New Deputy Prime Minister Christina Rivera has suggested that she is not afraid to challenge the Krauanagazan Government. She was asked, ‘Would yourself and the Prime Minister ever consider punishing them [the Krauanagazan Government]?’ She responded, ‘Yes, we would, and we do not rely too heavily on them to function as a country so it would be no problem, very easy, high tariffs, taxes on their goods and services or outright cancel them, whatever it takes to make them shut up.’

Royal Penguin Airlines celebrated the 50th anniversary of the airline with Anniversary Week, which allows passengers to experience what it was like on the airline 50 years ago when it was formed following the merger of Kalaki Airways, and Seboro International Airlines. Passengers are still recommended to reserve tickets ahead of time online due to high demand, and multiple accounts of sellouts.
President Button, PM Rombold, FM Blanc and Defence Minister Black held top secret talks with senior defence officials today in the Foreign Office. It is believed the highly unusual talks were in preparation for a foreign state visit, however neither the state, nor discussion points were released. The meeting is believed to be classified as Top Secret - Izaakian Eyes Only.
The USI Supreme Court rules that Diplomatic Immunity in Izaakia only applies to actions carried out in their official duties for the foreign state. The decision opens up several pending cases against embassies and embassy staff, including a manslaughter charge for an embassy worker that killed a pedestrian whilst driving over the drink driving limit. Additionally, the Department for Industry and Trade has issued a deadline of May 30th for embassies to comply with Izaakian Health and Safety, Minimum Wage and Employment Laws.
Storm Eleanor reached its peak, all outside activities in Livana’s western coast have been halted. President Trenton enacted emergency statute to mobilise all emergency services on high alerts in all coastal counties. One death has been reported from Torinus County, of a wharf worker who was flung into the ocean by the wind.
The Kliegmean Embassy in Izaakia has agreed to the terms by the Izaakian Ministry.
Zuhlgan Condemns Izaakian Supreme Court Ruling, Warns of Diplomatic Repercussions
BREAKING— The Zuhlgani Foreign Office has issued a strongly worded condemnation of the United States of Izaakia’s Supreme Court ruling narrowing the scope of diplomatic immunity. The landmark decision, which allows prosecution of foreign diplomats for actions deemed outside of “official duties,” has drawn sharp criticism from Zuhlgan, which has called it “a grave violation of established international norms.”
In a statement released just minutes ago, the Zuhlgani government warned that the move, “represents a dangerous precedent that undermines the foundation of global diplomatic engagement,” and vowed to, “reconsider the safety and legal standing of Izaakian diplomatic staff operating within the Dominion.”
The ruling comes as several pending cases against foreign embassy staff— including a high-profile manslaughter charge against a diplomat accused of driving under the influence— are expected to proceed under Izaakian law. Zuhlgan also objected to a new Izaakian directive requiring all foreign embassies to comply with domestic labor, health, and safety laws by May 30.
“This is not about justice. This is about encroachment,” the Zuhlgani statement reads. “We reject any unilateral reinterpretation of the Grovne Convention that places our personnel at the mercy of politically motivated courts.”
Zuhlgan has summoned the Izaakian Ambassador to Ozákla for urgent consultations and is reportedly weighing restrictions on Izaakian diplomatic movements and legal reciprocity.
International Observers Set to Arrive in Okhoa Next Week as Referendum Campaigning Begins
Varekko, Okhoa — The Zuhlgani government has confirmed that the first wave of the 417 international election observers will begin arriving in Okhoa early next week, coinciding with the official start of campaigning for the high-stakes May independence referendum.
A spokesperson for the Zuhlgani Foreign Office stated today that preparations are “on schedule” and that logistical arrangements are being finalized to ensure observers have access to critical voting sites, campaign events, and regional monitoring hubs. The observers— drawn from the World Forum, CHRW, and several regional democratic institutions— will be granted credentials to monitor the electoral process throughout the Okhoa Protectorate.
