Acting Chief Hana Pua’Shi has given a speech regarding the situation along the southern portion of FiHami.

(Translation provided by a professor of Austral Language at the University of Ha’Hani)

"Hello, all of FiHami. I am before you today with the sad news that hatred is infesting our beautiful islands. One of the major historical roads in FiHami has been captured, the historic port city of Huah-huah has become the possession of the nationalists. If it were not for our resilience in the face of doom, we would be absolutely defeated. The nationalists would take over the nation WE have built with their false prophets, false chief, and dangerous leadership.

The parliament has voted against drafting eligible people to help in the fight to reclaim FiHami, so this is what I will say today. Join me on the battlefield. Let us push against the sickly roots of hatred that are threatening to strangle FiHami, paint yourself in FiHami Orange, and lets reclaim our country!"

The acting chief was reported on the frontlines an hour after the speech was made. FiHami’s militia has reported an increase in numbers fighting in their ranks since the speech was released.

The thalapadian armed forces have anounced that the allagí navárchou has officially started.

The allagí navárchou is a old Thalaladian tradition, traced all the way back to the city states, by which the grand admiral is chosen. It starts by a council being formed consisting of some of the nation’s highest ranking naval officers, 20 in total. They are locked in a special chamber, completely isolated from the outside world, for 3 days, after which they hold a vote between themselves. If one candidate gets 66% or more they become the new grand admiral, and if not the 4 candidates with the least votes are eliminated and the process repeats until a grand admiral has been chosen. Rarely does it take the maximum 5 rounds to elect a grand admiral, and in case of the nation being in a war the president of congress can appoint a temporary grand admiral.
