Haakon Danielson, the High Chieftain of Ravensland and All of the Valrissi, has announced his consultation with Valkyrian Prime Minister Steve Bennett and the leaders of other Valrissi nations. Following those consultations, the Valkyrian Defence Force will be mobilised to defend Ravensland’s border with Akarina in the event of a conflict and have sent anti-ballistic missile systems to Ravensland. At the same time, Ravensland will accept all refugees coming from Corvus.

The newly elected Green Vrignyan Government has just announced a major public transport infrastructure expansion project, which involves ambitious and expensive modifications to the city layout and roads of every single city in Vrigny. With the goals of reducing traffic saturation in cities, tackling greenhouse gas emissions and hastening and building alternative connections inbetween different Vrignyan cities, the project could recieve an investment of up to 50 billion Cernic from the government up front.
The Minister of Development, Public Transport and Urbanization, Cristina Garchomp stated that: “Vrigny’s public transport network shall become more convenient than using a normal car for travel.” Gas prices in Vrigny have never really been cheap, considering the country’s lack of natural oil wells and relative isolationism until lately, so a fully electric public transport network hopes to make transport cheaper for the average Vrignyan, as this would make direct use of Vrigny’s strong nuclear electricity sector.
One of the project’s focus is overhauling of Vrigny’s autobus networks in the three largest cities, as well as an expanding and constructing new lines in other cities. The Vrignyan Government has set up a competition between domestic and international companies to submit designs for electric buses for the Transport Ministry to purchase as construction of the necessary infrastructure proceeds, planning to increase the number of buses overall in all cities.
The project also has a planned large expansion of Vrigny’s railway system. With programmed rail lines both inside of all Vrignyan cities, as well as improving already existing and establishing new rail connections between cities, the Ministry of Transport is hoping to hasten transport by a matter of hours. The Vrignyan Government also started a competition for different train- or tram-manufacturing corporations, both domestic and international, to submit different models for electric inside-city trains and high-speed rail train models for the inter-city network.
With such an ambitious project, meant to overhaul a large part of Vrigny’s transport infrastructure, it is estimated to last years, perhaps even longer than the 4 years window the GPV has to deliver on its promises before the next Vrignyan elections.

Ikaranarean and Pasten militaries on high alert due to Akarinan mobilization. When asked about intervention, the Defense Minister said “In the event of an Akarianan attack into other regions, it is highly likely that Ikaranara would push to intervene due to proximity to our ally, Past, and potential naval threats to Nölvra. We would advise the Akarinans to tread carefully regarding military action.”
Many indavrals, particularly in northern Ikaranara have come out to demonstrate solidarity with Past in the case that such a conflict would spread.

The Efladian Foreign Minister and the Defense minister thanked Izaakia and the United Provinces for their support due the recent developments in Akarina. The Foreign Minister stated that: “Akarina should not take our sanctions in bad faith. We are doing what we can to protect Eflad from dangers and a country in Civil War, especially when bombed with nuclear weapons, is a danger. Eflad is a neutral country, per our constitution but our neutrality doesn’t stop us from taking measures to protect. No military operation is planned and we are not mad to go to war. We thank Izaakia and the United provinces in promising aid and support and we call our neighbors Besern and Gianatla to join them.” The defense minister announced that the HADeS, the new air defense system developed by the Silver Alliance planned to be finished by 2025, will receive additional funding to be implemented this year. Several test stations have already been set up.

Efladian railway and transportation company “RMA” has announced that they will be checking entering the tender on projects both in Vrigny and in Nasphilitae for renewing their rail infrastructure. RMA won the bid for as a train supplier for Izaakia alongside Gianatlas Rennfast.

The Besernian Armed Forces have, admittedly begrudgingly, increased defence readiness in face of increased military readiness in the region, following the destruction of Monarque. The Minister of Defence has stated that “we are working with the Besernian Meteorlogical Agency as well as the Ministry of Home Affairs to monitor the winds and the fall-out of Akarina’s recklessness as well as in contingency plans. We will try our best to divert our resources efficiently whilist still carrying forward the security of all the peoples throughout the Besernian nation as fast as we can.”
The Besernian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a warning to Akarina, that should it engage in a war of aggression with its neighbours, the Federal Republic may and will declare a state of war between Besern and Akarina, and will not hesitate to support her neighbours; especially Eflad and Ravensland.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Beringar Werner, when interviewed on the streets, stated that “I don’t reckon this is necessary, to escalate military action against Akarina”. He immediately stood corrected, “that Akarina actually might attack its neighbours in a fit of desperation, past the Corvus Line, given we, and fellow nations abroad, have sanctioned the hell out of them, add to it that they were in a bloody civil war.”
“Still though, I don’t think the Besernian people are ready to go to war should the worst case come to be, especially at this point.”

Stricter quotas for immigration into Izaakia have been implemented from today. This is part of a 3 year strategy to decrease annual immigration from 1.5 million in 2022/22, to less than 50,000 in 2024/25 financial year.

The People’s Republic of San Marsico has also announced the building of a new class of Air Superiority Fighter code named “Savtik” (The Savtik is a species of falcon, native to only San Marsico.)

San Marsico has removed sanctions on Repreteop, stating “We don’t want to end all relations with Repreteop. Although we may reinstate those sanctions in case they do something that doesn’t follow security and peace.”

The cited ingerentia being that “whoever disrsupts international law & customs is a priori placed under total sanctions by the state, lucrative entities and physical persons of Nasphilitae”
Despite Peer General, Head Commander of the Armed Forces of Nasphilitae, David Atkinsons calling Akarinian build-up a “veil threat with no actual capabilities”; Representative-Director of Nasphilitaes’ Agency for Identification and Documentation, Madison Edwards, backed by the Head of State-Grand Duke Dawson Ernst of Nasphilitae, have agreed to share “Confidential cryptographic and informational, technologies and procurement methods” [respectively] “With the public officials of Eflad”.
This is likely since Akarinian statements of them just being used for defensive measures are adequately responded to by making sure it is so.

King Keanu to host a Kings Council, which is where the King hosts both elected houses, the chiefs and the commons to debate a Royal Proposition. This convention is very rarely used in Keanu and Hurley, and hasn’t been used since 2002. The king is expected to put forward a motion to ban chumming, the traditional form of execution in Keanu and Hurley.
