BREAKING: Zuhlgan Agrees to Full Military Withdrawal from Okhoa by July 31

Ka’atria, Okhoa— In a major diplomatic breakthrough, Zuhlgan on Sunday formally agreed to withdraw all military personnel and assets from Okhoan territory by July 31, according to a joint announcement issued moments ago by the World Forum transition delegation and the Okhoa Regional Council.

The agreement comes after weeks of tense negotiations, mounting international pressure, and public unrest across Okhoa. The Dominion’s Defense Ministry confirmed the decision in a brief statement, pledging a “coordinated and peaceful handover” in line with existing treaties and transitional accords.

Okhoa Civil Defense Patrol (OCDP) commanders have ordered a suspension of Emergency Control Zone expansions in response, and a verification mission led by Krauanagazan and World Forum observers is expected to begin within 48 hours.

President Thalira Renkara of Krauanagaz welcomed the move, calling it “a necessary first step toward restoring full Okhoan autonomy and regional stability.”

This is a developing story.

Prime Minister Erickson has insisted the Government is not repeating the past. Firstly, she said, the Party is not the same Party and the Party in power 20 years ago was not in Coalition. Secondly, she said, the Prime Minister has changed. It was, however, pointed out to the Prime Minister that one of the current Deputy Prime Ministers, Harold Garcia, was sitting in office Prime Minister 20 years ago.

The Prime Minister is appearing today at the Alton City Social Media & Society Summit. So far, she has spoken on the progression of social media over the past 20 years. She said, ‘God, we were so much more positive then. People have been profoundly affected by the material they see on social media. And it’s been so normalised; everyone is a lot more heavy-hearted.’

The Prime Minister further stated, ‘It’s not to say that we don’t have a capacity for joy, because I think we absolutely do, but to ignore where we are right now… it’s a completely different experience.’

MP for Candy Kitchen, Roosevelt Tran, has publicly stated he would make a better Prime Minister than Cynthia Erickson. The Prime Minister responded, ‘Roosevelt Tran is entitled to his opinion, as any MP is. However, leadership is about more than just words or promises — it requires experience, vision, and the ability to unite people to solve complex challenges. I remain focused on delivering effective policies and working tirelessly for the people of Qaweritoyu. If Mr. Tran truly believes he can do better, the democratic process will provide the opportunity for voters to decide.’

The Qaweritoyu Parliamentary Progress and Accountability Commission has passed comment on the past few years of Parliamentary, Cabinet and Government activity since the 2022 General Election. They’ve stated that Harold Garcia’s return to the office of Prime Minister, however brief, made immediate waves. They said the fact that Garcia had served as Prime Minister in the past, it was not a surprise his return to office as Prime Minister was received so well.

Mister Speaker Philip Horn has reacted to Roosevelt Tran’s wish to be Prime Minister. 'Tran, you are, of course, entitled to your political opinions — including your views on the Prime Minister’s performance. However, I must remind you that this chamber operates on the basis of respect for the offices we uphold. Publicly declaring yourself the better Prime Minister may win applause in some corners, but it undermines the collaborative and constructive spirit expected of all Members, especially outside of formal debate.

If you do genuinely believe in your vision, there are democratic processes through which to pursue it. Until then, I encourage you to focus on your responsibilities as a Member of Parliament and contribute meaningfully to the work before us.’

Speaking at a special sitting of Prime Minister’s Questions today, Prime Minister Erickson appeared to confirm that if the Sortition Referendum passes on 1 August, the current elected term will be the last and will end in 2027, as previously intended, and that there would be no 2027 General Election, a new Parliament would simply be selected and appointed by the President. Currently, the President is politically impartial, so the Sortition Referendum, if passed, would constitutionally change the role of the President of Qaweritoyu.

President Button resigns as President of the United States of Izaakia, in his speech he said he had tried to bring about lasting peace to the USI, however severely misjudged the feeling of the nation, and that his position as President is no longer appropriate.

