The Pelinese Ministry of Culture has stated that preparations for the 17th annual National Pelinese Gaming Expo being held in Tsugunare have been largely completed and that the event is expected to proceed on schedule. Notable booths this year will include perennial Pelinese gaming heavyweights Hyper-Radiance and Pacifica Protection Platoon as well as newer RPG franchises like Seihi.

Kliegme has once again broke up a Romordian terrorist cell. 8 Terrorists were killed during the firefight between the Gosgvardiya, while 13 were arrested. The Head of the Gosgvardiya reports that they have siezed what appears to be a weapon stash, made up of weapons, ranging from small arms to Anti-Tank missiles that appear to be similar in design with Izaakian arsenal. The Head also reported that the cell had direct contacts with the Romordian Government.
As a response, Kliegme has withdrawn its embassy in Romordia, and officially announced the severance of Kliegmean-Romordian relations.

Izaakia has denied Kliegmes claims that Izaakian hardware has been used in terror related offences. Or that the terrorists are in fact Romordian.
In other news they commended Romordia on their use of an Izaakian system to take down a N&GB spy plane.

The LWR has conducted a raid on a Detroxian arms depo and engaged in multiple skirmishes with the special forces units. The losses on both sides are not yet known, but the raid was succesful, resulting in the terrorists seizingseveral modern weapons. The government has deployed regular army units and helicopter patrols to the area. Multiple soldiers from units already stationed there, report that they have trouble finding the LWR insurgents, as they are hiding amongst the local population.

At the request of President Rombold, General Clara Storm the Supreme Commander of the Izaakian Armed Forces has declares martial law in the Brodlancia border regions and orders military protection at all polling stations in Brodlancia and Montacia for tomorrows election, citing escalated tensions in border regions by the Regan Terrorist Group.

Rumours circulate that the Sallodesian State Secretary is in contact with the Detroxian government to either help mediate the increased tensions or help in counter-insurgency efforts. As of yet, the government hasn’t confirmed any speculation.

Kliegmean Authorities have temproraily ceased the Post Service’s service for international parcels after several reports of an unspecified hazardous material. The move came after a flurry of reports came in nationwide of receiving random parcels mostly from the TCC in recent days.
On Friday, such a parcel caused three people who unpacked it to suffer dizziness and difficulty breathing at a welfare center for the disabled in the Northeastern port city of Yatagarasu.The three people have been admitted to hospital and are now said to be in stable condition.
While medical tests did not immediately point out what caused the symptoms, police did not rule out a toxic chemical agent might have caused the infections. The parcel has been sent to the Agency for Defense Development for further analysis.

Exit polls on the Izaakian election suggest a hung parliament, with the Liberal Party holding the largest number of seats. Exit polls suggest massive swing towards Framboise Madeleine under Charles Le Boulangerie and an almost complete wipeout of the Conservative Party.

President Rombold thanks his supporters and campaigners saying they have helped build a platform for growth and renewal. A platform to rebuild a new Izaakian identity for the future, and pick up the shattered pieces of recent history. He said he is hoping for a majority, however is confident he can form a government either way.

Gianlucian newspaper Die Woche and public broadcaster BUS TV have conducted investigative research in several immigration and social security offices around Gianatla, the results of which will be published in tomorrow’s Die Woche.
They report, that in part the digitalisation of the Gianlucian administration is still stuck in the early 2000s, but most notably, that there have been several instances, in which immigration offices have decided illegally on cases, which created loop holes helping foreign criminals to exploit the Gianlucian social security system.

Detroxian military has stopped an attempt by the LWR to blow up a railway bridge leading to Izaakia. The president commented on the situation: “These attacks will continue unless we can get the Regan population on the our side. I will discuss this issue with the Council.” Action on the matter will not be taken for at least two days.

“The Dawson Act”, which declares the NAGB as a rogue state along with putting a complete embargo and allowing asylum from the NAGB, recently passed the Jakubian congress and was signed by President Ruskowski.
President Ruskowski commented on the matter with, “We should not accept tyranny in Crabry. We know how it feels to be pushed around by a stronger force, but freedom always prevails in the end.”

President-elect Walter Rombold has made an agreement in principle to form a coalition with Lando Hamilton from the Green Party. This is the first Izaakian coalition since the 1970s. The new government will be sworn in on Monday, and President-elect Walter Rombold coronated as Montwælda.

Investigations have found that the weapons were in fact, leftovers from the Izaakian supply of military assets to Romordia. The Kliegmean Agency for Defence Development has announced that it will use siezed weapons to reverse-engineer desirable aspects.
Questions arise from all social stratas as Kliegme did not exactly blame or denounce Izaakia. Which made Izaakia’s sudden denial of Kliegmean activity conducted on Kliegmean soil rather suspicious.

In first reactions to the research, the opposing KPHA has called for stricter immigration rules, wishing for asylum and immigration applications to be processed prior to persons’ arrivals in Gianatla, and also for firing the heads of the criticised departments.
Interior minister Mann (SLP) has turned down those wishes despite bigger parts of her party at least partially agreeing with their conservative colleagues. However she announced an agreement with finance minister Bytta (Greens), that would allocate some budget into an own investigation on the matter.
