Mirrey has ordered all the units of the Strategic Sovereign Command, the branch of the military that controls Ryccia’s nuclear arsenal, to stand down, and has promised to conduct court-martials against any commander who refuses to implement these orders.
Ikaranara has started a rapid, combined arms bombardment of 5 major Ryccian bases, using field artillery, MRLS and bombers with air support. These bombings are suspected to be in direct retaliation to the Izaakian assassinations early today.
Kazfek has released a brief statement condemning the crimes committed by the Ryccian junta recently although he has not shown any support for Mirrey
Air defenses are raised all over Rhayna, preparing for the Ryccian Ultimatum as civilians are told to refuge underground. Prytanis Boutros Georgiou made a statement for all the nation that was broadcasted to all Rhaynan TV channels: "Today may mark the end. What the Junta will never understand is that, after they fall, the world will continue without them. They try in vain to end the world with them, but we are proud Pacificans, Cordilians and Rhaynans, and we will not bow after terrorists. They can destroy everything in their path, but in the end, they are the ones who lose, for we will survive while they will fall by themselves.

No statements were made about the retirement of forces and the blockade from Ryccian territory.
Admiral FitsHerbert casts doubt on Ryccian capabilites to fire nuclear weapons without a navy or airforce, which are considered the most effective delivery methods. Additonally, izaakia has built thousands of km of airdefences in Cordilia to protect Izaakia from ICBM attacks.

A mass cyberattack has started against at least 30 detected Ryccian infrastructure, especially those alleged to be related to the junta’s nuclear weapon arsenal by the Besernian Strategic Command.
The Foreign Minister and the Prime Minister held a press conference today on recent developments.
The following has been announced:
- The Defense Readiness Level DEFREL has been raised to DEFREL which for the civilians means:
- Air-Raid-Exercises
- Press Conferences every Saturday
- Air defenses will be started to protect against a Ryccian attack
- Naval and Aerial searches and policing will be inacted
Furthermore the Prime Minister offered her condolences to the nation of Izaakia for the untimely death of President Blanc and her Cabinet and has offered it’s full support in helping the investigations of the Izaakian police.
Dr. Lina Frere has been recalled from her position as Ambassador to the World Forum after her recent rant in the Assembly. Until a replacement is found, she will remain interim ambassador. Her office declined to comment.

"My fellow statesmen of Huawan, I address you now in these dark and trying times of our history. It was a week ago that the heinous October Massacres of Hai Men was a reality, and my heart bleeds for the thousands of lives lost. Families separated, relationships destroyed, generations dead in excruciating pain.
In these solemn days of crisis, it has come to my understanding of the role of our Imperial Government, to act as servitude to the People’s aspirations, to be the extension of the rules and edicts voted in. To protect our statesmen and preserve the Commonwealth and her interests. But first and foremost, to present swift justice to crimes.
And indeed, WAR is the greatest criminal act known to our species. Where murder, robbery, kidnapping and racketeering, are made normal, are made, unremarkable. To a scale impossible to imagine.
My fellow statesmen, I plead you to not seek revenge or vengeance, for they are bitter, for they only spur further vengeance that continues to grow hate in our society, for they will turn out souls to shadows that linger in sorrow and bitterness. Huawan is to never stoop to the levels of her enemies, and must always be a beacon of charity, hope and humanity’s goodwill.
Thus I say to you. That our enemies are willing to take the beasts of war that consumes our world, and sharpen it’s claws. They must be stopped, at any and all costs.

Residents of the regions surrounding Riyali Kayson Linnyet have reported that army units are moving to the city. Residents of the city proper have reported gunfire and helicopters flying overhead. Castiana has also heard gunfire, and fighters jets have been spotted in the capital.
Huawan officially begins air assaults in Juno, Castiana and Riyali Kayson Linnyet. Multiple strategic precision airstrikes are performed in the city as anti-Junta protests continue (secret IC: protesters very much aided by Peonic agents)
In a hastily-done address and with faint gunshots heard in the background, the leader of the junta has declared the Ryccian people “traitors who have abandoned our country and dishonored our forefathers”. He then pressed a button, its purpose unknown.
Several missiles have been launched from silos all across Ryccia. Their targets appear to be Ryccian cities.
Anti-air defenses in the target cities, the Ryccian Navy and the Ryccian Air Force are now scrambling to fight off the missiles in a desperate attempt to prevent a greater catastrophy.

Resistance from loyalist forces has collapsed entirely. All across Ryccia, junta-affiliated units are surrendering to their mutinuous counterparts and numerous officers are requesting ceasefires with the coalition units they are facing.

The State Funeral of President Blanc will take place at the Izaakston Pantheon on the 29th of October after the completion of 10 days worth of mourning. World leaders from across Pacifica are expected to converge on Izaakston for the event.
Notable exclusions include leaders of the Ryccian Junta, N&GB, Viliakmon and Valora. It is understood that the Mirrey government has received an invitation, however due to the situation in Ryccia their attendance is unknown.

President-Prime Minister Stloncht has announced she will attend President Blanc’s funeral. Mirrey has proposed to send a Ryccian honor guard to give her some Ryccian military funeral honors, an act meant as a gesture of goodwill.
According to the Sedunnic Foreign Minister Gjieramm, no Sedunnic official will attend President Blanc’s funeral, citing the missile attack that the President had ordered that struck a target close the Sedunnic President as he was on a diplomatic mission in N&GB.
