BREAKING— Zuhlgani state media announced today that Zuhlgan’s armed forces will begin securing key humanitarian aid corridors in conflict-ravaged Southern Mitallduk, following what Zuhlgani officials described as a “strategic understanding” reached with the provisional military authorities currently administering the region.

In a televised statement, Lieutenant General Dorezz ul-Tennath of the Zuhlgani Defense Command confirmed that a “limited deployment” of Zuhlgani ground and aerial units will begin within 72 hours to, “ensure the safe passage of relief convoys and stabilize critical supply routes.” The statement offered few details regarding the nature of the agreement with Mitallduk’s military government, referring to it only as a “bilateral coordination protocol aimed at minimizing civilian suffering.”

The move comes amid mounting international concern over worsening conditions in southern Mitallduk, where millions remain displaced and aid deliveries have faced repeated delays due to ongoing insurgent activity and logistical breakdowns. Observers note that the announcement follows weeks of rumored backchannel discussions between Zuhlgani defense officials and unnamed Mitalldukish commanders.

While Zuhlgani officials emphasized the “strictly humanitarian” nature of the mission, opposition leaders abroad have raised questions about the transparency of the agreement and the long-term intentions of Zuhlgan in the region.

Humanitarian Aid Blocked, Corridors Denied Amid Growing Siege-Like Conditions in Varekko

Varekko, Okhoa— Varekko remains on edge as the security lockdown imposed across much of the Okhoan capital shows no signs of lifting, and new reports suggest the crisis is rapidly escalating beyond the control of local authorities. Residents in the hardest-hit districts now face siege-like conditions, with essential supplies dwindling, emergency services overwhelmed, and humanitarian access blocked.

According to local charities, several aid convoys attempting to deliver food, water, and medical equipment to northern neighborhoods were turned back at military checkpoints early Friday morning. One convoy, operated by the International Federation for Humanitarian Aid, was allegedly fired upon as it approached the Kavressa borough, a district under rolling blackouts and home to some of the largest displaced populations in the city. “There is no electricity, no running water, and people are afraid to leave their homes,” said one Kavressa resident reached via satellite phone. “Even the pharmacies are nearly empty. The only thing that moves at night are drones and soldiers.”

Just Now— The Krauanagazan government has formally requested urgent clarification from Qaweritoyu following a highly publicized outburst by Prime Minister Walton earlier today, in which he suggested he would “cut ties immediately” with Krauanagaz if provoked.

Speaking at a scheduled press briefing at the State Department Office Building, spokesperson Yuren Hadvazk called the Prime Minister’s remarks “undiplomatic, impulsive, and potentially damaging to decades of strategic cooperation.”

“We are deeply concerned by the Prime Minister’s offhand threat to sever relations with Krauanagaz,” Hadvazk stated. “If this is to be taken as official policy, it would represent a grave departure from mutual commitments and will necessitate a full reassessment of our bilateral agreements.”

Sources within the State Department confirm that a review of intelligence-sharing and trade accords with Qaweritoyu is already underway, pending further developments. The department is also preparing a private diplomatic communiqué to Qaweritoyu’s foreign office seeking confirmation of the government’s stance.

Tatallap Case Concludes with Arrests and Reforms as Federal Investigation Wraps Up

Tatallap, Krauanagaz— Over a year after the Capital District Court of Appeals’ historic 8-1 decision mandated federal intervention in the Tatallap shooting investigation, the Krauanagaz Department of Justice has concluded its inquiry with a slate of indictments, policy recommendations, and a joint provincial-federal reform agreement hailed as a watershed in intergovernmental cooperation.

Federal agents, operating under close judicial supervision, concluded that five officers of the Zhzoatal Provincial Guard acted with “gross negligence and racially-biased intent” during the January 2, 2024 shooting in Tatallap, which left 31 unarmed civilians dead as well as hundreds injured, and sparked nationwide protests. All five were arrested Tuesday morning following a sealed indictment from a federal grand jury. Charges include manslaughter, murder, deprivation of rights under color of law, obstruction of justice, and falsifying official reports.

BREAKING— A leaked internal memo, allegedly from within the OCDP’s Strategic Liaison Division and shared with trusted sources in Ka’atria, suggests that multiple units have refused recent orders to disperse unarmed demonstrators or conduct night raids on suspected safehouses. Though the authenticity of the document remains unverified, it has sparked speculation that a split may be forming within Okhoa’s fractured power structure.

Notably, no new public appearance has been made by any member of the Regional Council, including Chairman Drian Vollat, whose status remains unclear. Deputy Chairwoman Sya Levak and Councillors Beti and Selea have now been missing for seven full days, prompting renewed calls for an international fact-finding mission.

The Zuhlgani navy is reportedly conducting surveillance flights over Varekko, though officials deny rumors of a possible peacekeeping deployment. In a statement to the press, Krauanagazan President Thalira Renkara urged “maximum restraint from all sides” and condemned the “targeting of civil society by security forces.”

