The Beginning of the End:

After the fall of Krum, the SRA has begun its final push on the northern regions of the country. Even though the republican army has faced several difficulties due to several fortifications built by the General’s Kingdom, the republicans have still managed to advance in several directions, and are now a mere 22 kilometers away from Orlitsa.

Both factions within the Kingdom face severe issues within their armies, as the number of soldiers in their regiments have continued to dwindle. Even with mechanized and armored pieces of equipment in their inventory, republican militias have been able to win several battles simply due to an overwhelming numerical advantage and use of irregular tactics.

The situation looks the most grim for the Knyaz, whose forces are currently engaged in the city of Boyarovo against the General’s Kingdom, after being pushed back from the city of Rusalets. The Generals have been able to advance without much problem into Knyaz-controlled territory due to the situation in Sarnitsa tying up Knyaz-aligned troops.

The Situation in Sarnitsa:

The official capital city of the Kingdom of Visrodin, where the Royal Palace is located, is currently experiencing several engagements and battles between the SRA and Knyaz-aligned troops. While the republicans engaged in the battles are mostly guerillas and militia units, the Knyaz troops consist mostly of professional mercenaries. However, the republicans greatly outnumber the royalist forces and have practically laid siege to a large chunk of the city, which includes the Royal Palace with the royal family inside.

Some say it is safe to say that, with the General’s advance to the west of Sarnitsa in Boyarovo, and the siege of Sarnitsa, the Knyaz’s days are numbered. Surrounded by republicans in all directions, it is most likely that the siege will not last long, due to supply and loyalty issues with the mercenary regiments and royal guards.

The End of Rucheyski:

After very intense combat in the capital city of Sarnitsa, republican forces have successfully managed to defeat the mercenaries and royal guards hired by the Knyaz. Many of these mercenaries willingly surrendered, due to the grim situation they were facing: a complete siege and encirclement of their positions. Under the imminent and certain threat of death, many simply valued their lives over the monetary reward by the Knyaz. The SRA has stated that foreign mercenaries will be allowed to return to their home countries without any consequences.

After the defeat of the royal guard, there was a chaotic entry of several republican, communist and anarchist infantrymen into the royal palace. Several skirmishes between remaining royal guards and these republican forces broke out in the inside, but the royal guards were unevitably overran by the large amount of republican troops assaulting the palace.

These republican forces started pillaging and ransacking everything in the palace. Several fires were started as well. Meanwhile, the Knyaz and his family were in the palace’s basement bunker. Some royal guards did reveal that the Knyaz had been staying in the bunker ever since the fall of Krum, and even before that, his paranoia still made him stay several days in there as well, just in case.

The Knyaz, the Knyaginia and the two princess heard the commotion in the palace, after bullet and artillery fire had stopped on the outside. It was getting closer, until the republicans finally made it to the bunker. The door was bust open with an explosion, and the royal family faced the republicans for the first and last time.

Knyaz Viktor III Rucheyski, Knyaginia Angelina Kostova and their kids, the 17 year old Yakub Rucheyski, and 4 year old Matey Rucheyski suddenly saw a last flash of light as several infantrymen, supposedly communists and anarchists, opened indiscriminate fire on the royal family. All four of them were executed on the spot.

Upon hearing the news, the leader of the SRA, Marko Bunev held a speech declaring the end of the Kingdom of Visrodin. He stated that now that the royals are gone, it will finally be time for the common people to have the power of choosing and deciding the future of the nation. With the fall of Visrodin, he has called for the formation of the United Slovesen Republic.

Meanwhile, the fight continues to the west of Sarnitsa, as the Orlitsa Regime, led by Yoan Tanev has not laid down its arms. Marko Bunev has called for the remaining soldiers and officers fighting for the Orlitsa Regime to surrender, as doing so will spare them from a harsh sentence once Orlitsa falls. Yoan Tanev has responded, saying that they are the legitimate government of Visrodin, and that the regicide performed by the republicans is proof of their terrorist identity.