Constitutionally, this elevates the PM Scarlet Blanc to the Presidency and ends the constitutional problem that initially caused the divide. However, Ernest Le Rogue and Terra Firma remain in de facto control of 10 of the 21 States in the Union. Ernest LeRogue is expected to make a statement in the coming days.

BREAKING: FPA Arrests 7 in Krautallaz on Terror Plot Allegations

Yayyára, Krauanagaz— The Federal Police Agency (FPA) has confirmed the arrest of seven individuals in Krautallaz Province earlier today in connection with what officials describe as “an imminent act of terrorism.”

According to a preliminary statement from the FPA, the suspects were detained during coordinated raids across Mitayyal, North Glaniil, and Vellienza following a months-long joint investigation with local law enforcement and intelligence units. Authorities allege the group was in the “final stages” of planning an attack targeting critical humanitarian infrastructure in the province.

No casualties or damage have been reported, and the FPA says “the threat was neutralized before any action could be taken.”

All seven individuals are currently in federal custody and face charges under the National Security and Civil Protection Act. Authorities have not yet released the names of the accused but confirm that additional arrests are possible.

Officials emphasized there is no ongoing threat to the public, but security has been heightened around transport hubs, energy facilities, and government buildings across Krautallaz. The Federation Security Council is expected to convene an emergency session this evening.

Reacting to the news from the USI, Prime Minister Erickson stated the following:
‘President Button’s resignation marks a solemn but necessary turning point in the crisis facing the United States of Izaakia. His acknowledgement of misjudgment, and his decision to step aside for the good of the Union, is a gesture that deserves recognition. We congratulate President Blanc on her elevation and urge all parties in the USI to honour the constitutional process and work towards reconciliation and unity. The Qaweritoyu Republic remains committed to supporting peaceful solutions, constitutional governance, and the restoration of national cohesion in Izaakia.’

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kim Wheatley, stated:
‘The resignation of President Button, while deeply significant, does not by itself resolve the broader crisis within the United States of Izaakia. We continue to monitor the situation closely, particularly the status of the ten states currently under the control of Mr. Le Rogue and Terra Firma. We welcome President Blanc’s assumption of constitutional authority and hope that her leadership can re-establish national dialogue. Qaweritoyu encourages all parties to recommit to peace, legality, and mutual respect, and we stand ready to assist our Izaakian partners in this critical time.’

Further reacting to the news from Krautallaz, Wheatley stated:
'The Qaweritoyu Republic commends the swift and effective actions taken by the Federal Police Agency and local authorities in Krautallaz to prevent what could have been a devastating act of violence. The protection of humanitarian infrastructure is not only a matter of national security, but a moral imperative — and we stand in solidarity with the people of Krautallaz and the wider Federation during this time of heightened alert.

‘We are closely following developments, and our embassy remains in contact with federal and provincial authorities. Should there be any request for international cooperation or support, Qaweritoyu is ready to assist. We reaffirm our shared commitment to upholding peace, security, and the rule of law in our region.’

BREAKING: Krauanagaz, Zuhlgan Condemn Ernest LeRogue’s “Dangerous Power Grab” Amid Izaakian Insurrection

Yayyára, Krauanagaz— The governments of Krauanagaz and Zuhlgan issued urgent statements late this afternoon condemning Ernest LeRogue, former Prime Minister of Izaakia, following his declaration of leadership over both Izaakia and Montacia and his vow to reunify the United States of Izaakia (USI) by force.

LeRogue, who was ousted by what he claims was “an unelected and illegitimate head of state,” has reportedly taken command of a militant insurrection against the Izaakian government. He declared himself the “rightful leader” and pledged to “overthrow the usurpers and restore the union.”

The Krauanagazan State Department called LeRogue’s actions “an affront to the democratic will of the Izaakian people,” and warned that any forceful reunification, “will not be tolerated by the international community.” While Zuhlgani authorities labeled the declaration “a reckless, desperate, and destabilizing attempt to rewrite constitutional order through armed rebellion.” Though both nations urged calm and voiced support for a diplomatic resolution.
