Now they’re joining this new League and backstabbing their friend down south. If anything the Uprahs can learn a thing about dedication from us.

Rhayna was in Romordia for the rescue of Romordians, not for an invasion, and we achieved it. We know when to back down to achieve our goals, not like these terrorists.
They do not only not know how the NAGB War went, but they don’t know how the Rycco-Cordilian War is going, as stating we are «backstabbing our friend» sounds as an ignorant statement. Added to that, we are «Rhaynans», not «Uprans», but at this point it’s the least of our concerns.
If the RIM is going to make statements about events where they did not participate and they don’t participate to this present day actively they could at least educate their officials in geopolitics and not get in conflicts that are too big for them, going against the entire world isn’t very smart."

While Garovo Alertz simply laughed and reiterated his earlier statement, the Defense Minister had a few words to say.
“The notion that Ryccia or the Enemy [the Ryccian junta] did the bulk of the work in the War in Past is uneducated. While they helped us in the beggining of the war, when the Enemy took control, we ceased cooperation with their forces and they started to withdraw. Most of the gains in the started after their forces left, due to the PLA. While it is true that the PLA ended up doing a significant amount of the fighting, they were fighting with Ikaranarean materiel, logistics support, and air support.”
In an address to the nation Admiral Frederick Anthony Cecil FitzHerbert, Duke of Fjordland announced that in an assault on the presidential country abode Slaughter House by fanatical Ryccian Junta Special Forces President Blanc and all senior Cabinet Ministers have been murdered, alongside 34 police officers 12 household staff and 6 border guards. Therefore, Protocol 2 of the Emergency Powers Act has been triggered which states “In the event that all named members of the democratic line of succession are incapacitated, command of the nation will be entrusted to the most senior naval officer”.
The junta is due to give an address to the nation and “to the international community” in a few hours.

Admiral FitzHerbert further announced that the Ryccian Special Forces have been contained before they managed to reach the border. Therefore the curfew is now over. He went on to announce 10 days of official mourning.
Yttria has reaffirmed its offer to host peace talks or any formal agreements on the end of the war, be it surrender, etc
The United States of Izaakia has launched a widespread bombing and missile barrage across all major Ryccian cities which have so far remained relatively unscathed due to ex+President Blancs policy of controlled escalation. Admiral FitzHerbert has said the attacks will only stop when the Junta is removed, and peace will only be accepted when those who planned and ordered the attack on Izaakia face justice.
In an interview on IBC’s Politics Today Admiral FitzHerbert announced that he intends to form a government with members from all major elected parties in order to keep all government functions running. He also set a prospective timetable for a restoration of democracy saying he expected the Liberal Party to elect a new leader before the end of the year, and a new general election within 6 months. The Admiral also announced that he will not be taking the title of Montwælda President, as he believes the role should be democratically elected.

Ikaranarean Head Governor Garovo Alertz has made an official statement about the assassinations of the Izaakian government.
“The Enemy, formerly known as the Ryccian Junta, has made a catastrophe that rarely happens once in a lifetime. They have killed an indescribable amount of government members in Izaakia, including the former president Blanc. A terrorist state willing to commit such attrocities must be destroyed to its core. Ikaranara will not rest until every single person in the Ryccian Junta responsible for these crimes against humanity and thousands more have been laid to rest in their eternal sleep. Let this be known to all terrorists or rouge states contemplating a crime even an percentage as horrible as this- Ikaranara will be ensured that your existence is forfeited, as will be the power that you have so violently coveted.”

Admiral FitsHerbert appoints conservative leader and former Interim PM Bjorn Ragnarson as Home Secretary, the leader of the Framboise Madeleine Party former Chancellor and Foreign Minister Charles Boulangerie as Chancellor, and Former Space Minister and Liberal Anastasia Glacé as Foreign Secretary. Admiral FitzHerbert has also appointed his grand niece, former Empress Astrid as the Minister for Continuity and the Return to Democracy.
The Sunrise Triad mourns the unexpected attack on Izaakian top government officials as governments condemn the Ryccian attack. Thousands of Stoinians & Sallodesians have gathered to the streets to commemorate the deceased leaders despite past tensions with USI.

In a recent survey, it was revealed that 93% of Yttrians are atheist.
Of that 93%, 34% believe that religion should be banned altogether.
Rhaynan government show their condolences for the deceased Izaakian government officials and President Blanc. Prytanis Boutros Georgiou stated in a press roll: “We are in deep sorrow of the results of the despicable acts of the Junta. Izaakian and UPRAN’s government had their ups and downs, but nonetheless this is a sad day, for the mindless actions of the Junta once again had lethal results.”
People from cities all over Rhayna are going into mourning for all lives lost since the apparition of the Junta in the conflicts and terrorist attacks.

In a speech broadcast on state TV, the junta has confirmed its role on the Slaughter House Massacre. The junta’s leader, Lieutenant General Joseph Galonin, stated “this should serve as an example for all the enemies of the great Ryccian state. We will not be undermined. Our total and unrelenting war against both the internal and external enemies of the nation will be concluded in our favour. Ryccia will forever prevail!”
In the final part of the speech, Galonin stated “Our sovereignty and our security will not be defiled by hostile foreign forces. In order to protect the nation and the people, we give the coalition an ultimatum. You have 72 hours to withdraw from our territories completely, and 96 hours to withdraw your fleets and cease their blockade. If these terms are not met, we will launch an all-out assault with our nuclear arsenal against all of your nations. We give Izaakia 96 hours to begin their dismantling of all their military bases in the Cordilian continent in lieu of a nuclear attack. This is your only warning! Ryccia will forever and ever PREVAIL!”
After listening to the Ryccian ultimatum, the nation of Yttria fell into silence. President Strombour dismissed all government officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs where they had met to discuss. Loud crashes echoed through the capital city.
President Strombour later addressed the people on live television.
“We called for peace. We did everything we possibly could to get them to settle this dispute, and they spat in our faces. If those thrice-damned war mongers aren’t going to be content with anything less than a petty display of their power, we sure as hell aren’t going to sit around with our tail between our legs. In an emergency meeting, our legislators have passed a bill that will requires our armed forces rise from 0.5% of the population to 2% of the population by the beginning of December. We were naive to think we could stop a war. We have had a harsh awakening from our blissful sleep. This Cordilian League and Ryccian Junta have shown us that the only way to preserve peace is to ensure no one disrupts it.”
This is the most emotional the Yttrians have ever seen their president, a former businessman. The government has subsidized the weapon manufacturing and development industries.
