Politburo leader Alphonse Kirihito stated, “This sudden rise of soldiers has everyone frightened of a new prospect of war just when the people have finally rebuilt their lives. The People of Reizen deserve answers and we will not support an unjust war against our neighbors, nor will we tolerate bigots banging the drums of war in their safe little islands.”

Vremyansk celebrates her city day today on August 27th, the day in which the Frost 190th division and its auxiliary collaborator forces were encircled by the Kliegmean National Protection Army. Although the Frost forces left decades ago with all Frostian PoWs, the standards of the 190th Division remain in Kliegme at the war memorial in Vremyansk for all to see.

Vremyansk was largely destroyed during the war, due to shellings and urban warfare. However, its position as a transportation hub for north-east Kliegme has allowed quick recovery for the city. Today, Vremyansk stands tall as a symbol of Kliegmean glory in both military and economic matters.

Vote of No Confidence Too Close to Call

As the sun sets on this consequential day in the Lutezzik Federation, citizens across the nation are on the edge of their seats, awaiting the final outcome of the historic vote of no confidence in Chancellor-regent Zephon’s leadership. With results still coming in from polling stations in Zaia, Ansson, Esserix, and Dradena the race remains too close to call, keeping the nation in a state of suspense and anticipation.

The Federation government’s polling updates have shown a divided sentiment among the populace, as citizens exercised their democratic right to express their confidence or lack thereof in the current leadership. With nearly 98% of polling stations reporting, the tension continues to rise as the votes for confidence and no confidence hover with only a narrow margin separating the two.

In the overall national vote tally, the numbers stand at 50.2% in favor of confidence and 49.8% in favor of no confidence. Such a slim margin illustrates the deeply divided perspectives within the nation, reflecting the diverse range of opinions on Chancellor-regent Zephon’s leadership and the direction the Federation should take moving forward.

Oil has been struck!

"After almost 2 months of hard work by fellow Berusturgens, Drilling through tons and tons of ice and snow, and with the help of Gazproiz, we’ve struck oil!” said Kailua Orsh, Minister of Mining and Resources, in today’s press conference regarding project HC, now officially dubbed “The HydroCarbon Plan”.

So far only 25,000 barrels have been fully extracted, with Narural Gas beds remaining “untouched” according to the newly appointed minister. As stated by Mr. Orsh, the Energy Giant Gazproiz, which is of Kliegemean origin, gave a total of 200,000,000 Beruses to fund the Plan and will give an additional 100 million for breaking into Natural Gas deposits.

When asked about how these immense finds will be used, Mr. Orsh said the following: “We plan to export two thirds of the oil and keep the rest, as for the Natural Gas, we have no plans yet”.

A week ago, Sir George Moody II, visited the mining facility (named RC-15) to encourage workers and to check on the project’s wellbeing, he was reportedly “pleased” and was expecting "great developments, especially for the economy of the country”, hinting at the possibility of selling most of the oil before today’s press conference.
