Jakuri Terrorists Strike Again; 3 Civilians Killed

Today, on 6:34 PM GCT+2, February 26th, 2026, a suspected member of the Jakuri Liberation Movement (JLM) carried out a bombing on a bus in the capital, Arba. The attack was motivated by the ongoing war of independence of Jakur, a breakaway state from the Alcoalitanian Empire that was invaded by Mirad (which was also a breakaway state) around the early 1800s.
Several terrorist attacks have occurred that are very similar to this one, usually targeted towards civilians using public transport buses. Unfortunately, buses are a hotspot for terrorist attacks as they contain unprotected civilians in an enclosed area. The JLM has used bus suicide bombings several times to achieve its goals.
The President of Mirad, Valen Zeller, has said “there will be dire consequences for the tyrants” in a nation-wide address on television earlier today. It is unclear what he has planned as a response.
