The Red Terror:

With the fall of the Kingdom of Visrodin, there has been a significant increase in incidents meant to harm or kill upper-class citizens, mainly nobles, some businessmen and rich farmers, and some clergymen, who are considered part of the previous Visrodin Ancien Régime.

While the republican Provisional Government has mostly condemned these actions, calling for the necessity to establish a fair judicial system that will judge the upper-class for its crimes affecting the people during the Kingdom, there are some parts of said Government who have either kept silence about the terror on the upper-class or who have approved of the people’s actions.

The Provisional Government has also partaken in several of these killings of nobles and businessmen, mainly those who were in the top sphere of the leadership of both the Kingdom and the Orlitsa Regime. Main examples of these are the complete execution and extinction of the ruling Rucheyski dynasty and the Generals of the Orlitsa Regime. Although all of such killings were performed before the Civil War finished; now the Provisional Government and SRA have reportedly not taken any action like that.

However, it’s not just the SRA who has participated in what should be called the Slovesen Red Terror. Several small to medium sized groups have formed from SRA soldiers and other civilians, mainly communists and anarchists. One such group is the “March for an Endless Republic” (MfaER), who has taken credit for the invasion of the Avramov Mansion in Petliya.

The MfaER reportedly broke into such mansion and relentlessly and indiscriminately shot at every person inside, murdering all of the Avramov dynasty and its few courtiers. The Avramov dynasty used to be the ruling dynasty for around 500 years since the formation of the Kingdom of Visrodin up until some internal conflicts which led to the rise of the Rucheyski dynasty on the north. With this move, the MfaER have put into practice their bloody manifesto of “dealing” with any possible claimant of any revived Kingdom of Visrodin, making any possible future Kingdom that succeeds the USR completely illegitimate.

Yayyára, Krauanagaz — In a sharply worded statement issued late Friday afternoon, the Krauanagazan State Department denounced recent developments in @Izaakia, where the President has moved to dissolve Parliament amid impeachment proceedings related to the release of a known terrorist under an unprecedented Executive Parole Order.

Citing “deep concern for democratic backsliding,” the statement also condemned Izaakia’s decision earlier this year to again prevent a long-anticipated referendum on indigenous sovereignty, calling it “a betrayal of promised reform and a signal of authoritarian regression.”

“The Krauanagaz Federation views the unilateral dissolution of Izaakia’s Parliament and the executive’s veto of the indigenous sovereignty referendum as serious breaches of constitutional order and international democratic standards,” the State Department wrote. “Such acts do not occur in isolation. They represent a pattern of executive overreach and bring about the erosion of civic trust.”

The statement called on Izaakia to immediately reinstate its legislative body, reverse the Executive Parole Order, and commit to a transparent timeline for scheduling a referendum.

Senior officials in Yayyára confirmed that Krauanagaz has placed “all diplomatic channels with Izaakia under review,” and that forthcoming multilateral cooperation, including joint public health and maritime security initiatives, will be suspended pending clarification.

“We stand in solidarity with the people of Izaakia, especially its indigenous communities. Whose voices have been silenced by procedural cynicism and political expedience,” said President Thalira Renkara.

International observers have expressed alarm at the rapid deterioration of institutional checks in Izaakia, with the Cordilian Human Rights Watch (CHRW) warning that “the present course threatens both domestic legitimacy and regional stability.”

Krauanagaz Warns USR Over “Red Terror” Executions, Conditions Recognition on Rule of Law

Yayyára, Krauanagaz — The Krauanagazan State Department issued a stark warning to the United Slovesen Republic (USR) today, declaring that the continued extrajudicial killings of former elites— regionally dubbed the “Red Terror”— will result in the suspension of diplomatic ties and economic support.

The ultimatum follows verified reports of mass executions by USR-aligned factions, including the Slovesen Revolutionary Army (SRA) and the radical paramilitary group “March for an Endless Republic.” Among the highest-profile victims are members of the Rucheyski dynasty and the Avramov family, whose killings have drawn international condemnation.

In the terse statement, Krauanagaz outlined non-negotiable conditions for the recognition of the USR as a nation. Including immediate cessation of retaliatory violence against political opponents, the disbandment of rogue paramilitaries operating outside Provisional Government authority. As well as the establishment of transparent oversight by international monitors to ensure disarmament and judicial reforms. “Sectarian reprisals undermine the legitimacy of any government,” the statement read. “Support will be withdrawn if the USR fails to uphold the rule of law.”

Despite public pledges to prosecute perpetrators through lawful courts, the USR’s Provisional Government has yet to dismantle the militant groups responsible. Geopolitical analysts suggest that the Provisional Government may have concerns that cracking down on the violence could fracture the fragile coalition backing the reconstruction. Or worse, legitimize the violence as state policy in the eyes of hardliners.

