Kalaki has started geological surveys in cooperation with Marica, and San Marisco to help uncover new oil deposits near Nexui on the Pyglidin Ice Sheet. The area, which has been largely untouched by humans until the 2010s, has seen little economic activity, the new oil drilling facilities - if any is found - will help the community, and Kalaki and internationally as Marinex faces challenges.

A male student of Zhulghani nationality was fatally shot at a high school in Alika at 12:18PM KST, he was rushed to Prince Rekyt Memeorial Hospital where to succumbed to his injuries and died at 1:26PM KST. The perpetrator, Griki Foaltimpi, was charged with 2nd degree murder, and a count of hate crime and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon according to the Royal Alika Police and Royal Court System of Kalaki.
Multiple eyewitnesses claim that the boy was finishing his lunch on the east side of the lunch hall when a teacher came close to the boy and shot him in the head, and attempted to flee. The Alika Police arrested Griki Foaltimpi at the South Entrance just as he was fleeing.

MLN Ship comes in close quarters with Zhulgani Naval Ship - At 12:24 PM CST, a Marica Liberation Navy ship, escorting a container ship through the Gulf of Good Omen, came 2 meters from being collided by a Zhulgani Naval ship. Captain Travier Selesky said “If they collided with us on purpose, then it could’ve been a very big escalation in the current ongoing Krauanagaz-Zhulgan War.” The condition during the time of the incident was “Relatively clear, with Moderate to Good visiblity” (Kalaki Weather Ministry)

The Kalaki Emergency Managament and Response Ministry (KEMARM) has increased the building of refugee shelters in Kalaki as the Gulf War grinds into its 6th week with no end in sight. Triangle Alliance states concern over breakstates in Akarina - The Triangle Alliance (Marica, Kalaki, and San Marsico) has stated concerns over breakaway states and casualties. The TA has also voiced concerns about Akarina annexing back these breakaway states, with Ito Island being the worst of the two most recent, clocking at 40,000+ dead. The Trinagle Alliance has requested Akarina to use diplomatic methods of negotiation instead of going to war.

Kalaki has halted humanitarian aid deliveries on the ground as a result of the recent attack on a medical convoy. The Royal Ministry of Defense has stated “From this point onward, Kalaki will start using primarily humanitarian aid drops via the sky, instead of using ground vehicles for the safety of personnel.” Kalaki has started investigations with the Krauagazan Defense Command and allied nations.

A radius of 2 miles has been declared a temporary exclusion zone, with 2 million people living in the soon-to-be erected exclusion zone. The Royal Alika Police have started evacuating citizens in the area. Kalaki has asked the international community for aid in cleanup and humanitarian aid.
