resulting in mass casualties.
Preliminary accounts claim hundreds have been killed and more than one thousand injured, many suffering acute respiratory failure and neurological symptoms consistent with exposure to a neurotoxin. Local medical facilities are reportedly overwhelmed, with shortages of the necessary treatments and protective equipment compounding the crisis.
Provisional Mitalldukish authorities have not yet confirmed the nature of the incident, citing the difficulty of accessing affected areas, which are under militant control, and ongoing security concerns. Emergency response teams are said to be moving cautiously amid fears of secondary exposure.
International observers and humanitarian organizations have called for immediate, independent investigations and unrestricted access to the region, warning that the use of a nerve agent, if verified, would constitute a grave violation of international law.
No group has claimed responsibility for the reported attacks. Although the TPA-PV government has denied any responsibility, calling the reported incidents, “heinous attacks on the Mitalldukish people.” Regional governments are closely monitoring developments amid growing fears of escalation and a rapidly deteriorating humanitarian and refugee crisis.

Reports of Nerve Agent Use Deepen Crisis in Northern Mitallduk as Investigators Draw Parallels to October Missile Strike
Med Karazh, Mitallduk— Alarming new details have emerged in what international monitors are calling the most serious chemical weapons incident in Southern Cordilia in history, following reports that a deadly nerve agent was released across multiple remote towns and villages in Northern Mitallduk earlier this week.
While provisional Mitalldukish authorities have stopped short of formally confirming the substance involved, medical descriptions provided by frontline clinicians, aid workers, and surviving residents point overwhelmingly toward exposure to a fast-acting neurotoxin. Victims reportedly exhibited acute respiratory distress, seizures, pinpoint pupils, muscle paralysis, and loss of consciousness— all symptoms consistent with organophosphate nerve agents.
Local hospitals and improvised clinics, many operating out of schools and temples damaged in earlier fighting, have been overwhelmed. Aid groups say antidotes such as atropine and pralidoxime are in critically short supply, and protective equipment for responders remains scarce.
“This is not something caused by conventional explosives or industrial accidents,” said one international physician working near the affected zone, speaking on condition of anonymity due to security risks. “The symptom pattern is unmistakable.”

Assembly Passes World’s First “Human Creative Sovereignty” Act, Bans Generative AI in Key Sectors
Aitzondoa - In a historic and an unprecedented move, the Izarian Assembly passed the Human Creative Sovereignty Act late last night.
The law defines a prohibited “artificial creation” as any artistic, literary, or functional output where the primary creative and formative decisions are made by an machine-learning model. It applies to all commercial publishing houses, media outlets, advertising agencies, software firms operating in Izaria, and public institutions. The Izarian National Library and all state-funded cultural grants are now legally required to certify the “fully human provenance” of any work they acquire or fund. Violations carry severe fines and, for repeat corporate offenders, the revocation of business licenses.
“We are a small island nation in the middle of the Mediterranean,” said President of the Hiri Mikel Ilbarra in a public address. “Our actions may seem minor on a global scale, but it is through these deliberate choices that we define our character and, we hope, encourage principled steps elsewhere.”
Enforcement will be managed by a newly established regulatory office meant to oversee corporate matters and assist in enforcing artistic integrity. The law is scheduled to take effect in 90 days.
Izaakian AI company Constellation, the creators of the Hive and Synapse AI systems have said they do not plan to comply with Izarian “Human Creative Sovereignty Act”.
The spokesperson also said, that whilst they do support an international regulatory framework for AI, the company will only follow Izaakian AI regulations until an international framework is in place.
Different sources and journalists within Syldain have claimed that the recent anti-drug campaign, started by the Syldaean Government, has started to bear fruit.
It’s estimated that around 800 tons of cocaine have been seized over the last month in several places of the Republic. Many clandestine laboratories have been raided, and their workers and other drug traffickers already going through the necessary judicial process and being imprisoned, with more than 180 people already arrested.
President Maxi Stahl has applauded the effort by Syldaean law enforcement agencies, claiming that under his presidency, he’ll make sure the Government ensures no more Syldeans will die from drug use. This, of course, is very far from being achieved, as 8000 people passed away last year from drug overdoses and other causes related to drugs.
The President has also stated his support for campaigns to support the victims from the drug traffic, claiming that those who have bought drugs from the traffickers and manufacturers did so out of necessity, due to psychological or physical trauma, which need to be taken care of by associations, psychologists and doctors.
