Recent polling states that Ikaranareans are divided on whether and how Ikaranara should take a more active stance in the international community. 62% of respondents said "Ikaranara should continue its engagements with international issues while the remaining 38% said that “Ikaranara should scale back its interaction with the international community.”

Of the former group, 52% say “Ikaranara should be more active in Cordilia,” 32% say "Ikaranara should be active in Cordilia and Crabry, 9% say “Ikaranara should be active on Cordilia and Crabry and take an interest in the rest of the South Pacific” while 7% say that “Ikaranara should be active within the entirety of the South Pacific.”

Of the group who said that Ikaranara should scale back its involvement with the international community, 92% said that “Ikaranara should limit its involvement to the LoC and other affiliated nations” while 8% said “Ikaranara should leave the LoC.”

There was greater consensus generally on whether to join the WF, with 78% of respondents saying “No, Ikaranara should not join the World Forum,” 13% saying “Ikaranara should observe the World Forum” and 9% saying “Ikaranara should join the World Forum.”

Of a list of international commitments, the following are, in decending order, the top 5 priorities the respondents had.
trade, terrorism, economic stability, “rouge states,” citizen welfare

Interestingly, when asked to point to a specific reason or event for or against increasing international involvement, both sides typically pointed to the War in Past and the Rycco-Cordilian war, with some saying that they are proof that Ikaranara can make positive change in the region, while others say that they are proof that international relations will only drag Ikaranara into further conflict.
