Foreign minister Strunk has also condemned the Nicholasian hostilities towards Romordia, yet stressed as well, that there will be no changes to Gianatla’s foreign policy towards NAGB and Romordia. “We would be ready to once again fly out refugees and provide humanitarian aid via Esfalsa or the TCC. Provided this needs to happen, I hope to count on support from Kliegme and the USI and not on obstacles”, he explained, referring to the sudden end of Gianatla’s humanitarian mission during the war between Izaakia and NAGB.

Following escalation, the Efladian Foreign Ministry elevated both N&GBs and Romordian SECRIL to W (War), meaning that all travel to these nations is cancelled, as well as a call for all Efladian citizens to leave the countries by meeting at the embassies. Due to the number of Efladians in these countries being 8 in total, and only in Romordia, the Efladian government has asked the Romordian government to open their airspace for evacuation measures.
Furthermore, Eflad offered itself as a safe place for Romordians and British people look for refuge. This action has stirred a lot of criticism, especially from the DU’s chief, saying “We are no country for those who live basically half the world away. I mean, doesn’t the normal Efladian have enough to do as is? It’s their conflict not ours. We shouldn’t let them profit from it!”

The Ryccian government has urged the international community to support and arm Romordia. “We do not trust the NaGB regime. Its history regarding its aggression towards Romordia in particular and its behavior in general leaves Ryccia with the impression that the only language the self-styled Supreme Leader Nicholas McGregor comprehends is brute force. We remain convinced the only path forward is to make the cost of military action against Romordia outweigh a diplomatic settlement, and then the NaGB regime will be obliged to sit to discuss peace in good faith because it would have no other alternative. Simply sending humanitarian support and well-wishes is not enough, for the totalitarian state we are facing is not a rational actor, only a hostile entity that solely knows violence”.

Officials within the Imperial Frost ministry of Foreign Affairs were baffled by the Kliegmean announcement subtly accusing fellow CE members of “smuggling”, with some officials privately calling the declaration a stab in the back for fellow CE members, Gianatla and Sedunn, paragons of international law and cooperation, and Stoinia and Sallodesia who lobbied for Kliegmean entry to the CE.

In response to foreign and domestic opposition against Kliegmean statements, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs apologised for the usage of the term smuggling to address potential, theoretical issues and that it accepts the responsibility for any confusions that may have been caused by it. The Ministry elaborated that screenings are not intend to trap aid to Romordia in a quagmire, nor intended to show Kliegmean distrust of those who aid Romordia. However, Kliegme will still enact screenings, with promises that it will be conducted as swiftly as possible.

The Minister of Internal Affairs has stated that “aid sent to Romordia through Kliegme would be most securely transported through the route used last year”, referring to the KGR-ZY route, which had been used to deliver Izaakian Humanitarian aid to Romordia, until it was discovered that weapons were being shipped through the route.

(OOC: calling it a backstab is a reaction I didn’t expect, so I’m not sure if this is a good re-reaction)

(The last part is a wink wink explanation of why Kliegme mentioned smuggling)
