Fisherman pulls up largest fish on record - Frankus Lifold pulled up thought-to-be-extinct fish from near the Jasmine Trench while on a fishing trip with a few friends. This fish originally thought to be 3 feet in length, was found to be 4 feet in length. This is a new record of San Marsico and possibly the world, as larger fish may be caught but weren’t logged . // George Salod

The IMHF leaves Krauanagaz - As Pohnarras Island has been liberated, the San Marsico International Military Help Forces has left Krauanagaz, while a few M2-5 Savtiks have been left as a gift for the Krauanagazan Federal Army. // Yannick Foze
Humanitarian aid countinues - As Krauanagaz secured Pohnarras Island, the San Marsico Air Force, has helped providing humanitarian aid drops over Pohnarras Island. Weliki Vanzuik has visited one of the air bases in Alkantara, and as an act of good will, has signed the Krauanagaz Aid Act, which is a 2 month long process of aid drops over Pohnarras Island. // Uni Padik

San Marsico Navy redeploys to Karnetvor Channel - In an interesting turn of events, the Naval Force of San Marsico has deployed 2 Wyrik Class Escort ships and 1 Helicopter carrier to the Kartnevor Channel. This is for “escort” of commercial ships in the channel due to a sharp increase of Akarinan naval assets in the channel. San Marsico has issued a Class 3 Warning which means “Large military presence, escorts needed for safety.” // Uni Padik

Accidental dynamite explosion severely injures 6 - During a controlled landslide detonation along San Marsico National Route 1 along the Sikal Viy-Deldit Coastline near Sikal Viy, a worker (who shall not be named) “accidentally” pushed the detonate button as 2 workers were working on laying dynamite on one of the unstable cliffs, the detonation wiped out 2 work trucks, along with barriers, and 3 civilian vehicles. All of the 6 severely injured were swiftly brought to Marsico National Hospital Sikal Viy, where all of them recovered from the incident. The worker who supposedly “accidentally” pushed the detonate button will see a trial in 1 week. // Patrick Dalfold

Oil rig blows up off coast of Sikal Viy - At 2:00 AM SMT (San Marsico Time) an oil rig owned by private company MarsicOil blew up in an apparent accident on the rig. The accident caused widespread oil spillage, requiring closure of an important shipping route, and the Port of Sila, which has put ripple effects throughout the Republic of Marica’s economy. 27 people have been killed, 15 have been reported missing, and another 12 were reported to have been seriously injured. San Marsico, Marica, and Kalaki to start testing, and deliveries of LA-100 Air Defense Systems - The Triangle Alliance, made up of the People’s Republic of San Marisco, the Republic of Marica, and the the Kingdom of Kalaki, held the Triangle Meeting in Alika, Kalaki, which 62% approving the delivery of 6 of these new systems. These air defense sytems will be manufactured in Kalaki, with the potential extra being delivered from San Marisco and Marica as well. Kingdom of Kalaki evacuates citizens - The Royal Kalaki Air Force is set to evacuate 200 San Marisco, Marica, Akarina, and Kalaki citizens with the help of Akarina (via the Okhoa Protectorate) from Krauanagaz and Zulghan, admist a war declaration by Krauanagaz. // Mattias Klik

The Kingdom of Kalaki has started to prepare 4 C400 Transport Aircraft to bring humanitarian aid to both Krauanagaz and Zulghan to prepare their citizens for a full-scale war.

The Kalakian container ship Ocikla was attacked by a barrage of missles passing through the Gulf of Good Omen, while on a trip from Prydon to Kalaki, killing 5 of the 30 on board the ship. Kalaki has now called upon international partners to start escorts on commercial ships passing through the Gulf of Good Omen.

King Hylio has given the green light for San Marisco Navy SMN Aerogen to bring 4 C400 Transport Aircraft to Krauanagaz to run humanitarian aid drops over war-torn areas, the Triangle Alliance has stated “We do not want a humanitarian crisis in Krauanagaz, as we have seen during the Red K occupation of Ponharras Island.”
The Triangle Alliance has started working with Krauanagaz and Zulghan to evacute citizens from front-line areas, citizens may include, Izaakians, Kalakians, Akarina, and many others.

The Marica Navy, also known as the Marica Liberation Navy, has announced the launch of a new nuclear powered aircraft carrier. The launch is set to occur in a week, which the MLN will immediatly deploy to the Gulf of Good Omen as a support aircraft carrier to the SMN Yirkshire (A 3rd Class Aircraft Carrier).

Weliki Vanzuik gives green light - President Weliki Vanzuik and the People’s Defense Ministry has given the green light for Krauanagaz to use San Marsico’s M2-5 Savtiks to strike Zulghani targets. San Marsico will also soon run humanitarian aid drops with Kalaki over front line cities, helping prepare citizens of both countries for the long and brutal war ahead. // Patrick Dalfold

Zylo Lopez, the Head of the Ministry of Defense, has announced that Kalaki will start talks with Firestia and Alcolitania, to decrease tensions between the two countries.
When asked about the situation in Ikaranarea and Loasavra during and interview, Prime Minister Pilik Gazkruya said, “The Kingdom of Kalaki will work with surrounding countries for evacuation of foreign citizens, and help with humanitarian aid.” When asked about if Kalaki or other Triangle Alliance members sending military aid, he simply said, “We’ll discuss it with San Marsico and Marica.”

Goverment increases enforcement of speed limits - As a result of the fatal accident in New Altnavia, San Marsico has increased enforcement of speed limits. This will include speed cameras, higher speeding fines, a larger police force, and transverse rumble strips, the government has stated, “These measures will warn drivers, and hopefully prevent accidents like the one in New Altnavia.” // Yannik Foze

MizdikoHypo (Microsystem) increased production of microgrid batteries and solar panels in preparation for winter storms. MizdikoHypo also has increased production in San Marsico, for customers wanting a sustainable, and reliable source of energy. “Our goal is to support a future where money stays in the local economy, instead of giving the people who support a worse future the money.” MizdikoHypo has also discounted microgrid materials for Kliegme citizens due to landslides in the area damaging energy infrastructure.

An MRAD Defense System successfully intercepted a high-speed practice drone during training in the Bay of Alika, the system will soon start to replace the successful, but over 50 year old RAMI Systems, which will see new life as defense systems in nations overseas.

A tropical storm formed at 11:10 AM GTC, 60 miles off the northeastern coast of Marica. The Marica Weather Association and People’s Weather Service of San Marsico have been closely monitoring the situation, and have advised people to stock up on emergency supplies in case the storm does make landfall.