With five days remaining until Okhoa’s historic status referendum, the protectorate has become a pressure cooker of competing visions for the future. Developing— The Krauanagazan federal government has filed an emergency lawsuit to halt the implementation of the controversial “strategic integration zones” proposed by officials in Krautallaz Province. The lawsuit, filed by the Department of Justice, argues that the plan violates constitutional protections, federal refugee law, and international human rights obligations as well as obligations under the 1976 Refugee Rights Accord with Mitallduk and Zuhlgan.

The proposed zones, intended to house and monitor over 350,000 Mitalldukish refugees in the province, have drawn sharp criticism for their coercive assimilation framework, raising fears of forced cultural reprogramming and ethnic surveillance.

“This is not integration, it is institutional segregation,” said Deputy Attorney General Nelai Ombruvan in a statement. “The federal government cannot and will not permit provincial overreach that undermines human dignity, civil liberty, and the integrity of our national commitments.”

A federal injunction hearing is scheduled for early next week in the Yayyára Federal District Court. Provincial leaders in Krautallaz have yet to respond publicly, however sources indicates that the governor intends to fight this out in court.

The Final Battle:

After an intense but quick advance on the southern direction towards Orlitsa, the republicans have finally made their way into the city. With the northern provinces which border UPRAN already under republican control, the old Generals only really control the cities of Orlitsa and Boyarovo at this point.

With many lower-ranking officers and soldiers accepting the surrender deal Marko Bunev proposed, the last remaining troops the Orlitsa Regime has are diehard loyalists, who will only accept death before anything else. The Generals, as well as the comatose Anton Todorov, are thought to be hiding in the bunker of the Orlitsa Palace. Some have also considered the idea that the leaders of such regime have already fled the city, but this is unlikely, due to the contested status of the Orlitsa Port, and the seizure of the Visrodin Naval Assets by the republicans.

At this point, it is completely evident that the situation for the General’s Kingdom is completely lost. Controlling under 2000 km^2 of area, not including the islands, a surrender will either occur in the coming hours, or the Orlitsa Regime leadership will be completely crushed.

Diplomatic Firestorm Erupts as Izaakia Casts Doubt on Okhoa Referendum Legitimacy

Alkantara, Krauanagaz— In response to Izaakia’s strong condemnation of the upcoming Okhoan referendum, declaring it will not recognize the results due to what it describes as a, “sustained campaign of electoral suppression and intimidation by the Krauanagaz Colonial Apparatus.” The Okhoa Regional Council dismissed Izaakia’s statement as “premature and politically motivated,” affirming that voting procedures “remain in full compliance with Okhoa and international law.”

Chairperson of Okhoa’s National Electoral Commission, Eryaka M’Turu, emphasized that polling stations would be “open, secure, and monitored by local and international observers.” M’Turu insists procedures comply with domestic and international law, citing the 417 accredited international observers.

The Krauanagazan State Department denounced Izaakia’s remarks as “neocolonial meddling in the internal affairs of a sovereign region.” A department spokesperson accused Izaakia of “fueling instability by emboldening separatist elements with no democratic mandate.” Secretary of State Darius Korin said at a meeting with Okhoa officials that, “Unlike Izaakia’s suppression of its own peoples, Okhoa’s democratic process will be respected.”

Zuhlgan’s Foreign Affairs Office issued a brief communiqué reiterating its “full confidence in the electoral stewardship of the Okhoa administration under the protective care of the Dominion.” The Council called Izaakia’s statement “provocative and unfounded,” and warned of “grave diplomatic consequences for efforts to delegitimize the spiritual unity of the Dominion’s protectorates.”

In a sharply worded rebuke, World Forum Chief Observer Héloïse Martin criticized Izaakia’s unilateral decision to reject the referendum results, calling it “an inappropriate and destabilizing intrusion into a legally mandated regional process.” While acknowledging concerns over transparency, Martin stated that “Izaakia’s preemptive disavowal undermines the very principles of self-determination and international oversight it claims to uphold.”

She also warned member states against “issuing blanket delegitimizations without factual substantiation or engagement with official observation channels.” Encouraging diplomatic dialogue rather than "unilateral denunciations that risk inflaming tensions.”
