The prime minister of the “Ito island republic” has been killed in an F/N-19 strafing run.
At 6:22 AM local time the prime minister attempted to flee, at 6:29 AM an F/N-19 fighter preformed a strafing run on the prime minister’s car.
The attack was successful.
Legislation is being drawn up to solidify current sanctions against Akarina, and to commit Yttria to them for as long as is needed.

The Pelinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied that it has any current or future plans to restrict trade with the United Empire of Akarina in response to recent events.

Zuhlgan Denies Allegations of Military Aid to Akarina, Calls it ‘Hearsay’; Declines to Rule Out Military Action ‘If Necessary’
BREAKING: The Holy Dominion of Zuhlgan has issued a diplomatic protest against Besern, expressing concern over a recent ultimatum imposed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Besern. This news was actually a rumor that started circulating due to close relations with Akarina. This rumor has been declared false, and the accuser has been set to Stage 4 Arrest.
BREAKING: Mitallduk Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that there was a shooting at the Central Crossing, one of the busiest border crossings since the Münnen Protocols saw every crossing open on March 10. According to initial reports, several Mitallduk citizens allegedly opened fire on the border crossing, striking at least 2 individuals according to Aleks Kalorei, a Krauanagazan border guard who was present during the shooting. After what the central government has condemned a “genocide” in Ito Island, travel from and to Akarina has been banned fully, and Akarinan citizens in UPRAN have been given a notice of deportation, with the possibility of leaving the nation on their own foot.
The central government added to this has stated they won’t recognize the empire or the emperor, and they will be given a similar treatment to the one the NAGB conserves to this day

8 Killed, 3 Injured by Mitalldukish Shooters at Central Border Crossing; Mitallduk Says Shooters Apprehended
A shooting at the Central Crossing yesterday, one of the busiest border crossings between Krauanagaz and Mitallduk, has left six Krauanagazan citizens and two Mitalldukish border guards dead, with three Krauanagazan border guards injured. Initial reports suggest that the perpetrators, now confirmed to be Mitalldukish citizens, held strong anti-Krautali sentiments, and opened fire indiscriminately on the border crossing. A survivor of the shooting, whose name is withheld for privacy, told us, “I never imagined something like this could happen. One moment, I was watching the line, and the next, there was gunfire. I’m lucky to be alive, but my heart goes out to those who weren’t as fortunate.”