Transsunerian Interior Minister Maxmilian Cipsmaler has commended Syldain’s anti-drug campaign and has announced that he would like to deepen the two nations’ cooperation on combating smuggling and trafficking in the Cordilian Arm.
Diplomatic Evacuations and Travel Advisory Issued Amid Rising Tensions
Yayyára, Krauanagaz— Krauanagaz and Okhoa have confirmed the evacuation of non-essential diplomatic staff from their missions in Zuhlgan, signaling heightened concern over the rapidly deteriorating security situation in the country. Officials in both governments described the move as precautionary but acknowledged that conditions on the ground have become increasingly unpredictable over the past 48 hours.
In a parallel development, the Krauanagazan State Department issued an urgent travel advisory this afternoon warning citizens of “potential civil disturbances in major urban centers” across Zuhlgan. The advisory urges Krauanagazan nationals to avoid large gatherings, monitor local media, and prepare contingency plans should transport or communications be disrupted.
While neither government has detailed the specific intelligence prompting the evacuations, diplomatic sources cite rising political unrest, sporadic clashes near government districts, and growing uncertainty over the ability of local authorities to maintain order. Essential diplomatic personnel remain in place, and both Krauanagaz and Okhoa stated they are maintaining open communication channels with Zuhlgan officials.
The coordinated nature of the evacuations has fueled speculation about broader regional implications, as observers warn that instability in Zuhlgan could ripple outward amid already strained relations and overlapping security crises across Southern Cordilia.
TPA-PV Announces International Inspections of Chemical Attack Sites
Ta’ana, Mitallduk— The TPA-PV military government announced late this evening that it will permit international inspection teams to access sites linked to the recent alleged chemical attacks in northern Mitallduk, marking a significant shift in its public posture amid mounting global pressure.
In a brief televised statement, TPA-PV officials said the decision was intended to “demonstrate transparency and cooperation with the international community,” and confirmed that inspectors from multiple neutral and multilateral organizations would be allowed to examine affected towns, collect environmental samples, and interview medical personnel and local authorities. The government did not specify a timeline for the inspections or identify which organizations would be granted access.
The announcement follows days of intense scrutiny after reports of mass casualties consistent with exposure to a nerve agent sparked widespread condemnation and calls for an independent investigation. Foreign governments and human rights groups have repeatedly questioned the TPA-PV’s earlier restrictions on access to the region.
Despite the pledge, skepticism remains high. Observers note that the military government retains control over security, transport, and communications in the affected areas, raising concerns about whether inspectors will be able to operate freely. International responses are expected in the coming hours as organizations assess the scope and credibility of the proposed inspections.
Leaked Intelligence Briefing Links Zuhlgan Reform Plans to Diplomatic Evacuations
BREAKING— A leaked Krauanagazan intelligence briefing circulating among senior officials and allied governments outlines detailed assessments of Zuhlgan’s rumored governance reforms, shedding new light on why Krauanagaz and Okhoa abruptly evacuated nonessential diplomatic staff from Zuhlgan earlier this week.
According to the briefing, intelligence agencies assessed that the impending dissolution of Zuhlgan’s Divine Committee and the creation of new governing bodies— including the Autarkul Assembly and an advisory chamber— represent a period of heightened internal volatility rather than genuine liberalization. Analysts warn that elite power struggles, clerical resistance, and uncertainty over the Arkava’s consolidation of authority could trigger rapid and unpredictable security crackdowns in Ozákla and other major urban centers.
The document reportedly cites elevated risks to foreign diplomatic missions during the transition, including spontaneous unrest, factional infighting within security services, and potential actions by The Eyes aimed at preempting dissent or defections. One section of the briefing describes the reform period as a “high-risk opacity window,” during which formal institutions are in flux but coercive structures remain fully active.
Sources familiar with the evacuation decision say these assessments directly informed the coordinated withdrawal of nonessential personnel by Krauanagaz and Okhoa, alongside recent travel advisories warning of “potential civil disturbances.” Officials stressed that the move was precautionary, not punitive, but acknowledged that confidence in Zuhlgan’s internal stability has waned sharply.
Neither the Krauanagazan intelligence services nor Zuhlgan’s government have commented on the authenticity of the leaked document. Zuhlgan state media continues to frame the reforms as evidence of unity and renewal, while regional governments and diplomatic missions quietly brace for further developments.
