Article 1972: The repeal of any Article of this Constitution shall be deemed complete, conclusive, and irrevocable, and shall not, by reason of implication, inference, or construction, operate to restore or revive the provisions so repealed. Thus, and for the avoidance of all doubt, where an Article is enacted for the purpose of repealing a prior Article, and a subsequent Article is thereafter enacted repealing the repealing Article, such subsequent repeal shall neither revive, reestablish, nor confer renewed force or effect upon the Article originally repealed, but the same shall remain abrogated as if no such subsequent repeal had been adopted.
Article 1973: Article 1971 is hereby repealed for not providing a reason for the repeal.
