Erian Parliament voted down the motion to accede into the CMEC 107 to 103. “This result is closer than the last time. We are hopeful that the next election would finally bring us into CMEC,” said the Leader of the Opposition, Giovanni Arrighi.

Qaweritoyu: Mister Speaker Philip Horn has announced that the current Parliament will be the final one to sit in their current seats as the electoral map is being revised by the Speaker and Deputy Speakers at the moment. The Speaker said that whilst talks are ongoing, the number of Seats is set to be majorly reduced in compliance with new electoral rules.

Protests break out in Kamütt Bay, Antarcha over release of “defeatist” book.
Book-lovers in Antarcha have gotten a little heated over the release of a book titled “Future?” By Dr. Anise Lakuwit, professor of nihilism at the University of Antarcha. In the book, Dr. Lakuwit goes over the “impossible” predicament of climate change, violent crime, and the inevitable demise of the universe, coming to the controversial conclusion that “trying to fight the problems in life is futile, there is no point to it.”
Several blocks around libraries and bookstores in Kamütt Bay have been swarmed with protestors fist-fighting each other and arguing over the conclusion of the book. Law enforcement that have been dispatched to placate the fiasco have reportedly gotten caught up in the protest themselves.
The state government of Atlantis has announced an own bid for hosting a product development site and a technology centre for Taiga Technology, likely in the less populated and therefore more developable Western parts of the state of Atlantis.
