The Strelna has publicly stated that it will not pursue adventurism into the Gulf Crisis, considering the volatility of the situation there and the much more important crisis in its neighbour Termina. Strekna spokesperson Konstantin Chernenko has stated that President Voroshilov and his cabinet are in talks with CE and the global community, in order to form appropriate responses to the situation in Termina.
As Termina descends into Chaos, the Kliegmean Economy is also struck, with stocks falling to the lowest it has in the year 2024. Due to high economic activity between the two nations, the nation’s industry is in crisis mode, trying to salvage as much as possible from Termina.
It is reported that 70% of Kliegmean citizens who were in Termina due to business or other reasons, have left Termina due to unrest in the nation even before the violence began, as tensions rose steadily throughout the year.
Citizens of Yatagaras, a city on the Kliegmean side of the Mipha Island, have stated they’ve seen military vehicles move through the city on social media. MoD Officials has explained this as routine military drills. Former military personnel state that while there is a military drill scheduled usually at this time of year, the scale is rather large.
