The Italedo Police now believe Wednesday’s terror attack was motivated by an obscure cult referring to themselves as the ‘Gikido Creed.’ The investigation remains ongoing and the police stated that more details would be shared as the facts became clear, but stressed that there is no further threat to public safety at this time.

North Liv Commissioner, Major Josiah Marius announced the discovery of five male bodies this morning in an industrial facility near Calputia, North Liv, suspected of being part of a local weapon smuggling network. The North Liv Police Department is currently investigating a series of incidents involving weapon smuggling into the country, and encouraged civilians to report immediately should they encounter suspicious activities.

As the police investigation continues into Wednesday’s terror attack in Italedo, Esfalsa, new reports highlight the role that the Gikido Creed website allegedly played in radicalizing the suspect. Jugl, an Esfalsan company providing cybersecurity and hosting services for the website, has faced calls to remove the website from its network, but has refused, citing its commitment to consumer privacy and free speech.

Tensions between the DPRR and then frost empire continue to increase despite Imperial efforts to publicly deescalate the situation. Members of the DPRR government have continued to accuse the Empire of half measures and produced photographs of frost troop build up along the the DMZ. Meanwhile the Empire has firmly denied that a troop build up was occurring along the DMZ saying the DPRR’s historic paranoia is making them irrational.

Kliegme has offered the DPRR mediation regarding its tensions with the Frost Empire, stating that Kliegme is willing to host talks if the DPRR feels like a somewhat neutral nation is necessary to relieve tensions
(Lore time: Due to Kliegme’s own historic animosity with Frost, the DPRR government was one of the few Communist Revolutionary states that were recognised by Kliegme from the Get-go. While it is hard to say that they enjoy a “partnership”, at least Kliegme does not hate Rekiva for being communist, with trade being somewhat active between the two)

The Rhaynan Government has announced the founding for the construction of major high-speed railways in poverty affected regions of the United Provinces. In a move seen as an attempt by the newly formed government of appeasing Nea-gyan and Alla-gyan rejection of past socialist policies, Romanos Kanidis, in conjunction with the Ministers of Industry and Transport, has announced the founding and support for a new construction program aiming to join major cities in Nea-gy and Alla-gy for ease of access for habitants to workplaces.
The Ministry of Transport has promised for this project to bring jobs to the populations in the region, however, it has been met with criticism, as “jobs in the construction of high-speed railways are reserved to graduated workers with the needed skills, knowledges and titles, which are only met by students in Pzarya and Rhayna,” as said by the prytanis of the state of Alla-gy.

President Boroshilov has signed a Decree incorporating the Coast Guard into the Gosgvardiya, the Gendarmerie of Kliegme. This was explained by Strelna Speaker Anna Kravets, as a move to streamline the work of the coast guard and allow further autonomy of the coast guard. The recent incident with Termina is percieved to be a catalyst for this decision.
This move, paired with another decree that relinquishes the Command of the Gosgvardiya from the Minister of Internal Affairs to the Chairman of the State Council, a position held by the President of the Federal Republic, is percieved as an effort to solidify the role of the State Council prior to its Reform as an Constitutional Body.

Amberholde: Foreign Affairs Minister Jasmine Rivas has organised to meet with various Qaz leaders from 17-19 July. She will meet with the Qaz Foreign Affairs Minister and the Qaz Deputy Prime Minister on the 17th. She will meet with the Qaz Prime Minister, Government Representative, Vice-President and President on the 18th. She will be led through Cadmium by the President and have a final meeting with the Qaz Foreign Affairs Minister before her flight home on the 19th.