Krauanagaz also called for an international oversight framework to monitor disarmament, governance reforms, and protections for political opponents. The State Department emphasized that continued Krauanagazan support will hinge on transparent oversight mechanisms and cessation of politically motivated executions. Secretary of State Darius Korin made clear that while no humanitarian aid would be withheld, targeted sanctions could follow if the killings persist.

Clashes Escalate in Eastern Mitallduk as Resistance Pushes into Contested Territory

Ta’ana, Mitallduk – Just hours after the first reports of renewed violence emerged from eastern Mitallduk, the situation on the ground remains volatile. Intense armed clashes between Mitalldukish resistance factions and Zuhlgani-backed forces have erupted in and around the towns of Zhraldris and Kevara, marking one of the most severe escalations since late April.

According to local residents and humanitarian field operatives, heavy exchanges of gunfire, mortar fire, and artillery bombardments have continued sporadically throughout the night, with the fiercest fighting reportedly concentrated near the Kevara checkpoint, a strategic roadblock defending the only road north from Kevara. The roadway, used by aid convoys, civilians, and Dominion security patrols, turns into a bottleneck in the mid-sized farming town of Kevara. The Kevara Corridor, officially DZ-77, sees 70% of Mitallduk’s domestically produced grain pass through each year.

Similar scenes play out in Zhraldris, where witnesses describe Zuhlgani armored vehicles reinforcing checkpoints amid sporadic ambushes. “They’re shooting at anything that moves,” claims a farmer who fled his home near DZ-77. “Even white flags don’t stop them.”

Preliminary reports suggest dozens of casualties, including civilians, though exact figures remain unclear due to communication disruptions. Electricity and mobile networks have gone down in several affected areas, and emergency responders say field clinics are overwhelmed, with at least four displacement shelters placed under emergency lockdown due to security concerns.

Okhoa Constitutional Convention Set to Begin Tomorrow

Okhoa, Okhoa— Delegates from across the 28 Zarhamas will convene tomorrow in Ka’atria for the formal opening of Okhoa’s Constitutional Convention. The gathering marks the next phase in the post-referendum transition following the vote to establish Okhoa as a fully autonomous entity with symbolic ties to Zuhlgan.

Observers from the World Forum and CHRW will attend, with key debates expected around governance structure, civil autonomy, and Dominion influence. Tensions remain high amid fears of interference and disagreement over the convention’s scope.

Breaking: Okhoa Moves to Expel All Zuhlgani Government Personnel

Varekko, Okhoa— In a sweeping and controversial decision, the Okhoa Regional Council has voted to revoke the legal residency status of over 7,500 Zuhlgani civil servants and government advisors. The resolution, passed in an emergency session this afternoon, orders all affected individuals to vacate Okhoa by July 20 or face mandatory deportation.

Council members cited “national security, sovereignty, and the need to eliminate undue Dominion influence” as primary justifications. The move follows mounting tensions over implementation of the autonomy referendum.

Zuhlgan’s Foreign Office has not yet issued a response. The World Forum has called the move “excessive,” and said they would continue to monitor the situation.

The Sedunnic Foreign Minister has made a statement that Sedunn expects the new United Slovesen Republic and the provisional government to adhere to “internationally common praxis” when it comes to criminal punishment and rule of law, noting the extrajudicial killings of enemies to the new administration, avoiding to label it either a government or regime. He also extended an open invitation to a “state school” as to teach the the provisional government statehood and “principles of democracy”. “Humbly” according to the minister.

Developing: Zuhlgan Signs Secret Cooperation Agreement With Mitallduk Military Government

Med Karazh, Mitallduk— A senior diplomatic source has confirmed that officials from Zuhlgan and the TPA-PV military government in Ta’ana have signed “a significant cooperation agreement” during a closed-door meeting late last night.

The deal reportedly includes provisions for joint military training programs and intelligence-sharing mechanisms. As well as the deployment of Zuhlgani security advisors across key Mitallduk transport and energy corridors

If confirmed, this would mark the most formal alignment between the two regimes since the Cordilian Fever outbreak and rising regional tensions following the Okhoa referendum.

No official statement has been released by either government. Regional observers warn the agreement could further isolate resistance factions and strain humanitarian access in eastern Mitallduk.

Having listened to the international reactions and worries about the current situation in the United Slovesen Republic, mainly the mainstream violence against the upper-class by lower-class citizens and paramilitary groups, the Provisional Government of the USR has immediately started implementing changes to prevent any further worsening of the Red Terror, and hopes to put an end to it as soon as possible.

The Provisional Government has reiterated its wish of international recognition and friendly foreign relations with all countries in Pacifica, including monarchies, even though the Government has expressed strong contempt for such countries. The leaders of the USR, mainly the President, Marko Bunev have stated that, unlike its predecessor state, the USR is not a murderous authoritarian state and its main interest is taking care of all of its citizens equally, no matter the economic class or estate they belong to.

