Dacian archeologists have discovered a city near Coiful lake. Although multiple theories are out there on the name and importance of the settlement, it’s believed that the site was called Rabocentos. Rabocentos was a city listed on many Dacian maps in late antiquity, however no real proof of the city’s existance was discovered until now. It was believed that this city was the capital of a tribe known as the Rhodonas, which was a tributary state of the First Dacian Empire. This discovery has taken over the historical side of Dacian media, which might lead to continued support for further archeologic searches along the supposed periphery of the First Dacian Empire.

Montacia and Brodlancia braced for Cat 5 Cyclone Himiko which is expected to make landfall overnight. The Izaakian Meteorological Office predicts a 15-20ft storm surge wave, and has cautioned against visiting seafronts.

The Izaakian Foreign Office have announced that Izaakian Embassy in Keanu is CosmosNetwork Capable, however, the embassy system was temporarily taken down as a part of cyclone preparedness. Once weather permits, the Standard Operating Procedure in the event of hardwired communications loss is to make contact via the CosmosNetwork. The Foreign Office expect this to happen in the early hours of the morning.

Airports all across Ryccia have been instructed to conduct “additional checks” on all Valkyrian cargo coming into the country and on Valkyrian luggage leaving for countries where drugs remain illegal given that citizens of that country “pose a plausible and heightened security risk” due to the laws adopted there. Although Ryccia has legalized drug use, its import and export without special permission remains forbidden, as all drug sales are controlled and regulated by the state.

A group of the Frost General assemblymen were seen audibly laughing at the news of the heightened inspection of Valkyrian goods resulting from the decriminalization of drug use. One law maker allegedly remarked that fearmongering from Valkyria’s neighbors only serves to show how backwards they are in relation to dealing with a public health issue. Another lawmaker also claimed that there would be no need to change current import export requirements due to how robust they are and also claimed that they would welcome a boost in trade relations between the Empire and Valkyria.
In other news the Frost Empire has announced that they would also be prepared to distribute emergency relief supplies to Keanu and hurley islands should they request it.

Members of the Pasten government have shot back at the Frost assemblymen, stating that “It is not unreasonable for Past and other concerned nations to ensure no illegal drugs pass through the border,” as “Accidents can happen and we are simply ensuring they do not” while another stated that “Past is trying to prevent a public health issue, not contain it.”

Regarding the poaching dispute, the Kliegmean Coastal Guard has increased patrols in the Yatagarasu strait.
The Miphan government and Terminan fishing alliance has formally issued their complaints to the kliegman government via the TCG. The Miphan complaint alleges that Kliegme’s decision to increase patrols along the yatagarasu strait violates Mipha’s sovereignty due to the close proximity between Yatagarasu and Mipha.
Meanwhile the Termina fishing alliance accuses the Kliegmans of a sea grab claiming that the strait is a shared resource for both Terminan and Kliegman fishermen and that Kliegme’s sea grab undermines decades of unwritten practices meant to benefit both sides.

The Kliegmean MFA has shot down Terminan fishing alliance’s claim of sea grab as “the TCC, by sending observers to the signing of the Treaty of Mumiea, ending hostilities with the Frost empire and finalizing Kliegme’s borders and territory, has indirectly agreed to the current borders of Kliegme. An theoretical attempt to rediscuss this will have to be made with the TCG, and all other parties involved in the treaty of Mumiea, but not the fishing alliance. However, do not take this as indiscriminate hostility from Kliegme. Kliegme welcomes Terminan fishers that have informed appropriate authorities of their activities prior to conducting it.”

The Kliegmean Coastal Guard has informed Mipha that it understands its worries, and that the patrols will be unarmed and is ultimately a temporary measure. It also informed Mipha that the patrols are to protect Kliegmean waters, not encroaching on Terminan waters.

The Keanuan Ambassador to Izaakia is currently performing a flyover of the nation to assess damage.
In Montacia and Brodlancia power is out to 60,000 homes, and some coastal areas have been flooded. So far there have been 7 known deaths related to the storm in Montacia.

Prytanis Kanidis replied to allegations about the Frost Assemblymen, stating: "It’s not uncommon for foreigners to use other nations to try to show that their “nation is better”, and specially “our party is better”
The current party governing in Frost has had problems already with the opposition, so their need to show their government does “real work” and is better than any other is understandable, but not excusable, specially if it affects foreign relations with Cordilian nations.
We applied laws each according to our already existing laws, and as our Pasten colleagues already stated, there’s nothing wrong in trying to avoid a healthcare disaster if the services in the nations applying these measures aren’t able to take a massive influx of illicit products.
In definitive, we understand they have to keep themselves into power, but they could also do it regionally and not involve what could have been potential international partners."

Kliegme has pledged Humanitarian aid to Keanu. In addition, it has informed Izaakia that Kliegme is willing to send Humanitarian aid to both of the recent additions to Izaakia should they need it.

The Valkyrian Ministry of Transport announced Wednesday that Valkluft will discontinue all short-haul flights within Valkyria and neighbouring countries on 1 July to cut down on carbon emissions. The ministry also called on fellow Cordilian nations to invest more in rail and other environmentally-friendly methods of travel.

The Izaakian foreign ministry thanks Sedunn and Kleigme for their offers of relief aid, however, has said their aid would be better utilised in Keanu and Hurley as local Montacian and Brodlancian authorities have the situation under control.
The Keanuan ambassador to Izaakia has revealed that both airports in Keanu and Hurley have been damaged and cannot be landed on, and the sea ports are currently blocked with debris. The ambassador has asked for relief aid and thanked Izaakia, Sedunn, Kleigme and the Frost Empire for their offers of support.

The Rhaynan Ministry of Foreign Relations has offered to provide medical aid and send generators to Keanu and Hurley, and asks for fellow Cordilian nations to follow suit if possible to alleviate the situation.

The USI offers Spaceport IAF Montacia Bay on the west coast as a staging point for aid into Keanu and Hurley. The site has 2 extended runways and a shipping port.
