The Yttrian government has lauded Vrigny for polling its citizens on whether religious-based discrimination should continue. The government praised their counterparts for, “…taking the public’s opinion into account while denying basic human rights,” calling it, “… true Democracy in action.”
In related news, our team here at MRB News will be releasing a survey next week to determine whether or not yttrians actually need the right to an education.

Valkyrian Foreign Minister Avianna Aldridge issued a statement condemning Archduke Ikaros VIII of Atlantis, “It is ludicrous and inflammatory to suggest that the Valkyrian Republic is abrogating the right to private property. The Housing Act 2023 forbids the use of private property as rental occupancies. This is far different from a total prohibition of private property. When this law enters into effect in 2030, people in Valkyria will continue having the right to own the home and land they live on.”

The workers party of Reizen has firmly condemned the Frost Government for reinstating ex- Major general Amano. WPR Party Secretary Kanda Jiyuu asserted that the reinstatement was not only a stab in the back for Reizeners hoping to continue path of reconciliation and reconstruction but a threat to regional security. The WPR Party Secretary also called on the Entente to pressure the empire into reigning in or reassigning the major general outside the DMZ, warning that the ex-rebel group will take actions to ensure Reizen province isn’t dragged into another conflict.

Today, the demolishing of the Rijeke Prison Complex has just finished. Said complex was falling apart since at least 10 years, with prisoners being crammed into inhumane cells during the dictatorship. Sadly, the cells were pretty much the best thing about the complex, as human testing and torture were mainstream in the place until 2014, when the dictatorship fell.
Now that the prison complex is demolished, many Vrignyans are glad to see one of the main sources of civil rights abuse during the previous dictatorship gone. All parties but the Conservative Party of Vrigny have supported this move, which had been proposed by President Anneliese Bow herself. Even the Z-D Kresbo ended up supporting the measure, as many of their own supporters and members even found themselves imprisoned by the Stratocracy in said complex.

Kliegme has joined in the criticism of the Vrignyan government’s handling of the situation, stating that instead of doing the just thing and abolishing an article that effectively goes against Human Rights and Democracy, the Vrignyan administration is choosing to deflect and ignore its responsibilities as a functioning member of global society.

The Foreign Ministry of Kliegme has re-affirmed that it will fulfill its duty as a member of the Concordia Entente.
While this is the only statement made from Kliegme, the Kliegmean sentiment is against aiding Frost in an offensive war, not only due to it being not necessary for Kliegme to do so, but also due to Kliegmean experience of fighting against a Frostian Offensive war.

After almost a month of waiting since the announcement, the official eCitizen website will be launched on Monday, 14th of May, to the public. The service was conceited in the trimester meeting in September of 2023. It will bundle different services, such as “new ID, passport, drivers license, interface with doctors (eReceit), etc.” online to reduce bureaucracy. The health-industry equivalent, the eAkte and GNP have been delayed, for at least 3 months, due to problems with data privacy laws and certificates.
The minister for Economics, Trade and Commerce has announced that the Index will be updated ever 2 months, however this might be subject to change if situations resolve and the general atmosphere allows for more time between the updates. Some insiders report that the analysis may be transferred to an external institute or the like.

A whole platoon of the 2nd Infantry Battalion of the Transsunerian Defence Forces has been arrested for alleged “terrorist enabling plans” and for hiding a member of Soormann’s old staff. Soormann was the self-proclaimed Grandmaster of Transsuneria who illegally ruled the nation until the civil war in 2014. The arrests occurred after an 18 h long siege in which units of the 1st Battalion, supported by Sedunnic troops, as well as the Transsunierian Police participated. Although gunfire was reported there were no severe injuries.

Tragedy has struck the relatively peaceful miner town of Veryn. The town of 1584 people on the last census has found itself targeted by a spree of murders. Only during the last day, a total of 16 individuals, 5 of which were children, were found deceased in their respective homes. The bodies of the victims were all found in the same conditions: laying on a pool of blood with their head chopped off and missing from the scenes. All the houses were forcibly broken into and no gunshots or any noticeable sounds were heard.
It is not even clear if there is one or more perpetrators, and no information is known about any suspects for the time being, as the town of Veryn’s sparse population coupled with the suspected time of the crimes made it impossible to identify any possible person. For now, police and investigators have flooded the town, both to find any possible leads to deal with whoever is after this bloodbath, and to keep the rest of Veryn’s people safe.
Meanwhile, Vrignyan Media has given the possible perpetrators the name of “The Headless Killer(s)”. Considering Vrigny’s pretty low murder rate, this unusual spree of murders has led many to talk about several theories explaining this, ranging from a traitorous soldier from the underfunded and abandoned Vrignyan army, a Zarkanxiz faith follower performing religious rituals forcefully to just a pretty effective psychopath.

Ta’ana, Mitallduk— Mitallduk’s KM political faction has officially nominated Daman Kullan as their candidate for the May 20 election. Ya’orn Gallai, the runner-up, has alleged that Kullan “bribed and coerced” delegates into supporting his candidacy. It is expected that Gallai will file to appear on the ballot next Wednesday as well.

Coalitanian President officially declares Pacifism as the country’s main ideology, following up with the reduced government spending on the Coalitanian Armed Forces. Alcoalitania is now transforming into a pacifist and neutral nation that believes in peace and diplomatic resolutions instead of violence. Even though the government has cut down a small portion of military spending, the CAF remains prepared for anyone hostile against Alcoalitania. Major Ryccian cities have erupted in celebrations, with hundreds of thousands jubilant over the country’s victory at the rugby finals.