One of the main actions the Provisional Government has taken about the situation is the formation of a completely independent Judicial Branch for the first time in Slovesen history. The Judicial branch will be led by the Slovesen Supreme Federal Court, which will be in charge of civil and criminal cases. The Slovesen Federal Constitutional Court has also been established, which will be in charge of the interpretation of the future Slovesen Consitution and will have the power to determine the legality of any action performed by elected officials and public bodies of the Republic.

Laws set in place by the former Kingdom will be mostly applied through this newly formed independent judicial branch, although these laws will most likely change as soon as the new Constitution is finished, and will be much more lenient and liberal in comparison.

Another action performed by the Provisional Government was the seizure of all weapons and equipment used by paramilitary groups involved in the Red Terror, including the MfaER, to put an immediate stop to any further violence. This had led to several clashes between the SRA and the communist and anarchist paramilitary groups. The leader of the communist wing of the SRA, Troyan Zdravkov, who was considered to be the Vicepresident of the Republic since its establishment, has also been oficially dismissed as President by President Marko Bunev, being replaced by the liberal Vladimir Alexov. With this change, the Provisional Government has ideologically moved towards the center.

In order to prevent any further civil war between the socialist-liberal side and the communists, President Marko Bunev has offered several concessions, which have avided any major skirmishes between the SRA and communists. One of these concessions is a full unconditional pardon of any citizen who may have participated in the Red Terror up until this day. Any citizen which may have been imprisoned by the Kingdom due to suspicion of being a communist will also be released. With this, any non-SRA paramilitary group will have to give up its weapons and effort to eliminate the Slovesen upper-class and nobility, as they will be judged later by the Slovesen Supreme Federal Court.

Any International Organization led by the World Forum is also invited to enter the Republic to examine the evolution of the situation and the process of democratization, demilitarization and reconstruction of the Republic.

Finally, the Minister of the Establishment of Foreign Relations, Magdalena Borisova, has directly responded to the Sedunnic Foreign Minister accepting any possible aid to the Provisional Government about the establishment of a democracy, stating that: “It wouldn’t be a bad idea for a nation which has never had democracy to learn about how one of Pacifica’s oldest and best functioning democracies does it”.

Arkava Ga’klar Ibinete IV Announces Sweeping Domestic Reform and New Military Deployments

Ozákla, Zuhlgan— In his annual June address, Arkava Ibinete IV stunned domestic and international audiences with a pair of major announcements. The Dominion will reportedly undertake what Ibinete described as “a sacred rebalancing,” signaling the most dramatic revision of Zuhlgan’s long-standing restrictions on women’s access to education in decades. While details remain limited, Arkava pledged a “new era of guided instruction and expanded opportunity” for women across the Dominion.

Ibinete also revealed that the Dominion has finalized what they describe as a wide-reaching humanitarian aid and security agreement with the TPA-PV regime in Mitallduk. The deal includes the deployment of thousands of Zuhlgani troops into Northern and Central Mitallduk to “support infrastructure projects, distribute aid, and ensure security.”

A senior source in the FDIA says the additional Zuhlgani forces will be sent to Aka Island and the Naraté Corridor, a strategic strip bordering Prydon annexed earlier this year, raising immediate concerns of regional escalation. Officials in Prydon and Krauanagaz have not yet issued statements.

Okhoa’s Convention Continues After Gunman Arrested at National Assembly Hall

Okhoa, Okhoa— The third day of the Okhoa Constitutional Convention came to an abrupt and chaotic end yesterday morning when a lone gunman fired multiple shots within the secure perimeter of the National Assembly Hall, triggering panic among staff, observers, and journalists. No injuries were reported, and security forces quickly subdued the suspect, whose identity has not yet been released.

The incident occurred just after 10:25 a.m. local time, during a mid-morning recess. Members of the Drafting Committee were reportedly in closed-door discussions on language regarding Okhoa’s jurisdictional autonomy and the future of foreign civil service oversight, widely seen as the most contentious topics of the convention.

The Okhoa Metropolitan Police Department issued a brief statement confirming that a suspect is in custody and being questioned. Initial findings suggest the individual acted alone. Authorities have not commented on the suspect’s possible motives, though sources close to the Regional Council say investigators are exploring potential links to hardline political groups opposing the current autonomy framework.

In the immediate aftermath, the Okhoa Regional Council suspended proceedings for the rest of the day and increased security across government facilities in Varekko and Okhoa. Delegates, staff, and World Forum observers were evacuated from the complex and later allowed to return under escort to retrieve personal belongings.

Twenty years to the day since Harold Garcia first became Prime Minister, he spoke up saying, ‘There’s no reason not to hand over the office of Prime Minister, the Cabinet and the Government to Cynthia Erickson.’
