The original plan was for an NPN (The Zahamana) to discover a wormhole into the Territories, and they essentially call everyone to come discuss and regulate it, and in the process create a sort of base for all the nations to interact

I mean, I thought Zamahana would just send a big message all throughout the Sector, inviting every civilization that hears it and is willing to come.

The Zelvans did something like it, long before the “reboot” of the Sector.

Either interpretation works for me. Really depends on whether people want to do a few more FCs or not.

Remember that you can also just have FCs before 0 BBT (or very early 0 BBT) if you still want to do them. This isn’t meant to be a limiting factor for anyone’s history, more of a simplifying thing. And you can exclude yourself if you want to remain isolated until some point after 0 BBT

@Flaming a few questions for you

  1. How common is Tiyanki hunting for those outside of a certain order?
  2. In the species suggestion you can list a favorite order. Does that mean these species can be a part of the order, or just more aligned with them?
  3. How common is it for species to be mostly spacefaring instead of planet-based or to have populations living as minorities on other worlds?

  1. Tiyanki hunting is pretty common around the TT in general and isn’t limited to orders. Some, obviously, might be better at it (or at processing the remains) than others, though
  2. The suggestion was for nations, not necessarily species, and it just means that nation tends to be aligned with that order and can receive aid/ trade directly from them (and may also be under the direct protection of it in some cases) There’s no species restriction for order membership.
  3. I imagine a couple mostly-spacefaring species could exist. Since the TT are small, I imagine that minority populations are fairly common, since there’s not much room to expand outward.