“This is a key moment for the integrity of the referendum,” the Foreign Office said in a statement. “Their presence reinforces our commitment to transparency, security, and the sovereign will of the Okhoan people.”
With tensions still running high across the Gulf of Good Omen and allegations of foreign interference continuing to circulate, the arrival of these observers is seen as a critical step toward restoring confidence in the process. Security protocols are expected to remain tight, particularly in regions where militant activity and political unrest have intensified in recent weeks.
Krauanagaz Pushes Back Amid Rising Tensions with Qaweritoyu Leadership
Alkantara, Krauanagaz— The Krauanagazan government has issued a sharp rebuke to recent comments made by top officials in Qaweritoyu, calling them “needlessly inflammatory” and “unbecoming of responsible diplomatic partners,” as tensions between the two nations continue to escalate over allegations of regional destabilization and political posturing.
Izaakian Foreign Secretary Scarlet Blanc responds to criticism of the Izaakian Supreme Courts decision on diplomatic immunity, saying
“I think it’s correct that diplomatic staff shouldn’t be immune to criminal prosecution where they commit serious violations of Izaakian law. We expect our diplomatic staff abroad to behave to the highest standards, and for them to be respectful of local laws and customs. Sadly however, staff from some states have used their protected status to avoid charges for blatant criminality and negligence, and this cannot go on.
Additionally, we believe that foreign embassy staff based in Izaakia should be awarded the same high level of workers rights and protections as ordinary Izaakians, so they can enjoy a safe and fair working environment. Cases where domestic staff have been brought from a home country and been victims of abuse have gone on too long, and will stop.”
President Button responded to international criticism of the decision by saying, “If they don’t like it they can **** off back home.”

The Duchy of Olasta announced the closure of Suttik Aska Gretik International Airport in 2026 to airliners, as the traffic volumes rise, and downtown Suttik expands. The Duchy also said that international flights would be moved further out of the city to Suttik Rey Folitak Intentional Airport, 40 miles from Suttik Aska Gretik, due to noise pollution, and a hard approach near the runway resulting in reduced usage of available runway. The airport will still be used for smaller regional twin prop planes, general aviation, and rebuilt with a new site for the Duchy’s Coast Guard.
Secretary of Interior, Yoan Tanev, has been officially recognized by the Cabinet of Generals as the Interim-Chairman, for as long as Anton Todorov’s coma lasts. He was reportedly elected by a majority vote among the generals in Todorov’s cabinet.
Tanev has began directing the actions and direction of the Kingdom, with much less hesitancy compared to Anton Todorov. The Interim-Chairman has ordered the arrest of Knyaz Viktor III, under suspicion of being the source of Todorov’s assassination attempt. There was a skirmish in the surroundings of the Royal Palace in Sarnitsa between military police and the reconstituted Royal Guard (made up by mercenaries hired by the Knyaz).
The Royal Guard managed to hold off against the military police. The Knyaz, upon learning about the new general ruler’s intention of arresting him, has publicly denounced the military regime, calling it and Yoan Tanev’s rule completely illegitimate. The head of state has also began establishing a court, formed by nobles and businessmen who support his rule from around the area.
Mihael Karapetrov, Baron of Slovesopolis who was appointed War and Security Councillor, has called out for soldiers and officers still fighting in the side of the “Kingdom” to fight for the true, Kingdom, instead of Anton Todorov’s illegitimate sham-Kingdom. The success of the message is yet to be seen. So far, it seems that it has only affected the allegiance of regiments in towns around Sarnitsa’s general area.
Visrodin in Turmoil: Political Vacuum, Urban Warfare, and Alleged Foreign Meddling
Orlitsa / Sarnitsa— The Kingdom of Visrodin teeters on the brink of collapse as internal power struggles deepen and two neighboring states are accused of covertly intervening. What began with Chairman Anton Todorov’s sudden coma has spiraled into open warfare in Ardino, a contested capital shift to Orlitsa, and a rift between the interim regime in Sarnitsa and the exiled Knyaz Viktor III.
