Alkantara, Kevpríg— Hundreds of Alkantarans have been forced to flee their homes in southeast Alkantara as militants advance into the city. Alkantara police and fire have begun evacuating citizens, while SCJCTF units fight to stop the advances of militant groups.
The Federal Army says that 283 soldiers have been killed in action since the onset of the violence in early February , and 492 have been wounded.

The Green Vrignyan Government has passed new laws in order to restrict “Wasteful packaging and Hard-to-recycle bottles” on many food products, as well as establishing an extra tax on plastic bags, which will hopefully make other types of bags, such as cardboard or paper bags, more available, as shops will prefer to use those.
These food packaging restrictions are planned to limit the usage of excess plastic, and they will be enforced through fines to companies if their products exceed the limit. These fines will also be applied in the forms of extra tariffs to foreign food products if too much plastic is used in their packaging. Minister of Environment, Julius Cyren, has stated that “reducing our ecological impact is just as important as recycling”. These tariffs are meant to persuade foreign companies to reduce their plastic impact as well, especially considering that Vrigny’s consumer market is still quite a land of opportunities and possible great profit to many foreign corporations.

Elias Hericen, the main representative of the most Liberal wing of the GPV, has introduced a constitutional amendment that would finally modify Article Purple, allowing the private practice of religious beliefs in Vrigny. Although the establishment of any religious building would still be outlawed as well as the celebration of any Public Religious Holiday, it would be an advancement in the general civil rights in Vrigny.
This change has already been voted by the Vrignyan Parliament with the following result:

Meanwhile, Max Tertex, the leader of the Liberal Party of Vrigny (LPV) and the opposition said, that: “The Republic of Vrigny was formed due to the fall of the Zarkanxiz religion and only thanks to the total lack of religion it hasn’t found itself in any great conflict”. Michail Berunt, leader of the communist party ISPfWL stated that: “Vrigny should never become a playground for those kind of dangerous thoughts that control our people”. Meanwhile, militants of the fascist Z-D Kresbo are protesting in favor of Hericen’s arrest for “considering such dangerous ideas”.

BREAKING— The Krauanagazan State Department has accused Zuhlgan of harboring former Magistrate Zhukrau Vinse in Ozákla. Vinse vanished without a trace earlier this year before Krauanagazan authorities could carry out an arrest warrant. According to the Federal Police Agency, Vinse is wanted in connection to the attempted assassination of Krauanaet Zharan in January. Zuhlgan has denied the accusation.

[h1]Mining Town Evacuated after Uranium Deposit is Discovered[/h1]
In a mining town known as Vendlopë, a deposit of Uranium-235 and 238 have been found around a section of the Środkowa Rzeka River near Jakub’s central mountain region.
The discovery was made by local police who were following up with an unrelated local dispute. The local police officers reportedly arrived in the town only to discover a group of miners observing strange yellow rocks/minerals that came from the nearby coal mine. One of the officers reported the strange yellow-ish rock.
A Jakubian National Police CBRN unit arrived at the scene and later confirmed that the rocks were uranium-235 and 238.
Later observations determined that the uranium deposit ran under the mining village and that extracting such could have potential consequences for the village’s inhabitants.
With the surprise of uranium-235 being discovered by Jakub’s river, it is expected that the Jakubian government to begin searching for other uranium deposits that may be concealed in Jakub’s soil.

Gazproiz has reported that it has finished construction of the Vostok Pipeline, providing Terminan Rokomo and Kokonoe with Natural Gas from the Pamyatsk Oblast.
Gas flow is scheduled to begin in October, after all necessary measures have been made by both Kliegme and Termina.
The Vostok pipeline, despite the contract being made before Izaakian withdrawal of investments in Termina, is part of the many efforts made by Kliegme to utilise the economic power vacuum left by Izaakia.