Ka’atria, Okhoa— After weeks of escalating unrest across the region and more than a week of siege-like conditions in Varekko, a fragile calm appears to be returning to parts of the Okhoan capital. International monitors and local observers are reporting tentative signs of de-escalation: several missing members of the Regional Council have reemerged, aid convoys have been granted limited access to besieged districts, and communications blackouts are gradually being lifted in previously isolated areas.

The crisis had reached a critical point in recent days. Humanitarian convoys were repeatedly turned away at military checkpoints. Large swaths of the city were plunged into rolling blackouts, and there were credible reports of targeted detentions and armed standoffs between security forces and local militias. However, a coordinated diplomatic initiative—led by the World Forum (WF) and quietly supported by Zuhlgan and Krauanagaz—appears to have pressured the Okhoan Regional Council into authorizing limited humanitarian corridors late Wednesday evening.

As territorial control and the frontline keeps changing, several sources estimate that the conflict in Visrodin has reached a number of around 250-300k casualties. This is a very rough estimate, as there are limited accounts of the military losses by the part of the SRA, considering it’s mainly comprised of disorganized militia groups.

This estimate also includes civilian casualties, both as a result of military action and repression by both sides. This estimate is still a really high and pessimistic estimate, considering high levels of repression and combat losses by both sides.

Vanished: Tracing Vinse’s Footprint from Krauanagaz to the Shadows of Zuhlgan

A Disappearance, a Legacy, and Unanswered Questions

More than a year after the abrupt disappearance of Zhukrau Vinse—once hailed as a unifying populist and later branded a subversive conspirator—Krauanagaz remains divided not only by his politics, but by his absence.

On February 21, 2024, federal agents raided Vinse’s residence in Ket’hran. He was gone. Despite an active arrest warrant citing conspiracy, sedition, and collusion with foreign states, no confirmed sightings have followed.

But newly uncovered intelligence files, commercial shipping logs, and witness testimonies collected by The Scope reveal the rough contours of what may have been a premeditated flight facilitated by foreign intermediaries, militant networks, and covert regional sympathizers. The investigation also raises deeper questions about the resilience of the clandestine apparatus Vinse left behind.

The referendum, scheduled for May 26, will allow Okhoans to choose from six distinct governance pathways, ranging from full integration into the Holy Dominion of Zuhlgan to a roadmap for eventual independence.

While Dominion officials have hailed the referendum as a testament to democratic plurality, independent observers and civil society organizations warn that the process is unfolding under a cloud of coercion, limited transparency, and structural imbalance.

The Fall of Krum:

After over a month of intense fighting, the city of Krum has been completely taken over by SRA forces. Large sections of the city are in ruins, and the number of civilian casualties from the conflict in the city is unknown.

The SRA repeatedly accused and condemned the General’s Kingdom for using civilians as human shields, due to their refusal and inaction to evacuate and relocate the city’s large population to other areas with no active combat. The republican forces began their advance on the southern districts of the city, and thus they are the most devastated districts. However, due to the evacuation effort of republican forces of the residents of said southern districts, it is estimated that the casualties of that area are much lower than those which were controlled by the Kingdom for most of the battle.

Krum, the most populated city of Visrodin, now looks like it has gone through an apocalypse. Any future effort to reconstruct the ghost-city looking parts of it will certainly cost billions. However, nothing will be able to reconstruct the damage done to the civilian population exposed to the battles.

Now, the situation of the Kingdom has worsened by a large degree. Krum served the Kingdom as a fortress and logistics center that managed to halt any advance of the republican forces further north, to the capital cities of both the General’s and Knyaz’s Kingdoms. With the south completely in control of republican forces, the final push to the north has begun.

The north was not even safe to begin with, due to the existence of the northern mountain republican guerillas. Controlling the mountainous territories close to the border with UPRAN, the guerillas have reportedly increased the intensity of skirmishes, beginning an advance to the capital city of Sarnitsa, where the Knyaz is.

Krautallaz, Krauanagaz— A senior official in Krautallaz’s Department of Public Safety has ignited controversy after revealing plans for the creation of “strategic integration zones" in border regions, drawing sharp condemnation from civil rights groups and Mitalldukish leaders.

The proposal would reportedly involve the creation of heavily monitored residential and administrative zones designed to “facilitate integration, enforce cultural norms, and ensure national security” for the over 2.1 million Mitalldukish refugees who have entered Krauanagaz since the onset of the Mitallduk Civil Crisis.

Krautallaz, already strained by over a year of continuous refugee influx from Mitallduk, has been at the epicenter of growing tensions over resource allocation, housing shortages, and intercommunal relations. Provincial authorities insist the proposal is a security measure to prevent infiltration by armed groups and to manage unregulated settlement growth.

Critics argue that the move amounts to coercive cultural reprogramming, targeting vulnerable populations under the pretense of public safety. Human rights groups have condemned the language of the plan, warning that the zones could lead to the forced erosion of ethnic identity, language suppression, and surveillance-based segregation.

The Krauanagazan government has not officially endorsed the proposal, and President Thalira Renkara has yet to comment. However, sources within the Department of Justice suggest that several federal agencies are now reviewing the legality and constitutionality of such zones, particularly in light of ongoing obligations to the Refugee Rights Accord of 1976.
