The prime minister of the “Ito island republic” has been killed in an F/N-19 strafing run.
At 6:22 AM local time the prime minister attempted to flee, at 6:29 AM an F/N-19 fighter preformed a strafing run on the prime minister’s car.
The attack was successful.

Legislation is being drawn up to solidify current sanctions against Akarina, and to commit Yttria to them for as long as is needed.

The government is reckless, dangerous, and willing to supress the population no matter the cost. The Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Yvo Hartmann, has justified the ultimatums on San Marsico and Zuhlgan that “it is only right, given how Akarina is relentless in such pursuits that have endangered millions and damaged the lives of growing hundreds, if not thousands, perhaps permanently. It is our responsibility, not just as humans, but as a state, to protect human dignity; and this is something we will do, for this is in our hands, to ensure that international trade is not only free, but just.”
The ultimatum to San Marsico has been fulfilled. Besern will not blockade San Marsico from its economy, “unless they pursue further action into joining the Roiwek Pact, and aiding the Akarinan military”.

The Pelinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied that it has any current or future plans to restrict trade with the United Empire of Akarina in response to recent events.

The Zuhlgan protest has been recognised. The ultimatum has been extended. The Besernian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Aberlil Berlyne has issued an invitation to Foreign Affairs Chief Autark Kula H’kara to a diplomatic meeting in Brient on the 14th of April at 8:00am, to establish mutual understanding on the Akarinan issue and its pertainment to Zuhlgan.
Consequently, it will be confirmed that she will not attend the disarmament ceremony.
However, the Minister of Trade and Industry has also emphasised that “if it turns out Zuhlgan is not interested, we will not hesitate to initiate our complete economic blockade.”

The USI Foreign Office has advised all Izaakian vessels to avoid the Karnetvorian Channel, citing potentially erratic behaviour on both sides of the channel from N&GB and Zuhlgan. The Izaakian Navy and Airforce will continue patrols in the area, and will assert its right of passage.

Izaakian team Jessie Blossom has topped Bailtem, reaching the most northerly point of the voyage, and is now heading out on a south east heading into the Eastern Ocean on her solo circumnavigation attempt. In a post on social media she celebrated the moment with a Hot Badger, which is a hot chocolate from the Badger Chocolate Co, with a white and chocolate striped marshmallow on the top.

Kliegmean Ministry of Foreign Affairs has joined Pelinai in that it does not plan to restrict trade with Akarina, as Kliegme deems its new government to be more receptive to reforms.
It has also issued a statement saying that the Kliegmean nation will try to refrain from relying on baseless threats and ultimatums to further its cause, and rather opt for more pragmatic and diplomatic solutions.

This news was actually a rumor that started circulating due to close relations with Akarina. This rumor has been declared false, and the accuser has been set to Stage 4 Arrest.

BREAKING: Mitallduk Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that there was a shooting at the Central Crossing, one of the busiest border crossings since the Münnen Protocols saw every crossing open on March 10. According to initial reports, several Mitallduk citizens allegedly opened fire on the border crossing, striking at least 2 individuals according to Aleks Kalorei, a Krauanagazan border guard who was present during the shooting. The Mitallduk Ministry of Foreign Affairs has yet to issue a formal statement beyond confirming the shooting occurred. Krauanaet Zharan has been made aware of the incident, according to the Executive Press Secretary, and has called the Mitalldukish ambassador to the Executive Office Building in Yayyára to discuss the matter.

After what the central government has condemned a “genocide” in Ito Island, travel from and to Akarina has been banned fully, and Akarinan citizens in UPRAN have been given a notice of deportation, with the possibility of leaving the nation on their own foot.
The central government added to this has stated they won’t recognize the empire or the emperor, and they will be given a similar treatment to the one the NAGB conserves to this day
“We will be cutting of any relations with Akarina, if we ever interact again it will be in a World Forum intervention,” Romanos Kanidis stated in a press conference.

A shooting at the Central Crossing yesterday, one of the busiest border crossings between Krauanagaz and Mitallduk, has left six Krauanagazan citizens and two Mitalldukish border guards dead, with three Krauanagazan border guards injured. Initial reports suggest that the perpetrators, now confirmed to be Mitalldukish citizens, held strong anti-Krautali sentiments, and opened fire indiscriminately on the border crossing. A survivor of the shooting, whose name is withheld for privacy, told us, “I never imagined something like this could happen. One moment, I was watching the line, and the next, there was gunfire. I’m lucky to be alive, but my heart goes out to those who weren’t as fortunate.”