On April 4, Chairman Anton Todorov was rushed to a hospital in Orlitsa after suffering seizures. A draft directive bearing the Knyaz’s seal— found abandoned in Todorov’s new residence— sparked rumors of an assassination plot. Nationwide unrest boiled over in Ardino the following day, where protesters and soldiers backing the Socialist Revolutionary Alliance (SRA) overran the Royal Palace, looting and torching relics. Priceless paintings, sculptures, and golden regalia were carted off or destroyed during the April 5 uprising. Fires still smolder in the once–royal residence.
An un-named person previously seen arriving at a closed meeting of the Parliamentary Defence Committee on an agenda item named “Hell-Fire” was spotted boarding Bomber Command One for Sedunn with President Button.
The Republic of Samakov:
The SRA-S (Samakov regiment of the SRA) have claimed total control of the socialist forces over the Territory of Samakov, an exclave of the Kingdom. The last remaining forces of the Visrodin Army in the largest cities of the exclave, Svetlozar and Planinska have reportedly surrendered, after being forced into smaller and smaller areas due to their inability to defend rural areas and other towns of the exclave successfully.
The Visrodin Army found itself in a big numerical disadvantage in Samakov, and the mountainous terrain made combat difficult. However, the factor which gave the SRA a clear advantage was the lack of activity from the Visrodin Air Force. The Air Force, which is focused mainly in the fronts near Krum, Sarnitsa and Ardino, did not posses a number large enough of aircraft to justify their activity in Samakov, mainly due to the distance from the other fronts.
The main commander of the SRA-S Latshezar Zaikov has been elected President of the Republic of Samakov by the recently established Worker’s Councils in the territory. He has declared his intention to stabilize the territory and to begin the political and international consolidation of a United Slovesen Republic. He has also stated his full support for the SRA in the mainland, and that large sections of the SRA-S will head to other fronts to aid the rest of the Revolution.
With the SRA now having a safe haven, away from any possible offensive by the Visrodin Army, it is clear that any possible defeat of the SRA would take years. The Republic of Samakov, with its 2 million people and mountainous terrain, would have to be invaded through the coast, and that is a feat the Visrodin Navy and Army were barely able to perform even before the start of the conflict.
Industy critizises lack of economic plans by the orharanian government
Voices in the industry and work unions grow louder as the sustainability problem of Orharans industry grows more immanent. Surrounding this debate for official economic plans the demand of Orharan officially joining the CMEC as a member become louder. Official government reactions are yet to be expected.
A War of Terror:
Today, at approximately 12:07 PM, a division of bomber aircraft from the Visrodin Air Force has unleashed a massive and indiscriminate bombing attack on the city of Lazurovo, the de-facto capital of the republican forces. Due to the situation of the conflict, the immediate impact of the attack will not be able to be precisely measured, but the republicans have claimed that up to 6000 Visrodin civilians could have been killed, and an even larger number of wounded is estimated as well.
This very much recent humanitarian catastrophe is only one of the ways terror is establishing a firm reign on all parts of Visrodin’s society. There are increasing reports of socialist, communist and anarchist groups harassing and killing any member of the upper-class, clergy and those opposed to the revolution in republican-controlled territories. The latest high-relevancy case of this is the kidnapping of the Duke of Samakov, Srebrin II Borisov, and his family by communist elements of the SRA-S. He was then publicly executed, as well as his entire family, including children, and any other member of his court.
On the other hand, the military Kingdom, other than executing illegal and indiscriminate military action against civilians, is also stalking, executing and harassing anyone who may be a socialist, or pro-Knyaz traitor.
The Sedunnic foreign minister has issued a statement on the bombing of Lazurovo: “We condemn this act of terror, unbecoming of a civilised government. We [the Sedunnic Government] will take a more severe stance on the matter and hope to work on an expedited WF resolution.”
