Members of the DPRR have passed a new law revising their military recruitment from a 3 year conscription to a gradual transition to a volunteer fighting force. A spokesman for the Communist party of Rekhivo stated, “For too long has the DPRR been preoccupied with the violent invaders to our west and their sympathizers to the north and south that we neglected our most prized possession… The Future and our youth, and we must change that so that one day not only can we elevate our fellow Rekina and fellow proletariat to new heights but also to foster patriotism and cameraderie amongst the people.”

Heartwarming: two Finixi sisters, twins, found each other through Stream after presuming one another to have died in the Temikiko Village raid of 1985.
They were both 5 years old at the time of the raid. One sister was captured and taken to the White Palace to serve as the emperor’s genera servant. The other escaped to a series of villages until 2012, when she joined the Finixi liberation team until FiHami’s liberation in 2019.
A popular post about the Temikiko Village raid on Stream united the long-lost sisters, and has helped unite many other families as well.

Following the cool-down between N&GB and Romordia the news are again flooded by the brawl between the Greens and the Liberals over nuclear power. In a recent evening interview show “Sonntags um zwei” (Sundays at two) the green Minister for Energy Dref attacked Liberal Faction chief Kuhn saying: “He and his faction are those who curb every project we have proposed. Now they want to make us dependant on nuclear energy. I mean, does it even wonder you any more. Their agenda is to make the rich richer and those that are poor should just make more money. No wonder they want more nuclear, when half of the party secretariat had to do with NuCorps. (Main Efladian Nuclear Energy company)”

An Ikaranrean citizen was reported to have claimed the world should move to a “Short term energy source” to tide its switch over to energy sources that do not cause global warming. In particular, they suggested “The screams of Nicholas McGregor and other people complacent in NAGB affairs.” They did note that “It is not a clean energy source, as it requires harnessing energy from filth,” but “It at least does not speed up the process of global warming.”

The incident occurred on the outskirts of Argealon, in the Zaia Territory.

Today, Detroxia celebrates its 23rd anniversary of the Yellow Revolution, which brought down the neo-frankist dictatorship of Robert Targowicki. This is both a happy and a sad holiday, when Detroxians celebrate end of an oppressive regime and return of democracy and freedom, while simultaniously mourning those who died fighting for it.
The holiday offers many attractions, including a special commemorative display in the National Museum of Detroxia dedicated to the Revolution and a live incenisation of the Siege of the Grand Sejm Palace, the culmination of the Revolution, during which Targowicki himself was captured, leading to the fall of his dictatorship.
