DECIMATION!

In a sudden shock, the armored column is halted. A massive roadblock presents itself on main roads around Jakub City (in both a literal and figurative sense) for the incoming armored column. From upon the columns arrival to the city, stiff resistance and makeshift roadblocks have put themselves in the way of the 1.5km armored column. With as man as almost 100+ vehicles entering the battle, there were almost too many for the city’s roots, causing complete disarray for the coup’s forces.

The IVE (industry association) has published numbers showing that, due to high costs, the economy might lose it’s upswing, which “would be fatal for Eflad and make big Efladian companies look elsewhere for new opportunities.”

Reportedly, a small fire has broken out in the refugee camp on the Ares Island. There are currently no further information.

The reported fire in the refugee camp for Romordians has been attributed to a faulty electrical system of the fire alarm system (Brandmeldeanlage) itself. A short circuit between two loose cables began to braise and flashed over after it came into contact with several papers left after the construction. It was quickly contained and no further danger is expected. The fire alarm system has been replaced.

Could FiHami be hurtling towards a housing and infrastructure crisis? Experts warn that FiHami’s infrastructure and available housing are not growing in time with the high immigration and even higher birth rates and nearly-zero infant mortality rates.

“We may not feel the effects right off the bat, but there are already warning signs.” Dr. Omoto’o Weioni, sociology professor at the University of Ha’Hani, has told FiHami news agencies. “Our hospitals are being overwhelmed, as are daycare workers. Babysitters are in such high demand, they are one of the highest-paying jobs in FiHami, behind primary school teachers who earn 150,000 Fihuahe per year. Schools are struggling with their first-year students, who were born between 2019 and 2020, because they simply don’t have enough teachers despite the higher and higher salaries offered. We quite literally have too many kids and not enough adults. And things will only continue to get worse as these kids age up.”

Some of the more conservative political activists want to encourage immigration to only those who can trace their ancestry to the island nation and shut down immigration for all others. Others want to incentivize working adults without families to enter the country, with even higher bonuses for those specializing in certain industries. Still others seem to believe that the problem doesn’t actually exist.

After the Valkyrian constitutional court ruled, that several thousand Romordian and Jakubian refugees need to be deported (Link), Chancellor Sanddorn has offered to take all the refugees Valkyria needs to move. She cites a similar political climate and the strong economic situation within Gianatla as to why she believes “we can do it”. Whether prime minister Bennett will take up this offer and if so to which extent and under which conditions has not been discussed yet, but the Gianlucian ambassador in Valkyria, Mrs. Raisch, is understood to be always available to find spontaneous solutions, if necessary.

The conservative KPHA has warned the government to follow through with such a plan. “It is Valkyria’s problem to solve, not one of us here in Frastinia. If anything, we should help Eflad by alleviating their burden on Ares Island, but only as far as our society and economy can handle such unorganised migratory waves.”

Ms. Jenn Inseler, mayor of the village of Obermaluhe, has lost the case against the State government of Nordfhrient in the Constitutional Court, over her edict to outlaw heterosexuality in the village during the Kliegmean “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” brouhaha. The edict has been annulled and the case has been adjourned sine die.

However, the Presiding Judge Mr. Druhersonn has also remarked that "not only wrong + wrong does not equate to a right, but also, though I appreciate your satire, people enjoy your satire, the solution is not to enforce such oppression onto heterosexuals, but to set the example, even if you are no longer are a mayor, by taking care of everyone, even your homosexual neighbours, strangers. Recognise them. Cheer them up. Anytime, anyday, not just now, then, or later. I thus believe that now, the time is right for all to come to mutual consensus and to kill this joke imminently. "

The Besernian Conservatives have been issued an injunction by the Constitutional Court for violating the rights of others, presumably Ms. Inseler’s right to free development of their personality, of expression and to a fair trial, after they responded to the results as “frivolous” demanding “the deposition of this fraud”.
