The elections were three months ago. Youâre welcome to reapply for citizenship.

Pursuant to Citizenship Act 4(2), the Citizenship Committee may grant leniency to otherwise active citizens who fail to vote during an election. Leniency is granted on a discretionary basis only and a reasonable explanation is strongly encouraged.

minor error
I request leniency. I have been relocating homes for the past while and itâs been a tad hectic keeping up on NS in-between moving vans.
Hello, I would like to request leniency. Although I submitted question to the debate, I did not vote in the election because I didnât see it when I did a quick check for it. Probably because I only read the title of the top result in Election Central.
Srry just came back from illness
I was in hospital until yesterday
May I request Leniency
As Chair of the Assembly, I would like to request leniency from CitComm for the following Legislators who have yet to request leniency, since they have indeed voted in a recent Assembly vote, which I would deem as a sign of an âotherwise active citizenâ per Citizenship Act 4(2).
The Citizenship Act uses being âotherwise activeâ as a prerequisite for being considered for leniency, not as a reason to grant leniency. Is there a particular reason for requesting leniency?
Itâs not really an argument for leniency, but because legislator status is intrinsically tied to citizenship, I would prefer if people that are otherwise active voters in the Assembly would not lose their legislator status because of this. But this is ultimately CitComm discretion.
I donât mean to be crass, but when did you enter the hospital?
Like, Jan 15?
âŚjust to be clear, you were uploading YouTube videos and active in NSUK from the hospital but werenât around to vote?
